Gotta be at a water polo tourney at 8:30, multiple games

Ah, yeah. Always hated when water polo tourneys got in the way of football on Saturday.

I hope the Bruins drag their sweaty balls across the chin of LSU. I hope it's never even a contest. Why? Because it will make it that much sweeter when LSU sticks their whole arm up the ass of Aggy. They have never beaten LSU at Death Valley, so it's time for another curb stomping.

Saw some of these mouth breathers wandering around near Cal Tech yesterday. Purple and gold from head to toe. Looking for horse paste, I presumed.

"So I showed them around campus and they were amazed at how nice everything looked and said their campus doesn't even compare. They were especially impressed with our hall of champions and how spacious it was. Then I took them to our tailgate and gave them beer and burgers. When it was almost time for kickoff my whole tailgate entourage escorted them to the stadium and showed them where their seats were. As we said good bye they told us they bleed tiger blood but they'd be proud to send their kids here..."

OK, starting this now because I will have limited opportunities to chime in tomorrow.  Gotta be at a water polo tourney at 8:30, multiple games, then the boy and I need to rally to the Rose Bowl.

this is Chip’s opportunity to win a signature game.  UCLA has 20 returning starters, 10 on each side, but most importantly we have hogs up front, which is where offenses are made or lost.  The reality is we go as far as our wildly inconsistent QB, DTR, takes us.  He needs to be on the move, and make smart decisions against NFL caliber DB’s.  But we absolutely can hang with these guys.  And we can win.  Whether we do or not may dictate the future of this program.  Should be glorious at the Arroyo Seco tomorrow. Hot but a later start.   I hope and trust we have the surl behind us.  Please tell me you ain’t rooting for Cletus the slack jawed Cajun.

Go Bruins!

we also have 20 returning starters, and they are going to beat your 20 returning starters like a fucking rented mule.

Bunch of those starters just got cleared to play two days ago.....and you've got two rookie coordinators.

Sorry, Bruin it’s going to be like a LSU home game and they’re going to beat your team silly. Literally all of my LSU friends have made the trip and they expect at least 40,000 LSU fans to make the game. The Rose Bowl is smart and they have allowed alcohol sales for the first time in preparation for the Louisiana onslaught.

2 is a bunch?  huh…

we’re full go for smash.

honestly, what shocked me is that there’s zero 5 star players and only 12 4 stars on UCLA’s entire roster…the rest are 3s and 2s.

that’s Central Michigan level talent.

I wouldn’t mind if UCLA won, and I think it’s amazing that they have a WR from Dripping Springs who gets a few touches every now and then.

Also, having to knock out a water polo tourney before the game is the most PAC 12 west coast thing ever.

I do worry about that.  Sitting on the “sunny side”, which means I’ll likely be surrounded by their unvaxxed COVID asses.

Wrong.  Don’t take last week as a metric.  There will be a good crowd today.

Should outnumber Bruins fans easily in the RB.

Go Bruins!

Fellow Bruin alum, here. Looking forward to seeing a full Rose Bowl and, yes, to a big signature win for Chip.

Well, apparently there is a water polo tournament this weekend.  Toss in the Catalina wine mixer and your day is pretty much booked.

LSU -2.5, not like anyone is expecting a run away,  or shouldn't at least. Coach O is the dad who builds a swing set and has a bunch of parts leftover. He has all the pieces, he needs a lot of help putting it together. Not sure he has the help anymore.

You gotta figure he has to get one eventually.

I love California!

Farmers’ markets, a canyon hike, maybe a quick trip to the beach after brunch…

I love California.  Get out there a couple of times per year.  I was just mocking our resident Bruin.  I’ll be cheering for the fightin Chip Kelly’s today.

Man, UCLA fans actually think they’ve got a shot in this one. Y’all are really setting yourself up for disappointment. Hawaii was dog shit and DTR still can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

you forgot the part where they were actually rooting for UCLA by the time the game started.

There will be a full house today.  Now, how many of them will be UCLA "fans" remains to be seen.  UCLA did a promo deal for this game, and gave a free ticket to any high school kid that wanted one.  And let any high school kid buy additional tickets for non high-school friends/family for 20 bucks a seat.

I'm sure some of those kids will root for UCLA.  Some will be football fans in general.   Some will just be there because they have nothing better to do.

So the audience should be a hodge-podge of general LA area HS students? If you’re not into scoring GHb, that has a high probability to make for a shitty afternoon
