The texas aggies was a thing back then, that is awesome.
Does the Florida Seminoles or Louisiana tigers or oklahoma cowboys have this much of an identity problem?

Be who you are aggy, not who you wish you were.

Florida Seminoles have no problem wit it. They give no fucks because they got moar wampum than aggy could ever hope to because they scalp all the palefaces in Hard Rock and their other casinos.

Another example why Texas A&M athletes deserve to be called poor sports. This is what the A&M anchorman was wearing as he crossed the finish line after winning first place in the 4X400 Relay at the Texas Relays this afternoon. Some champion he is (not).

They are probably too stupid to realize how this juvenile behavior on national television reflects poorly on their university, but instead will snicker and give this little shit likes on twitter. Why athletes are not disqualified for affronts like this to the entire sport of Track & Field is beyond my pay grade. He and his other teammates that did the same "prank" truly are an embarrassment to their school, and most of all themselves.

Where is that pic/screen shot of the teams who have never finished in the top 4 of the major sports? I saw it last week and went back 4 pages. Anyone have it?

edit: found it on aggypedia. Sending it to my aggy friend now.

Share it please. I’d like to spread the gospel myself

Well at least Northwestern has an excuse.  They only allow students with high academic standards to enroll.

Aggy admits pieces of shit who fling horse shit on opposing bands. And that was when aggy was more selective about the pieces of shit they admitted.

With the Red Raiders set to make their first appearance in the Final Four, Northwestern is now the only "Power 5 Conference" school to not have had either a baseball, men's basketball or football team make the semi-finals in either the NCAA Tournament/College World Series/College Football Playoff, or have a football team finish ranked 4th or higher in the AP or Coaches' Polls.

Below are the 65 "Power 5" conference schools and their most recent "top 4/final 4" team in either football, men's basketball, or baseball:

School Football Basketball Baseball
ACC
Boston College 1984 1961
Clemson 2018 2010
Duke 1941 2015 1953
Florida State 2014 1972 2012

The 1939 A&M football team's #1 ranking in the AP Poll is their only entry on the list. It's also the oldest "most recent" team of any school on the list above. The next oldest team is nearly 20 years later: the now discontinued Iowa State baseball team's 1957 College World Series appearance.

OU won a baseball national title in 1994 and was in the 2010 CWS (not sure if they finished in top 4).

The 1994 team sure did, don't know how I missed that one. That 2010 team didn't make it out of the losers bracket, but they did hand South Carolina their only loss of the entire tournament and almost knocked them out in extra innings. Fixed:

“But but but we were a military school and our boys were out at war defending our great nation stupid sip” - aggy
Their boys, known as 90 day wonders, were dying for their country, usually 15 min or so after arriving on a battlefield unless a sgt. was assigned to nursemaid the aggy idoits.

Aggy recruiting guy leaves A&M to go to Arky March 1st.....then returns March 30th to Aggy..... sounds like a Spygate?

Texas A&M: Source tells FootballScoop Larry McDonald is back at A&M after briefly joining Chad Morris’ staff at Arkansas as director of recruiting. We are told McDonald’s title has been bumped to executive director of recruiting at A&M.

Oh lord. Two top tier programs that yearly compete for 4th place in their division have an insider swapping Intel. Should be 1st story on ESPN tomorrow at 6p.

Hey now, that's not completely accurate. Sometimes Miss St has a down year and atm competes for 3rd.

Another funny thing is the replies saying they were top 2 in 89 in baseball  (but no omaha) or top 5 in 2012 in football and whine about top 4 instead of 5. As if once in 3 sports in 70+ years would make it any less pathetic

Some other funny things about 2012:

They tied with UGA for 5th in the final AP poll. So they weren't even top 5 outright.

Had there been a playoff selection (I mean, I assume we're using top 4 as a cutoff because that's what correlates with Final Four, CWS Semis, and the CFP) aggy wouldn't have even been in the conversation. They finished 9th in the final BCS poll - and were the 5th ranked SEC team.

So they basically would have had the 5th best case in their own conference for making a hypothetical playoff that year. They only snuck up to 5/6 because of bowl game results.
