a handful:

  • 1914: 1 selector picked Texas (4 of 7 picked Army)
  • 1941: 2 selectors picked Texas (11 picked Minn)
  • 1968: 3 selectors picked Texas (14 of 18 picked Ohio State
  • 1977: 4 selectors picked Texas (17 of 22 picked ND)
  • 1981: 1 selector picked Texas (18 of 23 picked Clemson)

as a reminder for the ones A&M claim, they had 2 of 15 selectors pick them for 1919 (5 picked Harvard, 5 picked Illinois), 1927 1 of 12 selectors picked them (5 picked Illinois, 3 picked Georgia), 1939 14 of 18 picked Texas A&M (3 selectors picked Cornell) so in reality only one of those is anywhere close to legitimate - 1939

My algorithm prefers Cornell, sir.

Have you seen their schedule next year?  Softer than baby shit.  Texas Tech could probably go 10-2 with that schedule.

They have a joke of a schedule every year, and still the next year's schedule is always easier.

1.  The current roster might go 11-1 in NCAA Division II.

2.  The current roster ain't staying the same next year...Johnson is already out the door, I expect others will follow.

Hey aggy, what’s it like to have never seen your team win the football National Championship during your lifetime?  I’m working on improving my empathy, but in this case I can’t relate.

Some people paid 10k, 6k and 4K for tables at the event Johnny didn’t show up to I just saw on the news….  It’s for charity but still, damn.  Idiot.

Anyone who spends that kind of money to see Johnny 8-ball deserves the disappointment

Apparently, Elko and the aggy admin are trying to make Robinson the  “highest paid non-coordinator in college football” in an effort to entice him to stay.

Seems like a good way to piss off the ACTUAL coordinator.

With his terrible playcalling against Washington, what are the odds that Aggy just money whipped Will Stein?

They disqualified him once they heard he was a former sip coach.

So they are trying to over pay a Dline coach to stay that can recruit 5 stars but not develop them?   How many Dlineman has this guy actually gotten drafted and I think that Dline got what one sack vs ACU?

Development is for pussies. Real mean hang recruiting national championships on the mantle.

This got me thinking. Are they going to pay Santucci 2mil to sit in the booth for Elko?

College Station High's coach, this dipshit literally mugs for the local news' sideline camera during games, never seen anything like it.

Wow. He seems difficult to win over for the HC of a gigantic diploma mill in the same town.

You clearly don't understand aggy math.  That $2 mil they're paying Santucci can also be netted against the $7 mil being paid to Jimbo.  In fact, altogether they may actually be netting $$$ by firing him.  The more corches they pay not to do anything, the more money they save!  stupid sips
