It should also be mentioned that MSU's new OC was none other than the OC at Appalachian State last year.

Thinking about this ou tamu thing they keep talking about…I guess the chief difference for me is I take ou seriously as a competitor, I respect them in a way. I cannot take the aggies seriously and I have no respect for them as anything other than a laughing stock.

Team meteor for me.  Okie and aggy both make me want to vomit.

Yep, as long as they both embarrass themselves in some way (nearly always a given), I'm happy.   A meteor at the Cotton Bowl they played in would've been perfect.  And as a bonus, Jerry World would've been demolished, too.

Pretty sure the next negotiation with ESPN for the SEC is 2025. It would make sense to play a season in the new format with actual data on eyeballs in a 9 game schedule, as opposed to speculation, when you go to ESPN and start asking for the buttload of money that the SEC is going to get. These fucking idiots. "We better get paid." Like there was some fear of that not happening. In their heart of hearts, they know losing that fucking cupcake on their schedule means they're going to be 7-5 on average as opposed to 8-4.

I guess since we are joining "their" conference, then all our conference opponents will get to pick where we play.  Get ready for 8/9 SEC road games in 2024 guys...it's only fair (in the insane reality in ATM's heads).

It is hilarious that the next windmill they're choosing to tilt at is playing a bunch of home games in College Station to even the numbers of home games at each school.

Ever aggrieved.

When Texas dares to voice an opinion, such as a preference for a 9 game conference schedule:

if the decision aligns with Texas it’s proof that Texas is strong arming the league and poisoning the well

if it’s the opposite, it’s proof that Texas is finding out the hard way that it can’t just get what it wants and hahaha.

and when Texas doesn’t voice an opinion on a possible change, like moving the baseball tournament to Arlington:

aggy just assumes an opinion for Texas and then still applies the above.

quite humorous, if highly redundant and predictable.

A&M reminds me of my kids waiting for the other one to make a choice so they can choose the opposite.

Ok. Both of you need to whisper your answer in my ear.

Does anyone really give a shit where the first game against them is played? They are so obsessed over it so I hope it’s in austin now

They build the weirdest shit up to a big deal and end up looking like dumb asses when it doesn’t work out

You know Bowen Loftin and his Short Bus Brigade were slapping each other on the backs and hollering “Hurr durr durr! We’re gonna show dem durn teasippers! We’re gonna make them play the last game against us ever in Kyle Field and beat their hineys! They’ll be so ticked off! That’ll show them yellow bellied gay boys!”

They are at least consistent in their fantasy that only one person or school controls the SEC. Soon it will be tu and all will be lost. Oh woe is Aggy.

Ok. You put your foot down. Then what?

Blindsided, betrayed by backhanded dealings to such an extent that coherence itself became impossible.

Lobbying. There's your solution. Oh boy, those Aggies are lobbying the shit out this stuff. We better do something but first: "Go get your shinebox!"

Again, or what? You gonna lobby for shit?

Oh, wait a second. Here's the list of what Aggies will do:

All Texas conference games should be away games the first year!

It just occurred to me that there are people in their 30s who have never heard “poooooooor aggies” from either perspective if they never went to a game before they went to college.

The guy saying they should not show up for the game in Austin has a great point, and we should encourage that thought to gain purchase in their collective brain.  It would, indeed, be the talk of college football.

Wait...we caused all the scheduling headaches? I though it was all the pussies already in the SEC who are afraid of playing 9 conference games.

They certainly have experience in not showing up for a game (Bowl game v WF).   One more time and its a tradition.
