There’s still 8 minutes of hell left.

I wonder how Sark will spin this beat down?

We have some wins left in us over the season, but, yeah, jesus, this sucks.

Back to the torture.

JFC, and we’re going the SEC. This program is a joke. It’s going to take an exorcism to clean all the shit from this team.

SEC has nothing to do with this.

In the grand scheme of the universe, this loss isn't that big a deal.

Except if we run the table win the rest of the games on our schedule and big 12 then the playoff committee looks at our resume and says "Y'all lost to fucking Arkansas Lol"

But that won't happen. Here's to making it to the Big 12 championship somehow.

You squeaked out a victory at the last minute against ECU. Shane Beamer is your coach. You're not SC, and you're not Carolina. You're UofSC and you're not going to win a single secsecsec game this year.

nvm

did Herman ever shit the bed this bad?

I’m no Herman fan, but his teams at least were never thoroughly dominated like this. His teams were always in the game, sometimes to a fault. But we didn’t get blown out like this.

To try and add a bit of hope the a fucking dumpster fire, I can remember a season when Texas had a disappointing two game start. Or maybe it was just one bad game. Bill Bradley moved from QB to the secondary and James Street stepped in and won about 21 straight games... or something like that.

The real problem might be a coach who couldn't see the difference between Thompson and Card.

Stop. Just stop.

The Notebook here

I quit watching before the half, watched about two minutes of Arkie's second drive.

I'm just watching the thread.  It's the only thing entertaining about Texas Football and has been for years.

Tom Herman’s worst loss was 17 points in his first year. 12 points was second worst

So fucking glad I bailed in 1st quarter, you folks are tougher than me. Fuckin masochists. Another example of Sabin “disciples” shitting the bed it sounds like. Fucking sucks, I was hopeful this time around.

Oh well, maybe next coach

Casey looks like a baller.  How did he not win the job?

Because Sark was determined to fit a square peg in a round hole. Card is absolutely impotent without a strong pocket.

When you get beat so badly in the trenches, have to wonder where the positives are?  Should've known it was bad when we're talking up Freshman offensive linemen.  The qb is green but the offensive line couldn't hold and when it could, Card couldn't get out of his own way. Casey is more decisive but it's too little too late and not until all hope was lost with Card.  Just failed at mostly all phases, except rb, who was never given daylight.

Maybe these guys should stop getting paid for interviews and study the playbook and lift weights more

I've been convinced for years we lift those fake weights they display in stores

Real lack of talent on D.  Be real and think about Jacoby Jones, Luke Brockermeyer, David Gbenda, Brendan Schooler, BJ Foster, Anthony Cook...and how integral their positions are to what the DC wants to do.  Think about those players and try to imagine why playing a Line that is all 300+ that ISNT FAT, with big receivers that love to block.  Way too many weak spots for a decent game plan with balanced personnel to exploit.  OTOH, how do you get on track vs a strong line and good linebackers, when you have CJones, Okafor, Angilau playing like little pussies, while counting on green receivers.  Whittington just can't be your #1 guy.  He's a Swiss army guy to use creatively while your main WRs draw attention.  This team this year is in full rebuild
