If we SAY “aggy” how does that sound any different than aggie?

Also, that 2024 Aggy thread title must really bother you, then…

It’s treated as a plural whereas “Aggie” is singular.

aggy is not to make fun of them by butchering their name, a la tu. aggy is to make fun of them for thinking that using tu or sip or sippy is clever by doing the same.

But I don’t think they understand the messaging- as evidenced by blooch inserting it into their profanity filter.

Don’t forget the even more lame versions of other teams that came about such as:

”sand aggy”

”swamp aggy”

”corn aggy”

etc.

I must admit to a guilty pleasure in the above. They're not used all the time.

Fuck all this "don't say/write aggy" bullshit.  That's what they are.  It is their essence.  They are so . . . aggy.

Strict enforcement and peer pressure to not use aggy would be too aggy.

I now remember a TexAgs post that I C&Ped over here. One Aggie was making a solid argument about something where he referred to us as Texas. The other Aggie, getting his ass kicked, wrote:

"It's hard to take someone who doesn't use tu or t.u. seriously."

I hate when our fanbase says “aggy” because it’s just as stupid as unfunny as those people they mock on SEC rant or Reddit.

At TOS I was told to "say" aggy or I could go fuck myself.

I didn't want to fuck myself.

aggie is noun.  The aggie on TexAgs is a moron.

aggy is a verb or adjective.  Why did he aggy his logic in that post?   You are using aggy logic?

aggily is adverb.  They all yelled aggily when he grabbed his nuts.

Regarding Ole Miss from Texags.

Donations = Money

Money = Money

I guess he had to fill three slots and only had two items. Their return on their money is well and hilariously documented.

That leaves us with Facilities. They are so baffled that the massive investment in a new stadium and player accommodations hasn't paid off. Under Sumlin, they got an upgrade that was first rate. Well that worked, what if we spent $150MM on even better facilities? Everybody will be dying to come here!

Maybe, Aggies, just maybe, past a certain point it doesn't matter much. You don't want to have comparativel crappy facilities compared to the programs you compete with, but once you're comparable you can relax. But not the Aggies, facilitiesfacilitiesfacilities is another off-the-field achievement they can brag about.

1 This repeated notion is becoming the simple-minded conventional wisdom on TexAgs. All have to do is let other schools develop them and, if they become good, you just take them from the portal. Some have suggested that doing almost nothing in high school recruiting would be the smart move. The portal is a player grocery store; just fill your basket and voila! Got yourself a great team. I mean, look how good the  portal is working for them now.

2 Translation: We beat them. They did not impress me with their 9* wins. Show me one of their 9 where they were impressive. [Texas is defined by the UH game. Any opinion can be justified with one example!]

*I won't count the game where we virtually beat them.

Birth of an Aggie fact. I'm just guessing they may be cheating > assertion about cheating > Lamentation that nobody will act on this obvious occurence. Answered with congratulations by the first person to host the virus.

Now, thank all that is honorable and manly, they have an NIL/College Rules genius to explain the scam:

image.png.fcd8dd86e36af5862f91aa0b6af70d9b.png

image.png.4921a476cb9669e2b9b235550e8048f3.png

Two things, this guy doesn't get it, obviously, and this is the kind of rationale that has led them to up their own cheating in the past. Sadly for them, that's another tradition that won't do them much good in this new landscape.

The unsupported by known facts narrative strengthens:

image.png.2f2a920109bc6a721091ec5c94eeb9f7.png

I suspect the top line isn't true, but I don't know. I'm sure someone here knows off the top of their head. Or maybe I should just write I don't know, but I'm pretty sure this is true. Over there, that becomes a fact. Over here, twenty people correct you and a few of them do it with extreme prejudice.

At the bottom, a new fact is crowning like a baby-sized turd.

Out of nowhere (well out of the vintage where the grapes of sour are stored) comes a goldy oldy moldy Ag Fact:

image.png.0dcfba5155e8f645ccd31611acfcabfd.png

I am not tied in. Not “connected”. I do, however, buy Phil Steele’s magazine every year and two years ago I noticed that Ole Miss (easier to type than “Mississippi” and less confusing than UM) was loading up on portal transfers. For starters, not depth. This was the same offseason after the Ags’ 2022 class.

It was obvious what Kiffin was doing. He couldn’t compete, funds wise, with TAMU, didn’t have the innate draw of LSU or Bama, so he was trying a different strategy. It cost less (paying 40-50 guys on your roster, rather than all 85, which is what big schools were trying in 2022), and had less risk of busting on players after you committed to them.

Now, it’s not an easy strategy. To make it work, you have to have a real national scouting program. You have to understand who fits your scheme, and you have to be able to teach the scheme details, quickly, to newcomers. In other words, there is more to it than directing bags in a new direction.

Which I would never expect Fisher, Bjork, or any of the rest of the Ag brain trust to ever figure out.

They say Elko is a smart guy. Maybe he can figure it out.

Saying aggy is just as dumb and pointless as when they say tu (although nothing is as dumb as tsips.) Saying A&M is insulting enough.

Yeah, but they say tu like some dumbass 4th grader trying to impress the 2nd graders. However, we use aggy ironically and from a position of moral and intellectual superiority. It's also a great shortcut to identify poseurs on this board as no true aggy could ever write aggy.

At one point it was the even dumber "aggsy"

I thought that was on Wheeler’s board.

To me, “aggy” is just a way to mock their stupid use of the t.u. thing.
It “don’t make a shit to me”, but I don’t spell it that way on other message boards.

Yes, aggy became a funny word to use for a while but it's obviously gone on way too long but whatever. It's also not like any of us are physically incapable of calling them Texas A&M or the Aggies.

Also, it seems to be forgotten now but step one of the process to aggy becoming a thing was the observation that if the plural is Aggies then the singular should be Aggy. And then it became an adjective for a short while when we discussed that basically every word that ends in -aggy is an adjective (baggy, saggy, etc.). At which point aggy was the adjective to describe Texas A&M Aggies before it took on the hive mind singularity meaning. The adjective form is still valid, imo. Texas A&M Aggies and their fanbase are aggy.

To be fair, 85% of their regular HS recruiting class is for one year.

It would only be as dumb as tu if we spelled it "M&A T" or "Eigga."

And not to be harsh, but who gives a fuck if it's spelled "Aggie" or ''Aggy." It's a stupid word to describe a cult. It's not worth the simple respect of even wondering how to spell it correctly.

Hopefully some very special aggy will find out tonight, drunk post, black out, and then find out all over again tomorrow.  And angry post.
