What’s the precedent on something like this, if any?   Overspend on a fancy awkward looking stadium, overpay an aging rape enabling coach, and try and grow the student body at a tremendous rate as a fuck you to the rival school...then beg for money when it doesn’t work. Fuck them. Let them cut students, cut faculty pay, or have the football program reinvest in the academics (lulz).  Sorry you blew your credit card up and oils at $52 so your donor base is shit.  Begging to get out of a jam; they couldn’t be any more little brother if they tried.

Referring back to the discussion of final top 4 rankings in the main 3 sports, since my research is apparently being referenced all over the internet without getting credit today (this and the Texas 247 recruit rankings chart), the criteria were top 4 in the final AP poll or top 4 in the final coaches poll through the 2013 season. Starting with the college football playoff, of course, reaching that is the criterion.

Despite what Aggies would like you to believe, Top 4 was selected so football was on even footing with basketball and baseball, which have both obviously used postseason tournaments for decades. The Final Four was used for basketball and CWS semifinals was used for baseball (or being one of the last 4 teams back in the double elimination days).

Here is the list of most Top/Final Fours in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Hockey:

164. St. Joseph's - 0

Hockey was added because in fairness lots of northern and midwestern schools consider that their third sport instead of baseball. St. Joe's is included at the bottom because they reached a final four but it was vacated by penalty.

Does Michigan have any top 4 finishes in baseball and hockey? If so, one should be eliminated. Or just add diving and swimming championships to the equation to break the tie. Lol

Anyone think they left off the A&M because there just wasn’t enough room?

But seriously, their jerseys need more shit on them. They’re not nearly busy enough. NASCAR drivers are jealous.

They have started wearing their Alt baseball jerseys that leave the A&M off also.

That's why they're building that awesome track complex that seats "nearly 2,200".  They went all out with the amenities on this "bigger than baseball" complex.

Cushing Stadium will have an initial seating capacity of nearly 2,200 fans, complete with hospitality amenities, press box, full broadcast capabilities and service areas. It will also have team meeting rooms, locker rooms, a training room, official’s quarters, and equipment storage.

They also think Texas is struggling to raise money for facility improvements, because our new basketball arena is going to be 100% financed privately.

They have no concept of fiduciary responsibility with respect to the state. It's all one big piggy bank they're entitled to dip into whenever they need it and for whatever reason. Times are a little tight because they've increased their enrollment by 33% in a decade and spent half a billion dollars to upgrade their fucking football stadium, so the solution there is obviously to rely on the state and its taxpayers to foot the bill.

Given the political loyalties of the majority of Aggies, it's pretty ironic. There is nothing wrong with being in favor of limited government and low taxation, but it is hypocritical in the extreme to apply that standard only to government spending that doesn't end up in your pocket.

Please pay us for finding a way to increase enrollment, take in pledges for hundreds of millions of dollars, and still lose money.

They have saved money by not having their jerseys read Texas A&M Fightin' Texas Aggies from Texas.

All Aggies should just donate their rings to be melted down to save their dear university. They'll always have the beautiful gigantic symbol of their brilliant achievement right there on campus.

The state UIL track meet will have 20,000 fans on its busiest day. Just saying.
