Please tell me those green chips are $10 and he’s at the $10 table.

upon reflection it would be funnier if he was gambling away $10k of their money per hand, like it was $10.

and if I was on Twitter I’d contemplate a reply to Jerry saying he’s obviously a better gambler than sark, who had unsuited 5 and 7 for his first hand.

After all the sark 5-7 year one copium they’ve binged on all season, would be great to see them go 5-7 in year 2.

its tough to find 7 losses with their schedule, but…

lose at ND in week 3 to go 2-1, then get past Auburn and miss st to go 4-1. Then lose their last 6 conference games (Florida with lagway, @arky, @lsu, @mizzou, South Carolina with sellers, and then @texas)

That would be fun times. Would lead to the wholesale staff turnover and year 3 reset, when they all know the program is dead stick but they can’t do anything about it for a while.

So many red flags in this first year regarding Elko's ability to be a successful head coach. Lot of signs of immaturity: the "this is a real program" comment then losing 4 out of the next 5, his sideline antics, sideline commentary, etc. He gets easily frustrated out there and his body language is terrible for a Head Coach. Maybe he figures it out, but I get the sense that Elko thinks he has all the answers with little ability to self reflect. Kinda reminds me of Tom Herman.

Too late. The Texas toxicity is here now. Poison from without forever.

You forgot a couple:

  1. Odd claim that doing poorly in the first year necessarily leads to nattys!
  2. Absolute denial that what you just watched was fucking bad, man. Really, really bad.

Ouch. That looks like a nickname that could stick.

True. I do think USC had a moment of, "I can't believe we're going to lose to these loudmouth nobody clowns." A&M was already convinced they'd won yet again. Wouldn't a great culture have you bearing down instead spiking the ball before you cross the goal line? Isn't this overblown opinion of yourselves part of what Elko thinks he replaced? Fun times ahead.

Good to see the SEC patch still proves you're big time.

Nothing says "big time" more than having your conference mates nickname you Texas 8&4. Elko isn't the only entity in over their head.

I'm reminded of William telling the parrots that big time coaches were contacting A&M last winters dying to be the one to wake the giant. Their selection committee ends up with Mark Stoops and Mike Elko as the top two. I guess Lane failed the phone interview along with all the other big-timers calling to get in on big time SEC football.

Their comparisons to sark and our nil budgeting seem to omit the fact that their money was asked to pony up in 2022 for that class (which they did), then 2 seasons later was asked to pony up 75 million to fire Jimbo and staff (which they did) and then were asked to pay for Mike fucking elko and Collin Klein (which they did).  So now they are being asked to fork over even more for nil, their taps or their willingness may be a little out.

it’s a little bit different scenario.

They keep calling Elko discount Jimbo. If their objective was to get a discount, they failed at that, too. 7.5 mm/year for Jimbo, 7 mm/year for Elko. .5 mm discount?  For a guy with 2 years HFC experience?

And they’re paying both. So much for Dollar Store/Temu Jimbo.

But you forget, everything in the Dollar Store is now $1.25.

The greatest recruiting class in the history of sports that they definitely didn't buy with bags is now:

20-18 overall
17-18 vs. FBS teams
12-18 vs. P5/P4 teams
11-13 in conference

Well, a few of them are anyway

Jimbo was at 9 or 9.5 after the extension I believe. Buuuut it doesn’t really matter when you are paying it anyway. Now they’re just also paying elko for the same results as keeping jimbo, for only 7 million more per year.

who the fuck is telling these idiots they have the most resources in college football. blatant lie. they keep forgetting or don't want to believe that besides any resources they claim, TO PLAY OR COACH AT AGGY YOU HAVE TO STAY IN SHITHOLE COLLEGE STATION. therefore you overpay until whoever you overpaid to be there comes to their senses and leaves that abortion of a town.

All the defense of Liucci is hilarious to me. Elko is there because Liucci and Texags demanded it. They threw a wall-eyed fit over Mark Stoops and demanded Elko (not in small part because we were making fun of their stupid asses).

Some of them are saying Liucci has to be careful so that he doesn’t lose his access. Oh, the access that he uses for personal benefit, but will never tell his subscribers what’s actually going on? Like last night when he sat on the injury report until right before kickoff? The rubes will continue to pay to be shit on. They’re masochists.

Aggy Misery Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their aggy misery problem.  It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.M.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their aggy misery problem.

A.M.A.’s primary purpose is to help aggy misery addicts to achieve sobriety.

How A.M.A. works

Members use the Twelve Steps to maintain sobriety. Groups use the Twelve Traditions to stay unified.

A.M.A.’s Twelve Steps are a set of spiritual principles. When practiced as a way of life, they can expel the obsession with aggy misery and enable the sufferer to recover from addiction.

The Twelve Traditions apply to A.M.A. as a whole. They outline how A.M.A. maintains its unity and relates itself to the world around it.

The book Aggy Misery Anonymous describes the A.M.A. program of recovery. It also contains stories written by the co-founders and stories from a wide range of members who have found recovery in A.M.A.

Who Are A.M.A. members?

We are people who have discovered and admitted that we cannot control our compulsion to read TexAgs. We have learned that we must live without it to live normal, happy lives.

We are not against aggy misery and we have no wish to reform the world. We are not allied with any group, cause or religious denomination. We welcome new members, but we do not recruit them.

We do not impose our experience with aggy misery addiction on others, but we do share it when we are asked to do so. We know our own sobriety depends on connecting with other aggy misery addicts.
