But you’ll still vote for Abbott. The most pathetic, unprincipled cuck, beholden to his masters and giving zero fucks about the people of Texas….and you’ll help him win, easily.
Au contraire mon frère.

I am not an Abbott fan in this race. Abbott is Liz Cheney in a wheelchair. Texas deserves a strong governor. Not a rollover.

Now you on the other hand will definitely vote Beta and make multiple excuses to fit your talking points and the luxury of your beliefs.

I pledge not to support Wheelie if you pledge not to support Beta.

Yeah….no. Greg Abbott literally doesn’t care if Texans die, and he doesn’t have to.

The same can be said about the Texans who would vote for him again.

Don Huffines just seems like he has one of those little lipstick/red rocket penises like my miniature schnauzer had and it comes out whenever he tweets re: Abbott.

"Abbott is Liz Cheney in a wheelchair"--wow.  I don't agree with anything Cheney says on policy but at least she cares more about her values than herself.  Abbott is a pandering tool who does not stand for anything but his own re-election.  I don't give a shit who is running against him in the general, I will vote for him.  Fuck Hot Wheels.

LOL @ you guys that still vote.

I hope you are just funning. If not, very disappointed. Like lotto, you have to be in it to win it.

Pretty on point comparison. Only people bad at math and poors play the lotto on a regular basis. And maybe someone from time to time willing to take a flier for entertainment.

So is this CRT? Just unclear what it is.

When our power grid fails again this winter, that might have some effect on the outcome. Right?

It probably won’t because that was a once in a decade or even generation type of widespread, hard freeze event.

But no, I legitimately wouldn’t expect it to even if it did. The winning majority in this state is MAGA and status quo loving, fear motivated suburbanites who are susceptible to the GOP’s baiting on CRT and the like.

I'm interested to hear how Beto walks back the proclamation of taking folks' guns away.

Public/Private independent commission on sensible gun safety laws with recommendations to the legislature for enactment is more efficient.

He would win if he emphasized the O'Rourke. The Texas Scots love their bog jumper kinfolk.

Can someone explain to me what exactly CRT is? I’ve been hearing a lot about it and it’s got me worried but I’m confused about what it is?

Exactly.

To the GOP it’s just a buzzword to drum up fear

This. When y’all grasp that the literal Jesus Christ could return to earth and run for Texas office as a Dem….he would lose by 6-8 points, after being lambasted as a commie socialist heretic.

What’s the old saying?  If Jesus Christ had a D next to his name, he better have a helluva tax cut plan.  Something of that sort I’ve heard before.

I dunno. I heard Jesus mightn’t or might be in favor of CRT but nobody will tell me what it is. So hard to tell.

every man woman person of principle who realizes Abbott is the epitome of a RINO should do this for the good of their conscience not to mention to save the great state of Texas from further fake-conservative ruin. #HuffinesforTX

It's a perspective to consider when examining history of systems in scholarly work.

It was used as a lens to view legal systems (scalable) in legal theory originally.

Cultural conservatives call it COMMUNISM!!!

As used today, it is a conservative tactic to spook the sleepwalking herd. They are afraid of what is in the imaginary CRT box.

Liz's values are built around war mongering. And the money, power that comes with it.

She is just as useless as Abbott when it comes to things that matter.

If the power grid failing earlier this year isn't going to change the election, the power grid failing this winter won't either. It's simply another topic that will be politicized and 99% won't bother researching what actually transpired. GOP voters will have their democratic  boogeyman to attack on the issue and vice versa.

Its similar to how after each sickening gun violence rampage people will say  "this tragedy will be the one that finally results in legislative change". Lulz.

Just kicked in a few bucks to Beto. He'll lose, but I made my voice heard. Who knows, the R's will be in full shit slinging mode during the primary and maybe something comes out that will stick.

Rs will blame it on green energy and Democrats and it will work, despite this state being run by Republicans for at least 20 years.

The only “tragedy” that would change this race would be a winter FAFO COVID-cull of right wingers.  Not that anyone hopes for that, of course.  Just saying…

Kick some to your local State Rep and State Senator and maybe Collier if that is in play.

Not sure if Jaworski has a shot.

Beto's going to get his $$$.
