And? Ketch is a fat fucking retard that doesn’t know shit about fuck. I’m embarrassed for you for admitting to listening to him

So your strategy is not to admit to listening to him since clearly you had to listen to him to come to your conclusion. I agree with you by the way but when rubbing salt in the wounds one goes all out.

We’ll know more about Sark after 2027. He needs to grow from this. Hope Arch works out.

I think we still need a bruiser portal back. Not sure how much Baxter will have recovered.

Baxter was also going down pretty easy and hardly breaking tackles the first half of the season last year, his YAC was terrible..  If he reverts back to that after injury he won’t be what we imagine in our head.

I’ve never listened to him, I trust the surly brain trust on things like this.

Yes, considering we had an inconsistent and out of rhythm offense for the vast majority of the season, a top 4 finish is great.

Now it's time for our offensive minded HC to seriously address and fix the issues on offense.

That’s one thing I’d credit OSU for.  Ryan Day probably kept his job by getting Chip Kelly to help.

Very frustrating way to end the season especially since it seems to be a recurring issue with sark, but if you had told me 4 years ago that to end the 2023 season we would be throwing to the end zone to win a spot in the finals and the next year had first and goal to tie at the end of another semifinal I would have called you crazy

We just need to keep adding talent and depth. If sark does some introspection in the offseason that’s gravy

Sark isn’t winning shit here with his subpar coaching staff of nobodies and overall hardheadedness on offense regarding play calling.

It’s going to suck watching us waste Arch Manning next year. Without him lucking into a championship D this year, this team loses 5-6 games. That’ll be next year.

Exactly how unprecedented do you expect the depth and talent to get?  We’re pretty much there.

How did he luck into the defense?

Yeah I find it funny when people say stuff like “PK and the defense saved his ass!”.

Part of the job of being a head coach is hiring good assistants and managing them. When you hire Seth Littrell or Ted Roof as your coordinator, you don’t look as good as a head coach!

I really see conference championships becoming exhibition games if they keep this playoff format.

Bond aggravated his ankle injury and Cam injured his knee for us and Georgia lost Beck and their all America punter for the rest of the year

On the drive down from Dallas today I listened to On Texas Football and Fat Ketch post games and Fat Ketch said something that is worse then what I thought happend. Last night I was talking about how Mackovic practiced roll left until it was perfect in case he needed it. I mentioned that Sark did nothing of the sort only to have Ketch say there is no way the sequence of plays that Sark called were not the best two plays in his bag and he probably had the team practice them repeatedly in case they found themselves on 1st and goal from the one.

Geoff Ketchum is a stupid, fat fuck.

I think Sarkisian has done a really good job making hires. Jackson and Baker were outstanding additions. Poaching Nansen after Choate left to become a HC was really good!    He needs to fire his play caller and hire one. That is currently the weakest position on this staff.

I normally hate hypothetical conversations, but it’s the offseason so fuck it lets get it goin. Let’s say Sark does decide to give up play calling. Who do we think would be on the short list of candidates for that spot? Is there anyone out there that has crossed paths with Sark at some point that would be a homerun hire?

Not sure but playing in the conference championship game and losing is the worst case scenario. Ohio State and Notre Dame ended up getting the same benefit we did with a home game in the first round and didn't need to play championship week to do it.

He will need to identify a candidate that has a system similar to his or identify a system that he likes as a HC. The candidates would depend on which route he chooses to go I believe.

He led us to a great season, he has the machine running, and he can get us back to the promised land. He also struggles calling red zone plays and the toss play was fucking stupid as fuck. All those things can be true

Well it’s truly fucked now

Look, I’ve been pretty adamant that I don’t think he should give up playcalling. It’s his biggest value add and there zero guarantee handing that off makes him a better overall head coach.

The thought of him being able to do more game management is also kind of ironic because head coaches get most involved in stuff like short yardage, 4th down calls, important playcalls, etc, so if you are pissed at that stuff now is that going to change? It also creates the possibility of a revolving door of playcallers because what if the guy he picks leaves for another job in 2 years? Is he going to start doing it again? Trust someone else? What happens the first time the offense struggles?

With that said, I do acknowledge getting over the final hump is always the most difficult and often requires the biggest leap so I understand those that are wanting it. Maybe there is a middle ground where he can get an assistant, analyst or special assistant with an offensive playcalling background to get a different voice in the room and bring new ideas.

Eli Reinhart would be a homerun hire and also wouldnt necessarily be seen as stepping on Sark's toes. But we won't do that and in a few years he'll be someone else's hot young offensive coordinator

you don't have to worry.  He is never giving up playcalling.   OK, never say never but he is sober and at a blue blood destination stop for the first time, he is going to have to have a life altering epiphany to believe he can't win it all unless he gets a separate playcaller.

I just hope PK can keep the D rolling because that is what will win us an NC.  the shine is officially off Flood.

I can’t remember if it was last offseason or the one before but I think they explored adding several high school coaches to the support staff.

Excited for the Arch era to begin at Texas. Season ended about how I expected which is a great season but losing the last game always sucks.  I had come to the conclusion early in the year that this was not a NC team, especially on the offensive side.  They couldn’t just steamroll teams like 2005 for instance.  Felt like that would bite us at some point. Fun season #1 in the SEC. Feel like we gained a little respect from the hillbillies in the conference.  And stunted on aggy.
