Which one? I've done some freaky shit. Personal incest not being one.

I was the the third in a mother/daughter combo. Those were the salad days.

I'd oblige a Piper/Parker Posey threesome....

And one of those has dragons and zombies and magic and shit.

(I ain't no prude but jerking off your brother during a Devil's Threesome should be jarring. This ain't ancient Rome.)

As long as there's no mother/daughter "interaction" during said encounter ...

My eyes were closed if/when it went that direction.

There was a dog. I think.

is this speculated because of the scenes of them both sleeping at the monastery and he's shirtless next to her?

Because I'm going to guess they're staying somewhere without AC in Thailand - that place is fucking hot and humid.

I think he comes clean about it to her - I don't think he's going to try to hook up with his sister now.  it's not THAT kind of show.

I'm not so sure.  Their vibe has also been weird all season.  She's way too clingy/needy toward a 3? year younger brother.

The Laurie, Jacklyn and Kate dynamic is the best part of the show.

Now we have Kate rushing to tell Laurie the tea, Jacklyn gaslighting Laurie and then Kate acting like she didn’t know the repercussions of spreading gossip.

Another good episode. Love the show. Performances are great across the board and the tension and uncomfortable feeling, with laughs mixed in, is so compelling to watch.

To nitpick, Rick’s scheme to get to the Hollinger house seemed a bit flimsy. I suppose playing into Sritala’s vanity/desire to perform is believable, but they have extra security yet can’t check IMDB or get any info about this director before he’s invited to the house? Maybe I’m forgetting Rick telling her it’s an under the radar project or something.

The monk in this episode was really good.  I felt bad for Tim in that scene.

Lori went hard this episode.

As a non-religious person facing their own approaching mortality I have found a certain comfort (for lack of a better word) in the idea that the atoms my body is made of come from exploded stars and when I die my atoms return to the universe to be reused.

The water metaphor deeply resonated with me and I'm not ashamed to say I teared up.

I also really related to that idea. I’d much prefer it over any god scenario (minus Zeus, because lightning bolts are cool) made up by humans.

I liked that too.  I've been experiencing frequent existential crises so hearing a positive metaphor for birth, life and death was refreshing.  Energy is never created or destroyed, only transformed.

A gay man vs a macho man. What else could you expect?

First off, not all gay men are effeminate. Secondly, according to Mike White's wiki profile, he's "openly bisexual." Third, the fact that you describe a guy with a girl's first name and a preposterously dyed beard as "macho" is really fucking funny when you've got to admit it seems like he's aggressively overcompensating for something. Fourth, Macho Man was a hit single by a group that played dress-up in tough, stereotypically "macho" outfits as an open display of masculine role-playing. Fifth, that band is apparently one of the favorites of a singular political personality who loves to portray himself as "macho" while pantomiming jerking off dicks to the gay anthem YMCA.

I'm not really making a point other than to say your post is hilariously absurd, which I really hope is what you were going for. If so, bravo. Well done.

I think he’s a simple grifter and drifter with a violent streak.  His emotions don’t reflect a wet works agent or contracting mercenary.

my wife and I rewound his lounge conversation with Sam and imagined them in his other characters.  What would Boyd do?  Baby Billy?  Lee Russell?  Shane vendrell?  Just classic.

Laurie is who I want to see an expanded role.  Coons has never looked better.

Monaghan looks fantastic.  Face and body.  She looks better in White Lotus than she did in True Detective 11 years ago. She must live in the gym.

Was she Woody's wife in S1, I don't recall her role/part?

Yes. She had dirty sex with Rust. Woody didn’t take it very well.

I think he was mostly upset because Rust mowed his yard.

If you haven’t already, you should listen to the White Lotus season 3 podcast. It’s great. Gives lots of insight and thoughts on each episode, plus interviews of all the main actors with their experience of making the show.

saxon is the shooter.

the family is in the middle of...whatever is going on, so it's going to come from them. he's dealing with a bunch of shit he already knows about (the jerk) and some he doesn't know about yet (shit with his dad) and he's clearly not emotionally equipped to deal with any of it.

it was also a weird turn when the chick he banged was like "my husband wants to meet you, come over" and everyone is thinking, no fucking way. then in the next scene he's like "we got invited to a dinner party!"
