It’s funny that some of you fuckers think PK, who put multiple defensive players in the first round of the nfl draft, wants to trot out bush, brockermeyer, or schooler. That’s the reality of the dumpster fire herman left for us. He did it on offense too. Our WR’s and o-lineman run the same 40 times. They also do the same amount of 225 reps. They’re all piss. Worthy is our only legit receiver. You take away bijan and overshown, this team would struggle to win the division II national championship.

Because they have players who fit their scheme and have been in it for years.  They have better athletes who fit their offense and defense.

God forbid you would adjust to the players you have.

Sadly, I don't even have the energy anymore to even be mad about today's outcome.  Just utter disappointment, which is sadly expected after 10 years of mediocrity.  Probably only going to about halfway pay attention to the rest of the season from this point.

Hopefully Sark can light up the recruiting trail and replace the wet paper bags we have on the O-Line with an actual line.

This game was a difference of 2 plays.  There is no way the OU WR made that catch when he went put of bounds on his own. The reds blew that call.  Worthy bringing the kickoff from 8 yards deep was stupid and cost us another 7.  We lost and it sucks but there is no way recruits watched that game and didn't see an opportunity.

There were at least two holds, probably three, that I saw on that play alone.

And leave it to Herbie to give kudos to the wide out on the amazing "block".

Amazingly, for the first time ever, I think, one of the commentators said "A lot of opposing coaches complain about holding by OU that is never called."  Might have been Herbstreit, dunno, wasn't paying that close attention.

When a game of inches is won by literal inches it hurts more. Was that a fumble by the OU RB? Damn close. Several catches that were damn close. It stings. How does Williams look when a team has a week to prep for him? We may get to find out again later this season.

Other than the run out of bounds catch (and refusal to call holding on OU but that's nothing new), they got all the calls right.  They were all close and all went the other way.

This. I think we have the right coaches, they’ve just got to get players in here. 48 points against a good OU defense with that o-line is pretty amazing.

Failed to even review a fumble that was called incomplete pass

The 2nd half playcalling is grounds to get fired for sure. Was an absolute shit show. All we needed to do was sustain some drives. Did not even do that, We ran when we absolutely should not have, which was the first 2 plays after the big pass play after OU took the lead. And we did not run when we needed to, when they were blitzing the hell out of us.

Didn't do any of the short out passes behind the line that would have burned OU on their rush.  Casey also refused to pass to Bijan in the flats when he had a chance.  He was uncovered 2 or 3 times and Casey went long.

A lot like the 2002 game with ou finding their running game in the 2nd half with that short guy "q".

21 points is a lot. 18 point is a lot, especially late in the 3rd. O line sucks, d sucks, but this game was winnable.

Real head scratcher.  Tulane held these guys to 40.

We adjusted to get Jett bush on the field…what more can we expect. Also I want to die

Jett Bush is the culmination of Mack’s lazy end of tenure coaching that just kept compounding until he’s what was left to Sark 3 coaches later

Tulane got fucked by the refs worse than we did.

You must not have watched the game. If you had, you'd know they were selling out to stop the run and it worked.

Agree with you T. I do wonder why we stopped those innovative quick toss motion sweeps.  Our first couple of series we had OU confused. In second half everything seemed like straight handoff with the occasional counter. Plus Still wonder why so little  KRob.

Herbie said it after they were finally called for holding.

God forbid you sometimes just lose to better athletes.....

That was an incredible catch by (forget his name, probably from texas]. and it sealed it

OTOH play at least 3 drives of defense and things are very different.
