Negative Recruiting Your Own School: The aggy Screenshot Megathread

Their SoS is higher because they have to play us.  Our SoS is lower because we play them.  That is it in a nutshell.
Common Opponents:
Fla.  - aggies away.  - Texas at home.
Ark. - aggies neutral site - Texas away.
Miss St. - aggies away - Texas at home

aggies:                                                 Texas:
LSU - at home                                     Georgia - at home
Mizzou - at home                               Kentucky - at home
South Carolina - away                       Oklahoma - neutral site
Auburn - away                                   Vanderbilt - away
We play them at home while we are on the road, but our schedule is a piece of cake because we are playing a weak aggie football program and they have to play the powerhouse University of Texas.  Nevermind, they are getting us at home and we play away.   Their biggest argument for us having an SEC cupcake schedule is that they suck and are dragging our SoS to the dirt and theirs is tougher because they have to play the juggernaut that is The University of Texas.

Texas and A&M score differential (first and second column respectively) vs SEC teams, ranked per FPI.  Tiers are arbitrarily created by me.

TIER 1

1 - Texas                    N/A         TBD

2 - Bama                   N/A          N/A

3 - Georgia               -15            N/A

4 - Ole Miss              N/A           N/A

5 - Tennessee           N/A           N/A

TIER 2

6 - South Carolina    N/A           -24

7 - A&M                     TBD          N/A

8 - LSU                      N/A           +15

TIER 3

9 - Missouri               N/A          +31

10 - Florida                +32          +13

11 - OU                       +31           N/A

12 - Auburn                N/A          TBD

13 - Arkansas            +10           +4

TIER 4

14 - Vanderbilt          +3             N/A

15 - Kentucky            TBD          N/A

16 - Miss St               +22           +10

Non-con they have ND > Michigan, but our easiest opponents CSU and La Monroe would both be double digit favorites over NM State and McNeese.

It seems like daily there's a new chart or graph that I have no hope of interpretting. Thanks for the summary at the bottom.

[okay, I get it now. Thanks.]

I am here for the following:

Longstreet is scared on the competition from Marcel Reed

He’s not as good as the guys we really wanted

He’s not SEC ready

Elko was going to pull his offer after he went to the USC game so he decommitted.

But mostly, I am here for the Aggie tears.

To add to their stupid talking points:

Something along the lines of “We’ve had 5 stars bust before so we shouldn’t worry about recruiting them”.

Lots of interesting things from Brauny's posts.

1) Texags only seek information that confirms their bias. Everyone from the outside looking in, knew that Longstreet was going to flip in minute USC showed any interest. Brauny's due diligence ended after his 1st call to his "source" that confirmed his bias.

2) aggy has their savior in Reed, which caused Longstreet to leave because of an empty QB room at USC, but he thinks all these other QBs are immediately going to flip to come into the same situation that he says drove away Longstreet, just makes no fucking sense.

3) Reed fucking sucks, and thinking he's the longterm answer is hilarious, if aggy really starts pursuing another serious QB prospect in the 2025 class, that should really tell everyone what the coaching staff really thinks of Reed.

Good to see reed is the next heisman winner.  Amazing how they can do this with every qb.

Of course he had better watch out because that nobody 3rd stringer looks like an nfl qb already, against powerhouse nmsu.  Healthy qb room, great competition, will only make them both better!

Just like king and starkel. Or weigman and calzada. Or whoever.

Hilarious and predictable. If Longstreet doesn’t think he can beat out Reed as a freshman, he needs to go find another career.

Let’s track it out chronologically:

- Outrage that Wiggy wasn’t listed as Heisman favorite in the season previews.

- Lose to Notre Dame, Wiggy is a pothead.

- Winning streak with Reed, dark horse Heisman contender.

- Wiggy is the 2025 favorite after the Mizzou game and then chases that with a benching against LSU.

- Get smoked by South Carolina, Reed sucks and can’t throw. Longstreet is the savior.

- Longstreet flips, and… wait for it… Reed is so good he scared away Longstreet.

Clearly this hurts if you're ATM but their handwringing is a little silly tbh. No duh a Socal kid wants to stay home at USC and play for QB guru Lincoln Riley instead of shipping off for Texas and a bunch of coaches with zero NFL QB products.

I am disappointed I left off one of the excuses. I totally forgot about the “Looch knew about his for months but didn’t want to say anything.”  They have hit on all but one!!  It’s like clockwork with the Aggies.

SoCal. > college station

Sure Southern California has great weather, traditions of winning, elite networking opportunities, beautiful women, great social scene and activities, but do they have a dixie chicken and bottle cap alley?

He could've had a legion of 50 year old men in the Houston suburbs calling him "Streety" that are willing to die for him. He could've had it all. What an idiot.
