If card plays this game he gets sacked 10 times.

Casey didn’t drop all those passes.

That’s not the point.  He just might.  But he’s not getting any better on the bench.  I like Casey, I wanted him to start from the beginning.  But I’ve seen them both and ultimately Card is the better QB.  This offensive line is t changing in a year, so Card needs to figure out how to play with pressure.  Can’t do that with a clipboard

If basketball doesn’t work it proves it’s a UT/Austin issue.

No, it doesn't. It's not a UT/Austin issue. That's silly. UT and Austin were exactly the same when Mack Brown had this program at its best.

It's coaching and player development.

This is such a fucking stupid take. Thompson is a bad QB, there is enough tape to see it. The amazing thing is that Sarkisian's offense is so good that it covers a lot of his very apparent deficiencies.

Sam and we blow out OU/OSU/Baylor.  Look at how many open guys we had who we didn't throw to.

We're going to blow out KU and KSU.  Maybe WVU as well.  As long as the team doesn't quit, we are 7-5 or 8-4.  We will probably find a way to lose to a disciplined team like Iowa St.  We still are significantly more talented than 7 teams on this schedule.

You say that but did you think we were more talented going into today than a Baylor team that won two games last year?

Exactly, does Card or another QB set their feet and hit those two easy TDs?

Shouldn’t matter if the pass is perfect or off, if the receiver gets both hands on the ball he should catch the fucker. Moore dropped one in the end zone at end of the half and Washington dropped a couple. Most of the drops are on the receivers.

Moore fumbled, dropped a TD pass, and tipped a pass right in his hands for an interception all in the span of 5 minutes yet somehow that’s Casey’s fault because, well, his pass wasn’t perfect. Such bullshit.

Talk about a stupid fucking take. Offense so good it only scores on the first half. Yeah. Ok.

We better be the Beard of portal users this year.

Gonna likely go full Mel Tucker because the majority of the players we're current fielding don't deserve to be called JAGs.

Then you really have no idea how football is played.

Bible aggies are 7-1. Let that sink in, a 2-7 team is knocking on the door of the Top 10. Best we can hope for is a Texas bowl berth.

UTSA and UTEP have figured out football and we can't.

It's also an AD issue which is only focused on money and not so much the results. As long as the money keeps coming in, who gives a shit what the team's record is?

Passes that hit receivers right in their hands, including 50 yard bombs and 10 yard turnaround hitches are somehow shitty passes? Interesting theory.

A good pass or released on time and they don't have defenders on them.

Yeah, they should catch it, but Casey often turns an easy TD into a pass we need a competent receiver to catch.

If Casey would take the 8-10 yards that’s always their instead of some bullshit off balance wounded duck, he would be 20x better.

This.
It would benefit this team so much more if he would take the 4-8 yards on a run instead of trying to throw the ball into triple coverage. At this point, Card should start. We need to see what we have for next year.

No.  Not significantly.

quick takeaways..

rapey played with confidence and composure in 2nd half, feeling no pressure after watching our collapses.

wr's can't catch on key plays - thats probably the biggest difference maker this game and several others.

casey also with a few key misses, throwaways, interceptions, mistakes.

defense played decently well, overshown was a no show - d gave enough for offense to have a chance to win, far from great but decent enough.

a few less missed tackles this game compared to the last few weeks.

sark deserves the blame for 2nd half meltdowns, and also deserves support for turning this shit around.

bijan didn't produce with a stacked box and continually shit oline, and casey and our wr's didn't make the rapey defense pay.

we play like we don't really want to win.

yet we're in all games and we're tops in the big 12 at finding ways to lose.

another close but no cigar showing.

There is absolutely no excuse for Moore dropping that TD pass in the end zone. He wasn't touched by any defender and had the ball against his body. He catches that and it's 31-31 in the 4th quarter.

Yeah gave up two key 1st downs by just hurling the ball down the field on low percentage pass attempts...

There is not one single position group that has improved under this staff. Not one. Most have gotten demonstrably worse — as has S&C, predictably. This isn’t a talent issue - it’s a coaching issue. This is a poorly coached team with a leader that has a career of mediocrity that can only aspire to reach mediocrity right now. Anyone who thinks Sark “just needs to get his guys” in - is absolutely deluding yourself. He has repeatedly shown you who he is. His entire resume is exactly what we are seeing.

The fucking entitlement and attitude is just outstanding with some of them. Don’t sing the Eyes. Just let the fans carry the water as we have for a decade. Seriously just enter the portal and don’t look back if you can’t stand with your team at the end.

The season is over we aren’t bowling. Play card and play all the young kids. Fuck these soft ass shit upperclassman who wouldn’t be starting at Kansas junior college

I'm at this point.  We are at the part in the season where there's a body of video supporting what/who doesn't work, so try different players.  If upperclassmen set the tone, the bar is low.

Herman's first year we ended 7-6. We're 4-4 right now so yeah we're on that track

Herman took over a team from the worst coach in Texas history after 3 straight losing seasons and went 32-18 with 4 consecutive bowl wins.

We lost 3 games by a total of 13 points last year.

Sarkisian has taken that team and gone 4-4 with 4 brutal losses by a total of 39 points. That's not the same trajectory AT ALL.

Card is a statue who doesn't move well in the pocket. Considering that the OL will be the same, I don't see how Card will make the team any better. Now Sarkisian can coach up Casey to bail at the first opportunity rather than waiting for receivers to come free. That is certainly possible.

And Baylor wanted this more.  They gained an extra 2-3 yards after contact.  Our guys went down at point of contact.

It's a simple game:  you throw the ball, you catch the ball, and you can't convert on 3rd down.
