amazing how baylor can just reload coaches and players and compete for the conference...

We would never even think about hiring either Rhule or Aranda for some reason.

this is what's truly amazing. They've aced the head coaching hire repeatedly

Baylor was 2-7 last year under this coach everyone is creaming their jeans over
Uhhh still don't see your point. Covid year.

And if you don't think Aranda is the shit your football IQ is negative. Fucker can coach.

I have always thought Aranda is the guy LSU will hire.

Of course he is. But LSU is the antithesis of Baylor when it comes to coaching hires. Watch those dumbshits end up with Franklin

You have a bunch of upper class talent and brought in key transfers in his second offseason. Good for you.  It’s a model of what Texas should expect, instead of bitching and moaning. Texas had a late hire and is near the bottom in returning starts.

You take year 1 lumps sometimes.

putting in Rattler was complete desperation.  I'd probably have left it in the hands of Williams to make a play.

that's just the problem he only has one left and it's not his throwing hand

This.  They also have a collection of talent that wasn't god's gift since the 7th grade.  We should be looking a lot more for the high 3 and esepcially 4 stars that only became known quantities their Jr, maybe even Sr year.  These are kids who have not spent 6-7 years getting their asses kissed and just being bigger/stronger/faster than everybody.  They know how to work, they've faced doubt and adversity in middle school/early HS and they are a shitload tougher mentally.

I don't think js1 was questioning Aranda so much as our fanbase.

I wonder if Texas is watching this game. Hopefully the defense is in terms of learning how to wrap. Play with aggression etc

Maybe in the off season Sark can hire the Baylor team to tutor out players how to give a shit

Thank you. It’s not about Aranda. It’s about our fan base creaming over Aranda without seeing similarity between Baylor 2020 and Texas 2021.

And it is always the right thing to do.  Always.

I don't fault anyone for rooting for Baylor here, but I can never bring myself to do that after the Briles stuff. Just a trash program, university, and fan base.

LOL, the refs should have called a foul on OU for illegal hands to the face.....if there isn't a flag for blocking with no helmet (which he clearly did) then there should be a flag for why there was no flag.

You can appreciate the job Aranda has done and still be optimistic about our future.

yessir.  we need to recruit dogs. I think our staff, particularly our defensive staff gets this

This Baylor defense is impressive.
No it isn't, coaches are beginning to figure out Caleb Williams...and BlowU's offense isn't much better than ours in reality.

I’ll give the refs credit, at least they seem to be calling this game straight up.

the holding call on the run that wasn't called against KU told me they aren't looking to help OU.  just calling it normal.  maybe the rig 12 knows OU isn't gonna make the playoff and is fine with pushing the teams that will stay.

Gotcha, apologies. Im fucking ripped to the gills amped up right now and ready to run out on the field and hit someone. Beating OU makes me feel like King Kong.

My wife's cousin is named Gary Bohanan. So every time I hear Gus talk about how Bohanan is running wild on this defense, I picture a 70-something retired pastor cutting on a dime and racing upfield.

I will say the one big difference is Baylor got to quietly go 2-7 last year.  They are fucking Baylor, when they are busy going 2-7 nobody is saying "what the fuck is wrong with Baylor?"  It doesn't excuse everything by a damn sight but the luxury of a school like that is you can quietly suck ass.

Shouldn’t Rattler just be able to throw 50 yard 50/50s up for TDs? Worked against us.
Rattler didn't do shit against us, that was Williams with the hail Marys.

LOL, OU gonna get beat by a QB who has 117 yards passing with less than 5 minutes left in the game.

They have almost 300 yards rushing though. That's where OU lost this game.

Just line him up against our defense.
