With Petrino I always thought leaving Atlanta midseason and being announced at Arky hours after a loss was way more egregious than cheating in his wife and busting himself on a motorcycle with her in the rear. Coaches cheat with young strange all the time, but most coaches care enough about their teams to finish a season even when times are tough. Coaches who take new jobs hours after a game at least wait til the end of the season/postseason. Midseason, just pure lack of anything resembling honor or decency. That was just gross.

It's almost as if he has little to no honesty, integrity or trustworthiness.

Luckily, aggy doesn't have a moral code they claim to always follow, while refusing to tolerate those who do not.

I remember him getting absolutely skewered by the NFL media for weeks. It was a gang bang of epic proportions.

Apparently, Darrell Royal did this in the 60’s

Quite different. With Jimbo, it means out of the top 25. Back the 1960s, the AP Poll only went to 20 in 1960, 1968, and 1969 and 10 in other seven years. Texas with Royal started in the top six and dropped out three times - 1960, 1965, and 1967. But you'll note, that only means out of the top 20 once and out of the top 10 twice. The 1960 squad most certainly would have been ranked had the AP Poll gone to 25 because they finished 17th in the Coaches Poll at 7-3-1.

That's enough to break the three times, but the 1965 and 1967 squads also have a decent argument at finishing in the top 25. They both finished 6-4, which may translate to a modern day 8-5. You'll see the 2022 Horns are ranked #25 at 8-5 in this year's final AP Poll.

Santa Fe is for people who believe Alvin is too progressive and are too embarrassed to live in Hitchcock.

Yea, aggy picked up on this technicality and are in their feelings about it. Check the replies and quote tweets.

So Akron went 2-10 (one win against a middle school and the other a 3-9 MAC team), plus lost their only two Power 5 games by a combined total of 115-6, and gets a C?  Were they expected to lose all their games 50-0 at the beginning of the year?

His name is Gage and hes from Santa Fe, TX. Thats all i got

To be fair, when that dude introduced himself, he had some sort of speech disability/expressive aphasia. I cant really hate on him for being a natl champ at a 4 year university

His name is Walsh, Gage Walsh. The greatest aggy to walk the earth. The aggyest aggy of everything that has been aggy. Was told he headed a dominating performance in the meat judging national championship. Those numbers don't lie.

Edit: read thru and most of those points came from him alone. #DontcareJudgedMeat

So let's see - we have an OC that left his prior job after being there for less than a month.  Was involved in an affair with a staffer and wrecked his motorcycle.  Moved from 8 different jobs after a season or less at each.  An OL coach recently fired after going 4-12 and sending inappropriate, racial tweets.  A DC that was fired from MD for his creation of such a "toxic" culture rife with humiliation, degradation, player humiliation, and abuse.

Only to be led by a HC who covered up scandal after scandal, including sexual assault, had an affair with a 19yr old tennis layer, and burned every bridge he ever laid eyes on.

What's not to love!

You left out the minor issue of the preventable player death on the MD resume.

Captain Gage has zero fucks to give, but I'd argue that the Clem, corps-turd lookalike, upthread is the aggyest of aggy.

Yeah we were there recently for my kid's volleyball tournament, and I was amazed at how the campus and the town just blend together randomly. It's hard to tell where campus starts and the town ends ... and everything is so far apart, it's unreal. We talked to a couple of students and they said they have to have wheels to make it to many of their classes on time - cars, bikes, scooters. Walking won't cut it. Too far.
