How did actual all-male military schools do in the 1960s? Army went 6-3, 6-4, 6-4, 7-3, 4-6, 4-6, 8-2, 8-2, 7-3, and 4-5, for an average of 6 wins (high of 8 twice). Navy went 9-2, 7-3, 5-5, 9-2, 3-6, 4-4, 4-6, 5-4, 2-8, 1-9, for an average of 4.9 wins (high of 9 twice). And the all-male non-military A&M went 1-6-3, 4-5-1, 3-7, 2-7-1, 1-9, 3-7, 4-5-1, 7-4, 3-7, 3-7, for an average of 3.1 wins (high of 7 once). Sure Aggie.

July 3, 20241 yr That's an entire new conference worth of fans to show around campus on gameday, I hope they clear their schedules.
July 3, 20241 yr Popular Post I read enough comments this morning from atm cult members saying "Texas has never won anything" and it caused me to wonder how much winning they've done in the SEC. I count 12 years of atm in the SEC. They compete in 21 sports, ten of which are mens sports. I counted up their regular season conference championships in each sport. Mens - 1 (one) regular season conference championship in 12 years playing 10 sports. It was in basketball, 8 years ago. Out of 120 opportunities, their success rate is 0.8%. Womens - 8 regular season championships in 12 years playing 11 sports. Womens basketball and T&F, 3 each. One each in swimming & diving, soccer and tennis. Their most recent conference championship was 2021. Out of 130 opportunities, their success rate is 6%. Counting both m & w, ATM's overall success rate for winning regular season conference championships is 3.6%. We shall see but there's a better-than reasonable chance the University of Texas will have won more regular season conference titles in one year of SEC play than TAMU has been able to capture in 12 years. July 4, 20241 yr I'd sooner believe the Big Ten would pick up Rice than Aggy. After all, Rice has the more recent national championship in a big 3 men's sport, by 3 quarters of a decade.

July 4, 20241 yr they've show their ass to the rest of the league they would be encouraged to walk for free, no buyout negotiations necessary in fact, we should start a gofundme to PAY them to leave, maximum contribution $1 per signature publish on secrant and let it propagate from there

Supposedly, the total number of TAMU ‘alumni’ who served in all branches in all ranks was 20,229.[10] According to the Annapolis Special Collections librarian, the number of USNA graduates who served as officers during WWII is 12,976. The Association of Graduates at West Point reports 9,802 West Point graduates served as officers during WWII. Hence, the number of individuals from West Point and Annapolis combined who graduated and served as officers during WWII exceeds the total number of TAMU ‘alumni’ who served including those who graduated from A&M and served as officers as well as those who attended A&M for as little as a day and later served as enlisted personnel. The number of actual TAMU graduates who served as officers during WWII is far, far less than the number of graduates of Annapolis or the number of graduates of West Point who served as officers during the war.”
