YellerAg bringing in the goldie oldie moldies from the past!

image.png.f283f5ed163ee4456b4f8f3362894395.png

1 A prophet will come unto Texags speaking fresh and new truths never before contemplated at this holy site before. Listen up ye! Place your ear close to the Glory Hole (this time) to improve your manly manful knowledge!

2 Ah, proof of wisdom and foresight. What astonishingly new things shall we hear? Praise the Divine Intellect to follow, my friends. Harken!!!

3 And, yes! Hail the combination of tired prediction and strange lie about it having been proven. As true a prophet as we've ever seen in College Station! He predicted UT (tu!) to stumble facing the lines of elite SEC teams. Surely this must have happened.

Let's see, Texas must have played many SEC teams last year. Hmmm, checking the schedule it looks like we only played one.

Oh, how that one elite team must have dominated the unmanly Longhorns! Let's see just how bad the thrashing was! Hmmm, the headline:

Proven indeed, O Prophet!

4 Usage of Texags favorite and probably only 5-syllable word. It's worn around the edges, but the Aggies are all about tradition. Prophet gets zero points for using big word.

5 Not like last year when Alabama had already conceded their aspirations by the second game of the year.  Probably disinterested by then.

6 Longhorns will die. Mark it down. Book it.

7 Yes, shredding Alabama in front of a huge, excited crowd in your second college start will be forgotten because Ewers be skeered. Confidence boost rescinded sayeth YellerAg.

8 Two of A&M's best loss-victories since they left mediocrity in the Big 12 for less than mediocrity in the SEC.

Fresh takes! Get your fresh takes here! Fresh takes! Prophetic Pathetic!

Credit where it's due. This Aggie is looking to get all of his bling stripped from his header:

"Good luck finding a job in Lafayette" is a perfect take.

Yeah, that killed me, too.

"Now that you're leaving Ugly Sue for some out of state woman, don't think that Ugly Sue will be waiting with her arms open!"

Tragic.

honestly that is a pretty fucking good line.

It's up these with that Techster who was so pissed Beard left for Austin that he wrote, "He better not ever show his face north of Post if he knows what's good for him."

"The sips are not ready to face the size and aggressiveness of the lines of the elite SEC teams."

aggy was more accurately (factually, like in 'real-life') not remotely ready to face the size and aggressiveness of the elite Sun Belt teams.

FIFY. App State finished a solid 4th in their division. 7 Sun belt teams had a better conference record than them and they were tied with 3 others. In fact, me calling them middle of the pack might be giving them too much credit.

Most people go to sororities for girls, I wouldn't have necessarily expected LSU to go to frats but NTTAWWT. Way to get your freak on LSU.

Bayou bussy just hits different

Billy Napier loves Coldplay? I'm sure that'll go over well with the jorts crowd.

Tom Petty is always the right answer if you coach the Gators. Not sure he’s ready for that job.

Listening to Aggies try to explain how to win in the SEC, is sort of like asking aggy advice on NIL.

He's not wrong. I have it on good authority that the college station Fiero racing club is thriving right now.

This article from Aggie Wire proclaims that A&M is on of the most recognizable programs in college football,  amoung 1000 high school recruits. link to article

Quote

All the usual top-ten suspects are there: Alabama, Ohio State, Texas, etc. However, there is a school that sticks out like a sore thumb for one reason and one reason only. It’s the lack of a national championship birth in the modern era. Texas A&M comes in at number seven, which might seem like a surprise to some, but ever since Johnny Manziel took the college football landscape by storm over a decade ago, the Aggies have maintained some relevance.

In related news, most high school football players when asked recognized a hump back when they see one...

One could even say that A&M is the IPhone of college football.

This is an oldie but a goodie, like a rotary phone. The truth in that post is that aggy really only cares about recruiting rankings, and how many “5 stars” they can claim. They have shown year over year, they really DON’T care that much about wins and losses. I guess that makes sense on some level. If you’ve never known any sustained success on the field, you gotta manufacture something to get excited about. Fake titles, fake victories, fake army….aggy is actually the pay phone of college football. Put it on the wall!
