Their greatest turdition is that they never learn. Anything. Ever.

And never seem to realize the douchebag shittery is coming from inside the cult. The only consistent thing about aggy is they can't handle themselves with any class or decorum for any moment or event. Ever. They will always aggy it up.

1998 aggy game draw was nuts.

It was. I was there at 2am at Belmont with my sleeping bag and boones farm. I got guest ticket too and took my dad.

That was 1998. There are better methods now, not in college station, but in the rest of the world. Still, it was memorable. It’s was fantastic.

We didn’t eat any lists, but we ate a lot of Gumby’s.

Shit - I go back to the Randall’s or Krogers days of North EZ tickets going for $5.

My Dad and I saw Phil Dawsons’ kick to beat Virginia, and the Barber Brothers, during the ‘95 season from those seats.

Times have changed.

Back in 1996, after Texas beat A&M 51-15, my girlfriend and I went down to dirty 6th.  There were about 400 happy Longhorns celebrating in Maggie Mae's when two total redneck-looking Aggies walked in with their dates.  At first everybody was chill but after 15-20 minutes some of the Longhorns start giving the Aggies a  hard time about the game.  This one Aggie starts flipping the bird to everybody in the bar, saying "FUCK you, Texas. FUCK YOU, f*ggots!"  etc ... I mean, these two dudes are outnumbered 400-2.  Before they could get their asses beat down, the bartender grabs one of them and says "Look, asshole. You may not care if you get your asses beat to a bloody pulp but it's not going to happen in my bar. If you're aiming to take on everybody in this here, you're going to have to do it out in the street."    Somehow, that got through to this guy.  His immense stupidity was broken through and he realized that his odds in a fight against 400 drunk Longhorns were not good. He stopped and they left.  But he really was in a crowded bar, on 6th street, after a massive Texas victory, trying to challenge the entire assembled Longhorn crowd.

Somewhere, Listeater is now about 45 years old.  Imagine being her. Imagine being universally hated by your Aggie brethren and sistren. I wish she'd come out of the woodwork. She needs another good mocking.

I don’t know man. She wasn’t in good health at 19. Shit, she was so hungry she ate paper. Unless she made some changes, she might not even be around anymore.

1) Phil was in my Business Law (for non-business majors) study group. (The only one who did NOT contribute a brief to the group.)

2) I went to that game.

3) A high school buddy was at UVA B-school (on his way to becoming an investment banker) and he came to town for that game. (He went to Duke undergrad, so he wasn't too worked up.)

...so this posts hits close to home.

When did Maggie Mae's ever allow livestock?

Listeater is absolutely my most favorite Aggy story ever. I remember watching it play out in real time and thinking this is too good to be true. If you enjoyed the Schlossnagle schadenfreude this summer, Listeater was a lot like that, albeit even more bizarre because of her mannerisms and appearance.

I would pay a lot to know her side of the story, and to where she ended up in life. Such a perfect Aggy story with selfishness, lack of self awareness, righteous indignation, and of course the whole plot being stirred by a desire to get tickets to see A&M valiantly defeat daddy.

Have you no Aggie Honor, sir?

Poor little Reveille down there just waiting to watch the next game or at least the scoreboard. Now soaked in Aggie urine filtered through Aggie turds.

REVEILLE!

Almost forgot to add:

She never even gets a chance to say it was a sippy in disguise:

Someone on one of the older versions of Surly tracked her down about 15 or so years ago, and she was a teacher in Milano, just east of Rockdale.

Holy shit hahahaha. I cannot believe that is real. That is both hilarious and, well, that's just fucking insane. Did anyone ever figure out her name?

The TexAgs video is on YouTube. It’s a masterpiece.

Yeah a poster on the Shag claimed to know her name, profession, and employer. In this version, I believe she was an accountant at one of the Big 6 firms in Houston.

A lot of people get burned out working 80+ hour weeks right of college so I could see her being a teacher now.

Her equally fat friend standing up to defend her was probably my favorite part of the video. “My friend is at peace with herself and God, so there’s nothing y’all can say or do to her.” What Hugh Freeze level evangelist level bullshit. You cheated. You got caught. Admit defeat and go the back of the line. Nope. She stuck with it, and she’s  the aggy version of Bartman.

Probably one of the greatest stories ever told. Only a Longhorn could do something that hilarious. Sometimes I randomly think about it and it never fails to make me chuckle.

An INT because he's smart and read the play, a bust because he's so slow. Jerrin gives and Jerrin takes.
