aggy quote of the day:

Although well-intentioned at first, I found out years later that being a "gentleman" was in fact disrespectful towards women because they too are human beings that can talk, think, feel, believe, etc., just like men can.

aggy culture is a mental illness. There is simply no other way to adequately describe it.

I'm no baseball expert, but that seems less than ideal

The fat, white, male redneck contingent of aggy alumni are pushing back on changes at A&M. The school paper is on the story.

“It’s about numbers,” Weber is quoted by the minutes. “If you don’t have enough kids in the Corps, they’ll overrun. It’s the same thing in our country. If we don’t reproduce, have kids and raise them right … we’ll be overrun. Other groups having tons of kids and are coming here to overrun our country. When we had people coming in through Ellis Island WE set the rules. Now, we let people in and we let them set the rules for [the] U.S.”

“It's not Fish Camp — it's gay camp, or it's critical race theory camp,” Hazlewood said. “But it ain't supposed to be gay camp. It's supposed to be learning about being a Texas Aggie.”

“It's supposed to be learning about being a Texas Aggie.”

In the era of Sul Ross aggy professors lectured students on “the abomination of African citizenship.” In the 1920s the school openly promoted local Klan rallies over the PA system during home football games. The day after the U.S. Supreme Court handed down the decision in Brown v Board, the aggy student body held a referendum and declared they would never abide by the decision.

I don’t think incoming students need to “learn about being an aggy.” Those assholes at The Rudder Association need to crawl back under rock they slithered out from under. We know what they’re selling and it’s disgusting.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

Safety prospect with good size and field recognition but major deficiencies that could be tough to overcome. O'Neal puts the work in and it shows with the way he locates routes and rushes on top of them as a zone defender. While he has some success playing forward, he's missing the hips and speed to hold up as a last line of defense against NFL speed. To make the situation muddier, O'Neal was an inconsistent tackler throughout his time at Texas A&M, which could add to the challenge of making a roster in 2022.

First off... there is no such thing as a "Texas aggy"

Lost and found at the Austin airport.  I thought aggy always helped aggy

Welding machines, wheelchairs, a bottle of Tito’s Vodka, a decorated pageant crown and even a track and field championship ring from Texas A&M University have passed through the office.

Quote

In the case of the lost Texas A&M track and field championship ring, airport staffers tried vigorously to return it to its wearer. They started investigating people who could be connected to the ring’s awarded year and even reached out to the university for help. Texas A&M didn’t respond, and the ring was sent to Gaston and Sheehan (an auction house).

I would have loved to have bought that ring for a dollar at auction to post pics with

My favorite part of this story is that The Rudder Association tried to redact the names of the four members of the BOR who attended the meeting before turning over the minutes to the Battalion.  Oops:

Further examination by The Battalion revealed, however, that the censored text could be copied and pasted into a text document to be viewed in its entirety, due to TRA using a digital black highlighter to censor.

aggy really outdid themselves here.  I can't stop laughing about this.

You could’ve paired it with the hat I found on the beach at South Padre...

Texas A&M coaches are accused of repeatedly ignoring assault on woman

Another female victim has come forward, as has her mother, with claims that her physical assault at the hands of Demond Demas were ignored by Texas A&M football coaches, even after presenting photo evidence of the assault(s).

A&M coaches ignoring woman abuse, with photo evidence.

quote:
Turk reported Demas’s alleged multiple assaults to A&M police in November 2020.

A little more than a year ago Turk’s mother, Iesha Turk, tried reaching out to the A&M football program to discuss Demas’ alleged abuse of her daughter. She specifically tried contacting Dameyune Craig, who is Demas’s position coach.

Brianna said Craig had shown up to Demas’ apartment in November 2020 to visit with Demas about the receiver leaving an Aggies practice early and saying he intended to transfer because of lack of playing time.

After Craig left, Brianna said Demas abused her worse than before — including the choking and leaving her with a scratched, bloody leg and a black eye.

“No one ever reached out (from A&M football), and I had sent them a picture of her (bruised) face,” Iesha said. “I have never heard back from anyone from the football staff.”

This filth has been going on for well over a year now, which an eventual assault on another woman could have been prevented had the appropriate action been taken.

Apparently, optics and playing time were more important.

Disgusting.

Not a great week for Aggy. The Demas situation reflects very poorly on Jimbo, and The Rudder Association story is pretty wild. A bunch of old, red-ass Aggy try to create their own separate Fish Camp because the existing one (run by students) tries to "indoctrinate" tolerance into new students. The university adult who supervises Fish Camp suggest that the old red-asses actually talk to the students and the red-asses say nah, we're going to to try to work through Dan Patrick to impose these changes on the university. This will backfire gloriously in their faces, I have to think.

Considering the EoT drama we went through, not a lot of room to talk. Both Texas and aggy alumni need to remember that they’ve graduated and moved on and the school is for the current generation. It’s not for you to use your money to keep the school going as your playground to relive your experiences from 40 years ago.

Embrace your new (but still ingrained) gayness, ya red ass aggys!
