Yeah. But my first meeting on my first day on the job at aTm was with Ro Simon. Sure, you’re not just talking outside of both sides of your mouth at all.

The high school coaches have to know? Or do they really not care either way as long as their kid is getting recruited?

i do it for all our players.

and for the 4 or 5 people here that actually want to discuss players, i'm happy to do it. otherwise 20 pages of posting screengrabs from 55 year old texags morons seems a bit redundant.

They'll be adding to their class. They'll take Ainas Smith, plus a crap LB and maybe one more.  They will get points for that bread. They'll keep their non-qualifiers in their commitment list for as long as possible to artificially keep their ranking.

I thought there was a point in the rankings where bread doesn’t help your numbers get raised?

It raises it a very small amount after a certain class size, correct.

I love the part where he references that Georgia almost snagged the calzone. It’s a narrative he crafted and not a single other entity confirmed or even hinted at when his crew floated it. Georgia wanted to win Zach Calzada the same way they wanted to win the line of scrimmage in the Sugar Bowl.

His list of last minute recruits was mostly a list of guys that found out they didn't have a spot elsewhere.

To be fair, TexAgs is clearly open to morons of all ages.

Adding high-quality players at this point has significant impact because the highest ranked guys can move the needle.  Just adding to the bottom of a class of 25+ does almost nothing because the marginal impact of a 25th player is very small.  I think Huck did an analysis of this on the old site.

I was counting Ainias Smith and Russell in their class in my scenario. They don’t move the needle.

This is too new, they are all going in different directions. They need time to settle on an excuse.

Uga and bama burning official visits to deliver anti aggy messages is my favorite, but no way they go with that one.

Don't ignore the value to them of the delusion that they are secretly feared as the sleeping giant who will awake and lay waste the college football landscape. They are hated because they are feared!

I wonder if this is a shot at FWK for losing Shepherd (assuming that’s actually the case). But I agree, there’s no way this guy keeps his recruiting on the up and up.

Haha, "the bulk" of Herman's big wins have been due to opponents' "disinterest." So now it's not just the Sugar Bowl...it extends to Herman's entire career; Herman can only beat good teams when they aren't interested in playing.

They can convince themselves of absolutely anything.

By the end of this year we’ll learn that LSU, UGA, and Clemson are only motivated when they play SEC West teams.

5:30 Looch and Brauninger bring up how Mizzou got popped with bowl sanctions, but "schools like Alabama and Texas" get away with improprieties.

10:30 Looch brings up a "hypothetical" IF Texas were paying players...  while saying some of the people that report for UT are scumbags who should stop covering recruiting.

22:00  Looch and Brauninger both confirm that Javonne is leaning back towards UT.

24:45 Looch tells us why he talks about Texas so much, in the righteously indignant way he does. Then talks about the impending downfall of Tom Herman because, "Texas will get something coming to them for tampering with Bru McCoy".

53:15 They gush about Calzone throwing the Horns down next to VY.

Their ranking is also being helped by at least one 4 star who will not qualify... and possibly 2.  Plus, there were rumors Blades was not going to qualify... but I suspect he will otherwise he would not have been allowed to sign.  Having a for sure non-qualifier occupy space in your class for perception purposes is one thing... allowing him to actually sign is another.

Wow, they must be really special if they can't get into A&M.

We don't have enough data from broken aggy to effectively compare or assess.  Broken aggy is all over the map right now, one day rankings don't matter, the next we're back to bomc grade inflation.

Tonight as we see they can't figure out how to spin Shepard.    aggy usually pivots en-masse and instantly.

Ryan Brauniger - "It's pretty spineless dude. There's no reciprocity amongst the issues when like you said. Different issues are penalized different. "

reciprocity

-the practice of exchanging things with others for mutual benefit, especially privileges granted by one country or organization to another.

Texas A&M education folks.

four years from now, this will be exhibit A to prove the fucked up cheat-at-all-costs mentality at aggy that got them a bowl perma-ban and scholarship reductions.  fucktard looch does his best to reason why cheating is actually a good thing.  all the big time schools cheat, right?  go ahead aggie.  fuck up again so we can enjoy your demise -- again.

Ha. He's still on the Herman is about to get fired trip. Also talking about how some of the people that cover recruiting for Texas shouldn't be covering recruiting is hilarious. I haven't listended yet, but I'm guessing that he sounded like he was sticking out his chest looking for a fight. Typical fake bravado.

TexAgs is tied directly to the 12th man foundation which is tied directly to the Aggy Athletic Dept. and has their offices directly across from the stadium and practice fields. I don't think that stupid fuck wants to draw more attention to his relationship with the Aggie Association of Former Students and he and his entire staff's status as boosters.

The crew covering Texas is, at best, flawed. But not in the ways that Looch thinks or says.

If not for the fact the replacements could be worse I'd love to have every analyst besides IT and TFB absolutely disappear.

"Texas fans are the most annoying, cowardly fanbase on social media..." Yeah, ok.gif.

There's nothing I say about aggy that isn't true. They have never won shit, yet they crow like King Kong Bundy.
