It still will not register when the LSU offense gets shut down by Orlando and our "shitty" Big 12 DL.

Yep.  And who can blame them when for years the only Big XII team that played their elites was OU and their feckless defense.  Like I always say, perception lags behind reality.  It's going to take multiple defensive beatdowns before the SEC fans will figure out that Texas is not OU.

I love how they keep saying they kicked our ass along both LOS, and we are being propped up by skill position talent.

Their OL class is entirely 1 prospect and 2 loaves of bread.

Jesus built quite an OL with 5 loaves of bread. Imagine what Jimbo can do with only 2 loaves.

It's hard to put on 40 good pounds in a college S&C program

But if a kid is already carrying those 40+ pounds because he put them on in high school, that's a good thing.

It's not that hard to put on 35 pounds over the summer...if you hit the gym real hard.

This shit is hilarious. These rubes and their incessant bitching about recruiting rankings. Consider:

(1) individual player ratings are numeric figures, and nobody would argue that they actually entail any sort of real precision;

(2) team rankings are basically the aggregate of individual player ratings...they may offer a bit more precision than individual player ratings because of the larger sample;

(3) the entire purpose of recruiting rankings (besides selling them) is to give a general idea of which teams are getting the most talented future players;

(4) thus, it could be reasoned that the only value in recruiting rankings (other than entertainment) is that they could be a component of forecasting future team success.

Now...given that the only thing that recruiting rankings actually do is provide a data point that may be useful in forecasting future success...why in the actual fuck would anybody grouse over the ratings of a few individual players to the point of near delirium?

If they are just venting because they believe so much in the ratings that the ascent of Texas up the chart has them convinced that Texas's future success is more assured, then I suppose I get why they are sour - they can't stand Texas success.

But their actual complaints seem to be that the ratings of a few Texas kids are undeserved - which should not affect their moods because the only use of rankings are as data points for forecasting anyway, and bad data would lead to bad forecasts...so it shouldn't matter, and who bitches this much about things that they truly believe don't matter?

They act like the recruiting ranking is the actual sport. Tail wagging the dog and what-not. Fucking fascinating weirdos.

For them, it is. This is the only way they can "measure" themselves compared to Texas. Their self-loathing and crippling insecurity is on full display here and is driving this hilarious shit show. They are so fucking desperate for the country to see them as an elite football program, that they will grasp onto any inkling of something they can spin as proof of their status as such. There is no fan base in the WORLD that celebrates meaningless "victories" as early and often as the Texas a$m aggy. #PimpCane

It’s also the only shot have at finishing in the top 5 in the country. They’ll never actual let win anything of real significance so recruiting rankings is all they’ve got. Thus, the desperation and misery when they get passed by us.

If Aggy can get a lead in anything at any point, they will use it to claim moral victory because they know they won't win the contest in the end.

Funniest points about Chin Pubes top 44.

1) No Tyler Owens. While Deondrick Glass and King Doerue are in his top 44.

2) Shepherd is ranked # 26. He was ranked much higher at one point. Shepherd probably deserved to be bumped down but who wants to bet Shepherd ends up in the top 15 in Liucci's rankings if he flips to aggy? This from the group of posters that bitch about bias when it comes to recruiting rankings.

3) Liucci has Layden Robinson at #38 in his rankings and Jalen Wydermyer at #21. Those are both laughably bad.

It's the "Jimbo would coach loops around Herman if they ever played" piece that happily forgot the Peach Bowl. It was posted around here somewhere.

Herman whipped Jimbo's ass in the Peach Bowl, with a less talented team at that. Aggy seems to overlook that fact.

 Sadly it’s not just aggys that think that way - look how long Kardell Thomas was ranked as the best OG in the country. That poor kid couldn’t even tie his own shoelaces, but because he was ‘NFL size’ you had Fans and evaluators thinking he was a top prospect.

Fat is fat, and no 17 year old not named Leonard Davisshould be 350 pounds.

aggy kind of reminds me of the time I broke up with a girl in high school.  We had the same friends, so we had to sit near each other at lunch.  She would go out of her way to let everyone know how happy she was and how many guys she talked to and how she was in such demand.  Everyone around her just snickered the entire time.  Joke was on her similarly to aggy.

LOL, all the national titles Texas has won was just bias and corruption and the media helping them win. Yes Texas has more National titles in one sport than we do combined in womens and mens sports BUT let's not focus on facts like that because at the bottom opf it all is a nationwide bias and corruption that only wants to promote Texas and the Texas fightin texum bulldog aggums! They have been clearly keep the aggy down since 1939 not letting them come up for air by falsely promoting and fixing games with bias and corruption.

I’m fine with the SEC underestimating Texas.

But it's an SEC-wide idiocy.  Think about how big and intimidating that Georgia O-Line appeared.  You remember that same OL that couldn't even get 80 yds on the ground?  Look at how many 320-330 lb OL LSU has.  Then look at the huge number of sacks and TFLs they surrendered.

It is like everyone has already forgotten what Russell Maryland showed regarding speed vs size.

Another piece of dogma at Texags is that, sure, Herman is a good underdog coach but that's not the same quality as coaching really good teams to victory. They really see logic in that.

I don’t think that is anything other than wishfully grasping at straws to maintain worldview.

If the trajectory keeps going up for Texas then A&M will be forced to play us. Not because we want to or they want to but because they will have to do it. If not, they’ll get left behind.

I don’t know how they came up with the theory that we need it. It’s ok tho, Texas will be playing LSU, Alabama, Ohio st and Michigan. We’ll have fun watching them trying to figure out why they aren’t NY6 bowl when they’re winning/losing against  fucking Colorado, north Texas and a Miami team with Diaz at the helm.

I love that Hand is looking for athletes on the OL and that he covets versatile guys who can play anywhere along the line. Hookfin is the prototype for what a high school OL should look like - and exactly why we should be RS’ing them.

Saw a tweet that said only one of the DL/OL invited to this year's Senior Bowl was over 300 lbs when they entered college. The best college players are putting on weight in a controlled S&C/Nutritionist environment, not coming in being able to get free meals by eating 72oz steaks.

Lulz. Tarp is going on dry on that moronic fan base. They’re so broken, he can’t take it. He’s being way too honest with them though. They can’t handle it, and I’m sure the Tarp’s not a real ag comments are coming soon.

The idea that burton has anything to do with the rankings is so laughable.

Those gomers want no part of OSU or TCU or Tech and in a couple of years Baylor.  Much less us or OU
