Look at Roy throwing some blocks

It's annoying how much VY split time with Chance fuckin Mock that year and even into '04.  It was obvious right away Vince was special.  And save me the Tech comeback...if left in, VY would have won that game too.

I don't fault Vince for doing it... Quite the opposite honestly but it seems like stolen valor for the SEC to do it. I don't remember the B12 claiming Earl Campbell.

Vince came and played flag football with a dozen neighborhood kids last weekend as part of a charity auction. He was great. Still carrying around that VY energy on the field.

This is the run that came by our front row seats and left me and a friend looking at each other in open mouthed amazement.  Never will forget it.

19 years ago... a guy named vince personally beat the greatest armies in the world along with the Jedi Council on his way to staking his claim as the greatest college football player ever....

and finished it off with a 2 point dive up the middle of the line to give a USC cheerleader so much excitement she became a meme for a decade

0:26 is such an underrated moment. I've probably posted this before but it's worth mentioning again. Very rarely in life do you achieve something incredible that will talked about generation after generation and know it in the moment. That slow walk back to the sideline as he carries the burden of every Texas fan for the last 30 years. Heavy lies the crown sort of thing. Truly incredible.

This 4th and 18 run against Kansas to save the game was the first time a lot of people noticed VY. We lose this game and no Rose Bowl against Michigan that year.
