Texas players hate aggy because they are the next opponent, that's called culture.

I was talking about this with one of my good friends who was on some of those really good 2010s LSU teams. He basically said rivalry games mean virtually nothing extra to the players at big time programs.

These Texags posters are kind of right that this season is playing very out similar to last season. Start the season off hot with a big OOC win, suffer a mid season loss and an injured Ewers and enter a skid of close ugly games against sub par competition. It’s just that’s these dipshits are forgetting the part were Texas found its grove and then proceeded to beat the shit out of our in state rival in the last game of the season and crush our opponent in the conference title. So yeah, I hope Texas repeats this year what we did last year because these dipshits think they are Washington when they are actually Tech.

But last year’s subpar competition were just big 12 teams. This year’s subpar teams are the same teams that have beaten Alabama, Georgia, ole miss, and Tennessee.  And unlike the kstate or Houston games of last year, we haven’t really ever been in danger of losing any of these games near the end.

That entire screenshot made me think of this:

"If you never dare to be great, you'll always be mediocre"

This is as close to SEC relevance as they have ever been, and they are crying about not starting Marcel against ND....Sack up Fake Army,  good lord.  It's all right in front of them - go win it,  or go get your shit pushed in,  either way, own it.  They aren't one coaching decision or 10 from being a better or worse team than the one that was at Auburn.

Many of these SEC simpletons, aggie fans completely included, do not appear to watch many games at all. The games their teams play in? Sure. After that, it's a lot of p-hacking to find the results they want to focus on from box scores or, even sillier, just looking at standings.

This Texas defense basically goes 22+ deep with playmakers all over the field. They were smothered by Notre Dame's defense and yet they're expecting a different result against a strikingly similar opponent. SCar has a great DL and that's fine and all, but overall the Texas defense is significantly better in the back 7 and with depth. Good luck, dummies.

My favorite part of their current thinking is that they will lose because all of their players are too young to remember when Texas and aggy played each other regularly.

Thankfully, we have a BYU/Bill Snyder mold team where most of our starters are 35 years old and grew up deeply invested in this rivalry.

Advantage tsips.

you underestimate how easy it is for aggy to say "...but Marcel Reed" as it relates to ND game.

Look out, it's becoming self-aware.

They're not that good. And Tech alumni would take issue with this. Tech hates Aggy even more than we do.

Weirdly I just watched Josh Pate go over officiating and how porous it's been. He showed our game against Georgia and was just dumbfounded at how many bad calls we got. He said we would have been in it had the refs not been incompetent, which I agree. We also shot ourselves in the foot as well, but you saw in the second half how we came back. This time around I think we beat them.

Anyway, those exact same refs called the ou/Bama game, and again, they made some really, really, really bad calls. Bama was gonna lose regardless, but they also got choded. Oh, and I forgot to add re: when we got a shit call against Georgia and our fans started throwing bottles and the call was reversed. Seems weird, huh?

He ended it with saying the coaches have to speak with theedis, the plauers have to speak with the media, so why are refs exempt? Those bad calls will never be heard from again, but all they answer to are their own bosses. So either hire full-time refs, or male them speak with the media and get asked about the shit calls they make.

I hate that I agreed with an aggy. I'm going to go drink methanol and set myself on fire now.

What's wrong with carrying a dildo in your pocket? I carry a minimum of 4 just to be safe. They're just queers. Geez. Now I feel attacked!

Yes, they've played comparable defenses to...the #1 defense. K.

And our run defense sucks, so why are offenses abandoning it? Pick a lane, retards. And Ewers is comparable to...Payton Thorne. Got it.

I'm not sure they watch their games, unless they are over the air. Can most of them afford cable or streaming?

Poor Marcel.  What did he do to deserve this?  Messiahs get crucified quickly in CS.

All he's got to do is become consistent, accurate, and gain 40 pounds of good weight without losing any speed or quickness and he should be pretty good.

Texas Tech led the series during the Big 12 Conference years (1996–2011) with a 10–6 record. In summary, Texas A&M dominated the series during the early years (1927–1955) with a 12–3 advantage, while Texas Tech leads the series in the modern era (1957–2011) with a 29–25–1 advantage.

Lol Pate said almost nothing from your first two paragraphs. He used the call reversal from our game as an example of a bad reffing system. The only comment he made on the game itself was that the refs changing the call didn’t impact the outcome. So, really the opposite of what you’re saying he said

Also, he issued a correction - the OU/Bama refs were not the same crew as our game against UGA

Why do Aggie fans believe they are loaded with talent? Do they have some sort of cherry picked data they found? Because, while they do have some talent at some positions, they are really weak at several other positions and with depth. I don’t get it.

Their offense is a lot different than it was in September so I think we can copy/paste Notre Dame

One of the big elements to me is that our DEs are so athletic. Simmons and Sorrell have both made plays this year where they crash down on a zone-read but recover to bring down the QB. Moore and Burke aren’t the same level of athlete Moore is showing great football IQ and Burke is long and seemed to learn how to play the option live in Tuscaloosa last year. We’re not a team that should lose to options plays. LBs still have some issues with run fits but not enough to really cost us

Eh, it has been hours since I watched it, which is what I put in the post. As for the ou/Bama game, I thought he did say it was the same crew? 🤷‍♂️

Eh, I fucked up. My bad. It's been hours, so I just remembered a few things. I'm also at work, so I'm also distracted. It is what it is.

Our speed on D is crazy. UK had a play that was blocked perfectly to gain 7-9 yards, but here comes a guy like a .220 Swift to tackle him for only 2. Don't remember who it was but man...

Just like they think us having a weak schedule makes us a weak team, some of them use the facts above to seemingly "prove" that good coaches start out with bad records. And that's a highly decorated TexAg up there. Check out the bling!
