Also saw he was born the year before Oklahoma was made a state. Can we find a constitutional basis for giving everyone that was alive at the time a vote on whether to unwind that whole deal?

Saw a video somewhere earlier and that dude has all his faculties.  He needs to write a firsthand book about some of the ish he’s seen.

HBT!

I love this guy.  Fuck thieves.

When the weather is nice, Overton sits on his front porch. His friends call it his "stage." He'll hum with the birds, snoop on his neighbors and wave at honking cars. Best of all, it's where he smokes most of his 12 daily cigars, and sometimes drinks his favorite drink, a whiskey and Coke.

Not a fun bump.

Mr. O just needs better-looking nurses to snap him out of this shit.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — WWII veteran and longtime Austinite Richard Overton is in the hospital with pneumonia, his family said.

The 112-year-old is the oldest living veteran in the United States and celebrated his latest birthday in May.

His cousin, Volma Overton Jr., said Richard went to the hospital Wednesday with pneumonia and has not been able to leave.

"He needs everybody's prayers," Volma Overton Jr. said, adding that last time Overton was hospitalized in August, everyone's prayers worked.

That's a funeral we should all attend.  But I bet he's got another two years left in him.  I'm gonna have a whiskey tonight before my prayer for him...

Prior to WWII, Armybrat was over Underton even thought he was under Dunne

And long before WWII, they both served valiantly over Macho Grande.

But seriously, let’s send out good vibes tonight into the universe for Richard.

He just keeps treating pneumonia like some nazis and kicks it ass every time he sees it.

it really is crazy.  how many hospitals across the country have discharged someone over 100 years old after getting past pneumonia.  I doubt it’s many.

I seriously doubt there was a code for it on the discharge papers.  In fact, there's not even a box.  They just stamp it "BADASS" and give him a plastic bag with his personal effects and walk him to the uber pickup area.

And there is no such thing as pneumonia for 112 year old WWII vet discharge codes, only a list of shit Overton has beaten the fuck out of and taunted over whiskey and cigarillos.

A vivacious blonde 35 year old friend from SoCal who was an active mom, loving wife & party gal came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized. After one night there she decided to check herself out (hated hospitals) the next morning, went home and posted some on our Las Vegas message board, then died in her sleep that night. RIP Monique.

Best wishes for Mr. Overton.

Watched the news this morning and when they said his name I was bracing for the news he had passed, but fuck no, he's going fucking home.  So badass.

I cringe a little every time this thread bumps. Glad he got over on it this round

From his GFM site...

Hello everyone, today, Christmas Eve, Richard was released from the hospital and moved to a rehab facility. There is hope that he will regain his strength and be able to do the things that he would like to do. You all need to know just how thankful Richard and his family is for your love, prayers and for the wonderful blessings you are to him during this time of difficulty. Each one of your prayers, comments, gifts and thoughts have been apart of the difference for him and we are so thankful. Peace, Blessings and Love to all!
