Really want to watch the BBC version now, but I don't want to spoil the whole US season. This is one of the most creative comedies in a long time, but it's really an old concept brilliantly updated.

I actually stumbled on the US version first while catching up on the latest Star Trek stuff on Paramount+, which led me to this, so now I'm watching the BBC version on HBOMax. I think there is enough variety between the two that one won't ruin the other. They're both pretty good.

Love the BBC version.  My hipster self doesn't want to invest in the CBS version

Do it, it's different enough that it stands on it own after the pilot episode.

This. I finally caught a few of the BBC episodes and can see the similarities, but also the huge difference. Its like the UK and US versions of The Office. Both are brilliantly funny.
