This fucking travesty of a win is going to be the biggest shot in the arm for A&M's recruiting. Fuck this bullshit. The "Jimbo's signature win" hot takes are already flowing thick and fast on ESPN. Fuck fuck fuckity fuck.

Holy fuck you are so terrified of aggy it is embarrassing. Dude, they just won a game that had shitty viewership, and that meant basically nothing. Yes, they will try and spin this as heroic proof that Jimbo is a god and he got his signature win, rife with controversial calls, but anyone who watched that game saw two bad teams play 5 hours of boring, shitty football. Meanwhile, Texas is playing for a fucking Conference Championship in Year 2 of the Tom Herman era. Stop fucking freaking out about aggy recruiting.

Naturally the NCAA is completely ignorant to this issue, but they have a REAL problem with officiating. Everyone hates every conferences officials, and while I know refs are never going to be the toast of the town, but this feels worse then its ever been and by a damn large margin.

ALL the officials suck. And bad. And in an age where they have more angles and technology to het it right than anytime in history, and yet there is no real push for officials to just “get it right.” The NCAA needs to invest serious time and money in training a new group of officials because the current crop are wildly incompetent and it seems like no one cares.

It’s just as bad in college basketball if not worse. Too many calls missed in critical situations that decide close games.

Beyond investing money and time they need to start holding refs accountable. If you miss a couple obvious calls you should be suspended. I rarely see college refs suspended and there’s plenty of calls to justify suspensions.

Calls like the onside kick in the Kansas game that aren’t even reviewed simply can’t happen. Especially when there are such important implications. Those type calls are just a blip on the radar in the mess that is college officiating.

This isn’t a good look:

http://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/25370822/kevin-faulk-lsu-involved-skirmish-texas-game

“COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- LSU director of player development Kevin Faulk was seen in an altercation with a credentialed member of the Texas A&M sideline after the Aggies' 74-72, seven-overtime victory over the Tigers on Saturday night at Kyle Field.

A photographer from the Baton Rouge Advocate captured a photo of Faulk in a scuffle with a man in a red Texas A&M shirt and a team credential. Thousands of fans rushed the field after the game, creating a chaotic scene.

An LSU spokesman alleged that the man involved in the scuffle with Faulk punched LSU special assistant Steve Kragthorpe in the chest. Kragthorpe, who was a once the offensive coordinator for the Tigers, has a pacemaker and has Parkinson's disease.

The spokesman said the team would gather more information before commenting further on the situation.

The man involved in the scuffle with Faulk was seen approaching Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher in the team tunnel after the game to inform him of the altercation. Fisher told reporters after the game that he was not aware of the scuffle and "had no idea" what happened.

An A&M spokesman said the team doesn't plan to comment until it reviews video of the incident.

Faulk, a former LSU and NFL running back, joined the LSU staff in January.”

This game doesn’t affect 2019 at all. Even if they had gotten killed, the bags were still gonna be handed out. They’re not having any decommits.

For real. It was a good home win that people will quit talking about by Monday because it’s Championship Week.

Now that Texas is back and with NFL offenses being more similar to Big 12 ones, did you all really think that the SEC wouldn't try to prop up ATM even just a little bit to save their conference's recruiting in the state? Aggy being allowed to go 7-6 on the season (and 3-6 against P5 schools) provides no benefit to their conference and likely just gives Texas the top recruiting class nationally in 2020 and potentially beyond.

Demetric Warren just put in a pick for Jeffrey Carter.  Looks like a flip to Bama'.

Well you can’t put a pick in for a guy to the place he’s already committed to, so it has to be a flip somewhere.

Think he visited Bama recently, so probably flip pick to the Tide.

I'd like to personally thank Jimbo's roided up nephew for punching a dude with a pacemaker, getting his ass beat by Kevin Faulk, and then tattling on him (with obvious physical reenactment) to uncle Jimbo in front of TV cameras, for cancelling out a whole lot of the positive buzz around this game.

I haven't seen anything "positive" that has come out of that game for aggy, outside of their own sycophants.  The media and public opinion seem to be mostly making fun of aggy.  IOW, normal shit.
