That those overall-wearing yokels actually think that they are in a position to parody anyone is astonishing.

I assume that they presume to illuminate the absurdity of traditional cheerleaders versus their very manly, manful YELL leaders.

God bless Deloss Dodds for finding a way to drive those idiots out of the conference. Now, if we can only terminate their status as a branch of The University of Texas, give them 1/3 of the financial assets UTIMCO is managing, and create even more distance between UT and A&M.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

The Legislature, Governor, UTIMCO and the Regents of The University of Texas have a fiduciary responsibility to the citizens of the State of Texas to prevent a constitutional divestiture of 1/3rd of the PUF, because aggy would burn through it in less than 10 years through mismanagement, asshattery and shenanigans.

Now, a full Constitutional Divorce is still necessary, in that it would allow us to kick aggy out of UTIMCO entirely, and parse the AUF funds due for aggy accordingly as UTIMCO saw fit, such that no checks go direct to Sharp.  Legislature say?  Nil.  Governor say?  Nil.  No more sandstorm areceibo dishes.  No more talkie birds.  Prairie View gets their check direct from UTIMCO.  East Texas State gets their check direct from UTIMCO.  And as a condition for continuing to receive an AUF check (amount to be determined at the full and sole discretion of UTIMCO), aggy branding and any control whatsoever over State of Texas assets/programs such The Forest Service, is immediately terminated.  In addition, the entire financial administration of aggy is hereby terminated, replaced with 5-year outsourced contracts to the Big 4.

As a measure of grace there will be no inquisition as to the disposition and use of the hurricane relief funds.

In the first AUF disbursement following the divorce, UTIMCO will issue a check for $1 Million Dollars to each of the families who lost a child in the 1999 lincoln log combustion event, attached to a profuse apology above the name of John Dull Sharp.

I missed it somewhere, but what actually is the backstory of the Harvey hurricane relief fund allegations & Sharp’s handling thereof?

Someone from out of the state once asked me how ugly and homely most aggy women are. Here’s some proof. I went to high school with this guy. He went to aggy because he was a wildlife conservation and management major. Anyway, this is his wife.

John not so Sharp is charged with disbursing Harvey relief funds, happens to coincide with aggy breaking the bank to lure Jimbo to collie Station. How many aggy owned contruction, paving, tree trimming, supply and other service companies in Houston do you reckon recieved the bulk of that money? Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out Jimbo was money whipped thanks to a disaster in Southeast Texas..

so did the UT System sell these dick heads some land?

HQJWa1.jpg

this is the chron image of their new project above and below is the location of that the pink is the 18 story building to be renovated and the yellow is the outline of the rest of the area which is listed as MD Anderson buildings and a chilled water plant

HQJhyg.md.png

also it sounds as though they are going to downward expand their medical school programs to include the first two years not just the residency....I wonder if the cocks over at UH will attack that the way they did the UT Research proposal since UH is starting a half assed medical school that will not even be located in the TMC

UT needs to go ahead and ram that research facility through and say fuck sly the idiot turner and the rest of those fucks

emoji115.pngemoji115.pngAgree. That was the first thing I thought of when reading the story last week. It’s a shame how that deal with the land purchase/research center played out. I assume aggy took care to grease the correct palms (i.e., not just their own for the spank circle).

that and there is a strong element of "crabs in a bucket" in Texas politics-- UT provokes a much stronger negative response than A&M does when we do anything at all that might simultaneously improve higher education in the state AND our institutional reputation

why do they need to put the ass-to-mouth logo on those buildings?  the fuck?

how many TMC buildings have an orange longhorn?

They have to give the aggy owned sign company a million dollars to do 500k worth of signage and then “donate” 300k to aggy athletics.

tl, dr:  money laundering

looks like most of the new space is dedicated to ancillary/support services. Student housing, retail, parking, green space. how much of the half-a-billion is actually going toward any hard science or engineering?

Yet another example of aggys making boastful claims and offering nothing once the press release was sent out.

Remember when A&M was to become the global hub for global biotechnology and vaccine production? What about when they announced they could end starvation by feeding cotton flour to the hungry? What about the “world capitol of hypersonic research”? Remember when they were going to perfect flying automobiles to the point they were cheap enough for an ordinary individual to have one in their garage? Autonomous vehicle testing and advancement?

Hell, they couldn’t even make their stupid maroon bluebonnets viable.

That's basically just putting park benches in at an abandoned strip mall.

I'm sure of two things: 1) that the aggys will declare the lake to be sacred ground and prohibit people from walking on its water and 2) It won't be long until Lake aggy will be as full of shit as most aggys themselves. It's not as if there is no track record for how aggys manage water features on their campus.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

Of course parking lots will be five miles away, and they will make a small fortune with a shuttle line to and from.

In a 5 mile linear distance,  how many millions of noble, chivalrous aggy would be able to provide lost visitors directions and that matchless aggy hospitality--- such that visitors will rush home immediately and pen a message of teary gratitude on an open forum??  Forget the shuttles guys, this is going to be great!!
