After his first two years leading the A&M program, Kevin Sumlin was 20-6 with 13 victories over teams with winning records. Only one of Sumlin's losses came by more than 7 points.

After two seasons, with a bowl game left to play, Jimbo Fisher is 16-9, with 5 victories over teams with winning records. Over half of Jimbo's losses have been by more than two touchdowns. Jimbo's 2019 loss to LSU was the program's biggest defeat since getting beaten 59-0 by Alabama in 2014.

But Jimbo has the look of an s e c coach. The name too.

Aggy is going to dial up the SEC schedule model next year when they play Abilene Christian, North Texas, Colorado, and Fresno State.  They also draw Vandy from the East so they'll win most if not all of those games and still get butt fucked by Bama, LSU, and Barn.  They'll be 9-3 instead of 7-5 and call that a big improvement.  Their schedule shakes out to where their last two games are against Bama and LSU, which means they'll be 10-1 heading into that and be ranked in the Top 10 before they lose by combined scores of 110-3 or something.

The A&M System filed its most recent financial statement a few days ago. I'm just starting to go through it. My favorite so far. Right up there with perfecting cold fusion and solving they mysteries of alchemy - the aggy flying car.

Quote

On May 8, 2019, a group of Aggies came up with a design – and a scaled-down prototype – of a
“flying car” that will fit neatly in your garage. If all goes as planned, the team will commercialize
the design, and we will see Aggie-designed vehicles overhead soon. The Texas A&M University
students have been steadily advancing in an international competition with their concept for a
personal flying vehicle, which has been referred to as a “flying car” and as a “flying motorcycle.”
The Aggies are one of five teams to advance in the competition –GoFly sponsored by Boeing. The
Texas A&M team represents the only U.S. university left in the competition that has included other
universities, start-ups and various companies. Chancellor Sharp said Moble Benedict, an assistant
professor in the Aerospace Engineering Department at Texas A&M, has pulled together the ideal
combination of talent and resources to allow our students to do great things. “The sky is the limit
for these brilliant students,” Chancellor Sharp said. “They are the perfect example of why the
biggest companies in the world seek out Aggie engineers.”

While we know the UT System has 2.2 million acres in endowed lands valued at roughly $9B, the aggys also have their own mineral producing lands:

Quote

Mineral rights held for the purpose of generating income are reported at fair value based on three times
the previous twelve months of income. The fair value reported as of August 31, 2019 is $78,572,754.99.

The non-PUF endowment of the A&M System was valued at $1.45B. That sum is for the entire system, not just the College Station campus. Additionally, it inclused the following amounts invested for non-A&M System schools.

Quote

The A&M System provides investment services to Midwestern State University (MSU), Stephen F.
Austin University (SFA), and Texas Woman’s University (TWU). As of August 31, 2019, the A&M
System managed investments valued at $45,655,709.38 for MSU, $73,679,631.93 for SFA, and
$181,303,442.08 for TWU. The investment totals and all disclosures presented below include the amounts
invested on behalf of MSU, SFA, and TWU.

The 5 teams we lost to this year have a combined record of 54-6 this year. 4 of those 6 losses came to the other teams we lost to. The only teams that have beaten any of those 5 teams were Florida and South Carolina, who each won one game against one of those teams.

The Aggies are 0-5 against those 5 teams, but if you remove the games those 5 teams played against themselves, the rest of college football is 2-50 against them.

Last night looked horrible, but hope we can let the anger build for next year.

Don't kid yourself - aggy can get beat by both Colorado and Fresno State. They ain't gonna be 10-1 heading into Bama & LSU. Good draw with Vandy, though.

CUP.jpg
Totally hypothetically...

Let's say someone on this board happens to live in the bcs area...

And let's say that someone happened to know the outlets who had been distributing the cups for last year's 7 ot game...

And let's say that someone might be willing to distribute large numbers of this new cup covertly to those same locations around bcs...

How might a person go about helping fund a campaign to make a thing like this happen?

For clarity, I do not live anywhere close to bcs, but would hypothetically help fund an endeavor of this kind, if it hypothetically could happen.

Bonus points if we wanted to send some to the aggy ad office and texags.

Aggy will start the year ranked in the top 20 because SEC gonna SEC. have to prop up the shit. Let’s say #14

The will win their first 6 games against these nobodies

vs. Abilene Christian

vs. North Texas

vs. Colorado

vs. Arkansas (Arlington)

@ Mississippi State

vs. Fresno State

They will be 6-0 and in the top 10 because some teams in front of them will have lost.

@ Auburn

They will be 6-1 and drop back to #12 or something

@ South Carolina

vs. Ole Miss

vs. Vanderbilt

They will be 9-1 and back in Top 10

@ Alabama

vs. LSU

They end 9-3 and ranked #16

Holy Fuck, they only have 4 away games

Gotta love this gem in there...

Revenge for the bogus targeting call by the sip ref (hoodie guy) that allowed them to win the last meeting in 2011????

good thing they’re not still harboring nearly decade old resentments toward anonymous referees.

Anonymous?! A few hours after the game ended, they identified him as a first responder (firefighter) from San Antonio and, in a manner consistent with their true respect who risk their lives to save others, and in a display of how they are “the finest fans in all college football,” posted his name and address as well as the names of his wife and little children, and started posting death threats against him and his family on “certain aggy-centric social media sites.”

What the aggys have never explained is why individuals who are exemplary in other aspects of their lives find aggys and aggy culture so repulsive and offensive that they will risk the lives of their wives and children to conspire against all things Texas A&M. Nor will they explain how such a revulsion to all things aggys has been passed down to generation after generation over decade after decade.

I wish the aggys would explain what about them they think it is that generates so much animosity by so many honorable individuals.

If y'all want some more schadenfreude to laugh at, listen to texaggy radio on Friday. Particularly at the 1:30:00 onward when Looch and the McKinney brothers come in with all their smug and arrogance.
