Ha! aggy network is pure fan fiction. And I’m very sure the recent aggy engineering grads I know who can’t get a job to save their f-ing life and are now trying to get certifications from UT just so someone will hire them - would disagree with the above. Glorified clown college/diploma mill.

Oh and then there were the job fairs at aggy that were so overrun with aggys desperately seeking a job that they had to call fire marshalls to kick people out - true story.

In case you're actually interested, he's still listed with the Clippers:

One of my favorite more recent crowd signs was a couple of years ago Texas basketball hosting Baylor on Flo Thamba:

”Flo Thamba: Walmart Mo Bamba”

but keeping it on thread, it still trails the classic “Baaa means no” from the glory days years ago in the Erwin Center

Yeah no shit.

I've still never seen a visitor section or the opponents bench go as ape shit over a song our band was playing as that game in ‘99.

we had to announce “time for that great LHN tradition, Wabash Canonball” after the third quarter very time they came to town in years after that.

Was not aware of that...weird.  Do they think they own that song?  Maybe we should get torqued whenever Tech plays March Grandioso.

And what about all the other times we played Wabash Cannonball when we played K-State??

🙄

No, he’s right about that particular game. They were taking momentum from us, then the LHB played Wabash Cannonball (as they always do), and KState got amped and finished us off.

And it must have been the spirit of e.king gill or sul ross that morning hovering over our boat because we caught the biggest __________ (type of fish) and broke a state record by more than 2 pounds.

Because we were so taken aback at how the morning had gone to this point, we threw the fish back in because it didn't seem right.

We did take pics holding the fish on the scale in the boat, but when Bucky got back home to Vancouver he lost the pics when he was trying to upload them on to the internet.

I tell you, that-uz a big ol' fish. I'm talkin' 'bout a big-un!  Man, that fish-uz so big, we took a pichur of it an' the damn negative weighed three pounds!

Push it back twenty-plus.

This is one of my favorite traditions, watching the the cheerleaders dance routine to the Wabash Cannonball between the 3rd & 4th quarters.  Not just a bunch of pretty faces.

Heard $9.95er's podcast talking about Brian Kelly's buyout, and they laughed that at least it's currently less than Jimbo's...

Jimbo's just a year ago at approx $76mill 😎

It's funny that so many aggy think that buying Jimbo out was a flex. It really just perfectly encapsulated everything it means to be aggy.

He should just low-key chill in the medical tent until aggy gets all lathered up paying tribute to our 28th best basketball player of all time. At which point he should emerge wearing a burnt orange shirt saying "suck my dick, aggy", as 100k of those weirdos serenade him.

This is a specific enough plan to make me think it’s happening.

The “Jump Around” tradition at Wisconsin is all kinds of badass

I like Wisky plenty.  Talked to a lawyer this week who’s had W season tix for 35 years and faithfully attended.  He is a loyal “Beddjer” (Fargo accent) fan but moaned their current QB is the worst they’ve had since he started going to games at Camp Randall.

I did note in our game there the students disappeared completely after Jump Around.  That’s not cool.

Yeah, i went to a game there last year and watched it happen. All the season ticket holders complained the students only show up late for the song and then leave right afterwards.

ESPN: Liberty Bowl & Texas Bowl

The ESPN pairing of Kyle Noagura and Mark Schlabach have split decisions on the Red Raiders' outlook this week. Schlabach has Texas Tech headed back to the Liberty Bowl in Memphis on Dec. 27 to square off with Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt. Bonagura, meanwhile, has Tech going to Houston for the Texas Bowl to take on Texas A&M in a New Year's Eve showdown.
