Any word on why Foster isn’t making it when everyone of his Houston friends will be there?

Seems like mom will do everything in her power to keep him from going to Texas.  She posts on Texags.  Have any of you met texags posters in real life? they are exactly how you would imagine.  It’s a bit sad that Texas offers the best education, an OL that is going to be one of the best in the conference and 1-2 years away from one of the best in the country, and an opportunity to participate in a national championship winning shot-put program.  Any sensible parent would love for their kid to have all those opportunities on top of playing with all your childhood friends and being close to home.  Instead she’s pushing him to Oregon if not Texas just because of her aggy family and texags.

I hope that in the real world of recruiting, getting a quality education and playing for a top 10 football team, a red ass aggy mama will take a back seat.

The phrase real word and aggy aren't usually used in the same sentence...

3 North Shore kids not coming. I wonder if Roberts was invited.

Figure I'd post this here.  Recruits predictions.

These prediction questions are a really good way to get honest answers from recruits about what they think of the programs. There was more honesty in these answers than most reporters get the whole cycle by asking straightforward questions.

Josh White seems all LSU based on his talk  about the new offense for LSU, but a win by Texas might wake him up some, especially if our defense plays well.

Gotta like both Sanders and Jackson picking Texas.

The reports about Blackshire being SEC SEC SEC seem correct. Brennon Scott might be a little salty about having a non-committable offer from us.

And McCutchin still sounds salty offering to late.

I like Clayton Smith's response the best. I also wouldn't spend 10 minutes more recruiting Latrell McCutchin.

S JD Coffey III, Kennedale (Kennedale, TX): The love child of Xavian Alford and Baron Browning, the four-star is a fan of the Longhorns and I can't see the competition here. Coach Craig Naivar has pushed all the right buttons. I think we'll see Coffey at DKR a lot over the next two seasons. And beyond.

A. Love child of Xavian Alford and Baron Browning certainly sounds like an intriguing prospect

B. Can somebody fill me in on what parts of Baron Browning's game/physical profile align with Coffey? Is he not necessarily a safety?

Has the smarts/football IQ of Alford with the physical/athletic traits of Browning.

Which seems important because Browning was a 5 star, but has played in 21 games in his 2+ years at osu, picking up 41 total tackles, 6 for loss, and a sack.

If 247 is to be believed, Coffey is 50 lbs lighter than Browning was as a prospect (couldn't tell you what he weighed at beginning of his junior season).

Mark my words. If one of my kids miraculously develops the athleticism to play D1 football, and he becomes a 5 star recruit, you’re really going to regret this post.

I bet he’d be an immature punk with no redeeming value. He’s a lost cause.
