These guys are weirdos and losers. I don't think we need to overthink it anymore than that.

Ha. Right. We are caught in a maelstrom of overthinking this one. This shit is building up into a Cat 5, given the personalities involved. This is going to be overthought for another 25,000 words, I suspect.

At least it's on topic. Aren't you the guy who likes the digressions on other threads because not much is going on?

If you want to join the thread police, you need to apply like the rest of us.

This is more or less what happened in the full video

Kirby put up the photo of 4 players, Bryce Young, Burrow, Newton, and Manziel and asked the crowd what they had in common (his theme was heisman winners that torched his defense)

One person answered heisman he nodded

Another said champions

and that is where said Manziel won shit.

In comes Liucci talking shit when Kirby readily admits it.

Where was an attempt at policing in what I wrote? I commented on comments, which is literally the reason for this thread.

Don't sweat your testes, CTJ. It was largely a joke not a criminal prosecution.

I suppose I read your Cat 4 comment as disapproving. Sorry to misinterpret you.

To claim that you underachieve should require some record of achievement as the mark. They regularly meet the mark and fail to exceed it. They are who they are.

Agree overall.  Specifically, now, I think they are stating they under-achieve relative to resources expended.

And they are certainly correct about that.  I don't see it changing.

Crazy that like 18 of their first 20 games are at home. The other 2 are neutral site. They don’t play a road game until like April or some shit.

Doesn't Schloss wants to bring that kind of scheduling here?  Weren't there reports of him bitching about having to play in Arlington and go to San Diego next year?

As I recall, what he said was that he did not like to play the first games of the season on the road.

They always do that. At least since 2 coaches ago. 20 nobodies at home to start the year, and they get ranked high when they are 18-2.  Maybe it doesn’t work for them this year.

This is a reply to a sane aggy that had made the point that Schloss was actually trying to win the National Championship last year in the game that decided the National Championship. Seems obvious, right? Then left for another job, just as other coaches had done before, including coaches that left other jobs to go to aggy.

But this guy wouldn’t want to win it all with someone that doesn’t live up to aggy standards.

Dude is unhinged, like a big part of that fan base.

Yeah but it's fine because any coach currently at A&M (and winning) is obviously a true aggie, so if they win with them it's great.

It's only once they leave (or start running out of time more frequently) that they become a piece of shit not worthy of stepping foot on the hallowed aggie campus.  Then they knew all along that this guy was never a true aggie, and it's a actually good thing that they didn't win a title with him because they'd rather lose with "class" than win with whatever the opposite of aggie-style "class" is.  In fact, maybe some of the true redass ags on the team lost the title game on purpose because they knew the coach was a garbage person and didn't want to taint the aggie legacy with an impure win under someone who didn't live up to the code.  heroes.

Like basically all of their bullshit, it's revisionist history, self-reinforcing, self-fulfilling prophecy, circular logic type stuff.

Bingo. Nowhere in aggy's touching ode to loyalty is mention of the fact Earley bolted for Austin at first opportunity. They were eager to trash him until the aggy brass lured him back. That desperate move of hiring an unqualified HC to hold their roster together was short-sighted, but after the humiliation of so many defections to the evil empire, it was portrayed as some meritorious achievement. Sure, Jan.

As for that roster, funny how there's no questioning of why several current aggy players briefly went into the portal before deciding to stay. Were these guys as loyal as fan fiction suggests, they'd never have thought about playing in Austin or anywhere else. But as noted, true ags will always rework the facts to suit their fantasy.

They cherry picked last year's finish. The last time they finished that high is 2012-2013

So aggy’s average finish in those standings since 2012-13 was 14.18,

while the Longhorns’ average was 5.27.

The Aggies claiming moral victory that they lured back Early and kept their roster from transferring will never be NOT hilarious.

It seems like a recipe for disaster to hire based on roster retaining. Elko, Early and Rodney Terry, bleh just rip that bandaid.

They constantly ridiculed the cup when we were always in the top 5 and trying to catch Stanford.

"It's just a bunch of girl sports and unmanly male sports!"

Then they had their good year and, I think, finished ahead of us making the Director's Cup the supreme judge of athletic programs.

Buzz Williams will not be on our short list. (or long list)

He's a great pick if you want a coach that dresses and acts like a kids birthday party magician.

They're seeing the light that Early is way way in over his head.
