Pretty sure I dated her at one point in my life. If it wasn't her it was her equally insane twin. I'm fortunate in that those sorts of women are drawn to me like flies to shit. #blessed

If you're almost halfway there then subdue, tie him, gag him and put him in the back galley. I need to start carrying an autoinjector of Ketamine and administer it on the sly if one of these a holes is on a flight of mine.

A police source said the man was released without criminal charges

WTF.....seems like once you cross the "tried to barge into the pilot's cabin" line, the threshold for criminal charges has been met.

After dealing with some wild shit on a recent trip out of the country with another family I think thc edibles are behind a whole lot of this crazy behavior. I legit thought I was witnessing a psychotic break. No signs of any type of intoxication but seeing shit that wasn’t there, perseverating and paranoid behavior, complete disinhibition. Took them to the resort’s doc in the box and we were ready to send by ambulance to hospital 2 hours away for stroke work up vs psych hold when my son texted me a pic of a bag of THC gummies and one of high thc delta 8 gummies. The doc was like oh yeah that’s it. Was over 24 hours before they were in their right frame of mind

THC is so concentrated these days it’s causing a lot of psych and other problems. Had to EMS transport a 5 yo that overdosed on her mom’s gummies and was nearly comatose in my clinic. She spent 3 days in the ICU. Another adult female patient was naked in our patient restroom trying to wash herself in the sink during a THC induced psychosis. (You don’t want pics). The THC availability and irresponsible use might explain a lot of the bizzare flight behavior.

I ate a "Space Cake" years ago on the train from Amsterdam to the airport.

My psychotic break consisted of staring out the plane window at the pretty clouds for 6 hours. Maybe a drool of spittle or two at most.

Anyway, still no excuse. Ban them from flying forever. Charge them for the lost cost of the airline. Charge them for assault. Edibles may be the reason, but that's not an excuse.

(Not implying that's what y'all were implying.)

Only one way to find out. Kind of like those professors at OU who fed Tusko the Elephant LSD until it died.

Depending on how many “years ago” this took place. I might’ve been on your same train ride, and flight. Going through the exact same thing.

US citizen shot dead after hijacking small plane in Belize

A US citizen hijacked a small Tropic Air plane in Belize on Thursday at knifepoint, injuring three others before being shot and killed, police said.

The assailant pulled a knife while the plane was in air, demanding the domestic flight take him out of the country, Police Commissioner Chester Williams told journalists.

The hijacker was identified as US citizen Akinyela Sawa Taylor, Williams said, adding that it appeared Taylor was a military veteran.

The plane circled the airspace between northern Belize and capital Belize City as the hijacking was underway, and began to run dangerously low on fuel, the police commissioner said.

Taylor stabbed three people on board, according to Williams, including the pilot and a passenger who shot Taylor with a licensed firearm as the plane landed outside Belize City.

That passenger was rushed to the hospital, as was Taylor, who died from the gunshot wound.

Williams said that it was unclear how Taylor boarded the plane with a knife, though he acknowledged that the country’s smaller airstrips lacked security to fully search passengers.

The attacker had been denied entry to the country over the weekend, according to police. The plane had been due to fly the short route from Corozal near the Mexican border to San Pedro, off the coast. Police said it was unclear how Taylor reached Corozal.

Belizean authorities have reached out to the US embassy in the country for aid in investigating the incident. Luke Martin, public affairs officer for the embassy, told journalists that it had no details on Taylor’s background or motivation so far.

According to information released by the airport, Taylor was a teacher in the United States. He was listed online as previously being a football coach at the McCluer North High School in Florissant, Missouri.

An employee at the school told Reuters that Taylor did not currently work there.

WTAH?

A United Airlines flight attendant called for security on an elderly disabled first class passenger who asked for assistance stowing her cane and small purse, since she’s not allowed to keep them with her for takeoff because she was seated in a bulkhead row.

A fellow first class passenger on the flight shares the incident.

An “elderly disabled” passenger seated at the first class bulkhead “politely asked the flight attendant if she could help put” up her “small purse and a fully collapsed” into the overhead bin.
The flight attendant “got super defensive and aggressive,".

The lady became apologetic, explaining that she “only asked because she’s disabled and can’t do it herself” and noted that she’s never had problems when making this request before.
The flight attendant didn’t let it go. She “kept insisting that lady was being unreasonable.” Fortunately another passenger stepped in to assist the woman in stowing her carry-ons. But the flight attendant “then angrily slammed the bins closed and stomped back to her jump seat.”

Hopefully that would have been the unpleasant end of it, but the flight attendant decided to delay the flight. The plane had already pushed back. It sat, though, for a few minutes before a pilot came on and announced that “there had been an incident and we’re heading back to the gate.”

Since it was obvious to staff who boarded the plane that there was no threat, they left and did not remove the elderly disabled passenger. This was awkward for the flight attendant, who “then gave the safety announcement in the most eerie, overly cheerful, almost sociopathic-sounding voice.”

The idea that the flight attendant was prohibited from helping by ‘union regulations’ is just incorrect. The flight attendant’s union contract may be what the crewmember is referring to, but it definitely does not say they cannot help with the cane.

Flight attendants generally aren’t required to assist passengers with their bags, however Department of Transportation regulations actually do require the airline to provide the assistance that the passenger was asking for!

Once a passenger with a disability has boarded, airlines must provide assistance, if requested, such as:

  • moving to or from the lavatory, including using an on-board chair to assist, if requested.
  • stowing and retrieving carry-on items, including assistive devices.

This flight attendant is everything that’s wrong with airline culture, and why in many ways Delta crews whle not as good as they were pre-pandemic (too many good ones left, and their replacements aren’t up to par) are the heart of the ‘Delta Difference’. Their flight attendants are somewhat friendlier and more helpful – treating passengers as people.

It’s important to note that this isn’t necessarily a union versus non-union result, as some online commenters suggest keying off of the flight attendant’s reported claim about union rules. Southwest Airlines crew are generally quite good and also unionized. There’s a saying, though, that management ‘gets the unions they deserve’ and decades of bad management at United is difficult and time-consuming to reverse, doubly so in a unionized environment.

Southwest Airlines Passenger Strips Naked Then Poops on Seat

 Summarize

April 27, 2025 by David Jones

A Southwest Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Chicago was disrupted when a female passenger reportedly disrobed and defecated on her seat as the plane was landing. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, prompted police to be called to Chicago’s Midway Airport upon the arrival of flight 418.

The shocking behavior of the passenger left fellow travelers in disbelief. Southwest Airlines has since reached out to those onboard to apologize for the incident and any resulting travel delays. The airline issued a statement emphasizing the importance of customer and employee safety and commending the professionalism of the flight crew.

The airline did not provide details about what happened to the passenger following the incident. However, the plane was taken out of service for cleaning, as per standard procedure in such cases.

This incident is not the first time Southwest Airlines has made headlines in relation to Chicago’s Midway Airport. Last month, a more serious incident occurred when a Southwest jet landing at the airport narrowly avoided a collision with a taxiing jet. The National Transportation Safety Board attributed the near-miss to possible sun glare.

Southwest Airlines, known for its commitment to customer service and safety, has assured passengers that it is taking the necessary steps to prevent such incidents in the future. The airline’s swift response to both incidents underscores its commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for its passengers and crew.

The airline’s handling of these incidents serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of air travel and the importance of maintaining safety and professionalism in the face of unexpected challenges.

How often do passengers take a dump on their seat that there’s a standard procedure for such cases?

Dogs shit in the planes daily. I once operated a flight with a mystery turd. It’s was just there in the aisle after everyone deplaned. No dogs or cats were on that flight.

A Lufthansa Airbus A380 flying from Los Angeles to Munich had to divert to Boston this week after a passenger lost their tablet in the structure of their business class seat.

...

Data from Flightradar24 shows that the A380 landed in Boston at 02:41 local time, by which time, as Lufthansa's spokesperson informed Simple Flying, "the device had already shown visible signs of deformation due to the seat's movements." After the aforementioned work by Lufthansa Technik staff in Boston, the aircraft took off again just over 90 minutes later, reaching Munich three hours late.

Please feel free to hammer me if I'm supporting the patriarchy, but of late it seems more and more of the extreme nutty stories are primarily female.

Honestly, am I off on that perception or is it accurate?
