And shitty tailored jerseys.

I smell defeat brought by one of your own. Just like y’all had fun when McCain derailed plans to rollback Obamacare, we on the right are enjoying the same happening to y’all.

2022 & 2024 are going to be a cakewalk for the GOP. What is going to be funny is the walking back of the “this might be the last midterm/Presidential election of our lifetime” lunacy that will get dropped to gin up support after the losses occur.

Overall, I found the Build Back Better ideals to be over-reaching and I’m not surprised that it’s being cancelled. I also don’t believe it was only Manchin pushing back. I would bet at least 5-10 other Dem senators felt the same but are happy to let manchin take the heat.

biden was elected to not be trump. He doesn’t need to attempt an FDR, LBJ or Obama level social program.

Overreaching in what ways, specifically?

One bill that addresses free childcare, climate change, some level of reduced/ free college, lower prescription costs, middle class tax breaks, etc, etc.?  It would have been a monstrosity that no one would have fully understood until years after it passed.

there is nothing stopping Biden from tackling each issue one at a time. Biden was going after every legislative issue that Dems care about individually when he doesn’t even have a full majority in the senate. It was doomed to fail. Perhaps Biden even planned it that way so he can say he tried. He now owes no one anything.

go after the tax breaks for the middle class and add higher taxes for the rich.

Yeah, bucking the party worked so well for the Dems in swing seats in 2010.

Dems weren’t a party with a significant amount of Marxists back then.  That’s changed.

The difference is, the Democrats are going to pass a bill.

Ok, tough guy.  You are seriously completely delusional.  Manchin is voting with the money, NOT his constituents.  And eventually, voters will figure that out.  It sounds like some Democrats have finally figured out the messaging to put the screws to him.  Good.

I find it telling that you are against infrastructure and helping the American people, but are totally for corporate welfare and tax cuts for billionaires.  Tells me all I need to know about you.

How about we start with Blumenthal.

https://nypost.com/2021/12/15/democratic-sen-richard-blumenthal-gives-communism-a-boost/amp/

Blumenthal said he was “excited and honored” to speak at the awards ceremony for the Connecticut People’s World Committee, an open Communist Party affiliate. Indeed, the event celebrated the 102nd anniversary of the Communist Party USA as it explicitly aimed to recruit new CPUSA members.

of course when called out afterwards he did his best

Of course you won't take his word for it, so we'll move on.  Blumenthal is a card-carrying Marxist (except he's not).  Next?  Remember, Johnny Sack claimed a "significant number of Marxists".

Come on, let's go.  I want to see at least one of you defend this ridiculous assertion.

All you Dems have managed to do is pivot this country's collective asshole towards the middle east so they can go in dry instead of working towards energy independence. The need of fossil fuels will only end through technological advancement free of government interference, not because sleepy Joe or horse-teeth AOC trying to pass mandates and deadlines. Stupid fucks and the stupid fucks that support them

It's got to be hard taking a collection of facts and drawing the exact wrong conclusion from them.

We Dems want to energy independent without fossil fuels.  Imagine that.

...and in case you really think the guy who increased socialism to the agricultural sector to compensate for his trade war with China/Ivanka's Business Partners actually gives any/more fucks about Communism v Capitalism than he does about Authoritarianism, his SPECIFIC complaint about the latter days of the old Soviet Union is that they weren't authoritarian enough.

from same link...

""Their system is a disaster," Trump said. "What you will see there soon is a revolution; the signs are all there with the demonstrations and picketing. The funny thing is that the people that BBB would help most are the ones that are most against it. WV is like the 2nd poorest state in the nation, with thousands of people living below the poverty line.

These are policies and programs that benefit people in this country who are more often than not, an afterthought when it come to tax policy There is nothing honorable about going slowly when the needs of common people are urgent. You wanna talk monstrosity? Let talk about an unfunded two trillion dollar tax cut that benefited mostly the wealthy in this country.

You are not on the right. There is no right anymore. There is the GQP and then everyone who isn’t GQP which, to make it simple for you, is everyone trying to head this monstrosity off because it is in the best interests of this country to do so.

Please get your life in order and do something to help others instead of what you currently put out into the world. The negativity just radiates in your posts.

Don’t think Manchin will be winning plaudits from the 4th Estate as a “profile in courage” for bucking his party; that designation is only feted for spineless RINOs. Having your own version of John McCain throwing a wrench in your party’s platform sucks doesn’t it.

I am sure Joe Biden, with his stellar record of leadership and competence, is getting ready to turn this all around. He and Kamala claimed they would shut down the virus.  They’re kicking all sorts of ass.

Getting away from the trolls, this is really striking:

Manchin really can’t argue that he’s representing his constituents here.

Now poll the actual specifics of the plan.  Polls like that are meaningless bullshit.  No one polled could tell you a thing about the bill.

Start with its amnesty provisions.  That 80% of West Virginia opposes.
