I remember watching the game intently.  Getting pissed immediately after it was over.  Resolving that anger with the attitude of - well, they *needed* to win more than we did even after seeing all their aggyness on full display after we basically bent our knees for them... and then...

I get a call from an aggy co-worker - Ag Grad + Corp Turd... "How did you like that shit!, HAHAHA t.u. got there asses beat, WHOOP!" or something very close to that... its been 25 years so.

After that, no sympathy for the sheep fuckers.  I will go to my grave knowing that these dipshits are nothing but a shitstain and an embarrassment to the state of Texas.

Never have so many cheered and gotten so little in return.

Suck my burnt orange balls, gomers.

This. We showed more respect to their dead aggies that died in a stupid ass preventable way than they ever did. They were never even held accountable for being so fucking stupid.

I'm shocked they haven't yet turned killing 12 students on Thanksgiving week into a turdition.

So instead of The Lottery it would be The Jizzery.  Everyone on campus has to blow a sheep at one of the many the glory holes, but the catch is that 12 of the sheep are black and if you get one of those they put you into their bonfire structure and collapse it before the burn.   "Thanksgiving Jizzery equals Texas victory!" instead of ''Lottery in June, corn be heavy soon. ''

Do it just once and it is turdition!

Texas A&M's home field advantage deemed a 'myth' by one SEC writer

….only if we’re talking about actual wins and losses.

LOL. Truth and statistics be damned. Aggy perception triumphs over reality.

The winning percentage alone can’t serve as a proxy for the hostility and pressure from over 100,000 fans screaming at you when trying to get a play call in. Aggie football may have had its recent struggles, but by no means is the 12th Man indicative of a last-place ranking among the other SEC fanbases.

Re: 1999 Bonfire game

- Article leaves out the aggy Patel dude who was the night manager of the Holiday Inn that “allegedly” food poisoned half our team, including Applewhite.
- Their band still did their regular little brother anti-UT shit, no matter how in hindsight they claim to have been considering canceling their performance and were so moved by the Longhorn Band’s performance

- Did Mack let them win? Hard to say because we had Greg Davis and they called a shit game. I don’t give a shit if it was freshman Simms’s first career start. We had Kwame Cavil and Montrell Flowers to throw to, and Hodges Mitchell, Victor Ike, and Chris Robertson to run. We should’ve mud holed them and instead we lulled around and kept it close until they didn’t run out of time.

Half the team got food poisoning, and everyone had prank calls to their hotel room phones throughout the night.

So many examples of stupid, mean behavior from aggy. Really, though, it can almost all be chalked up to being little brother and perpetually childish.

I really, really like the thought of hearing "poooooooooorrr aggy" echoing through the night. Whoever said it is right - there are few things that get directly and immediately under the skin of any given aggy, than that chant.

Fuck, oh dear, let's make that happen. Not just in the stadium, but in the cafes and bars, on the streets and highways, at any gathering where one might expect to find aggy. When you hear it start, don't just nod in approval... join in. Sing it loud!

Poooooooooooorrrr aggy! Poooooooooooorrrr aggy!

Poooooooooooorrrr aggy!

Poooooooooooorrrr aggy!

would it be realistic to stay in Austin on Friday night and get to CS around noon on Saturday morning?

There's no reason for the team to spend the night in Collie Station for a 6:30 kick unless players have media commitments. Sark may have to arrive earlier.

Commute after an early morning breakfast in ATX.

That's pretty amazing.  His conclusion is the most amazing part:

So the whole "advantage" part of "home field advantage" really isn't about winning; it's about "look at us!"

Maybe A&M consistently sucks so bad that winning half their home games really does demonstrate a home field advantage?

Oh, they are roughly as successful on the road?  Well, carry on.

I’ve been there and agree. There’s nothing intimidating about 90,000 homos swaying back and forth and singing showtunes from the late 1800s.

the stacks of speakers will be visible on national television - i hope we take video of decibel meters and have baseline hearing test metrics for our entire program that will be on the sidelines, and if there is hearing loss after the game, we class-action individuals beginning with talkiebird (john sharpE)

if they are prepared to attempt physical impairment of our staff, players and administration they need to suffer criminal penalties

This is hilarious.  Don't even file a complaint with the SEC or anything.

Just sue them for hearing loss.  Aggy would be up in arms, lmfao.

I guarantee it will be well louder than 85 dBA on the bench, which is the (long term) OSHA standard for requiring hearing protection.

Players are wearing helmets that protect heads and ears are on the head so they are protection. I talked to my buddy at their engineering school and he agreed. Said yep, those stupid sips and osha don't know shit about safety.

He had to leave to go build the non-university sanctioned bonfire or dig a hole for a dead dog or something. We kept getting interrupted as he had to tell people where the stadium was every minute or so.

I looked it up.

Since joining the SEC, they are 39-3 at home in non-conference games, and 24-21 in conference games at Kroger Field.

So that is roughly 60% of their home field advantage wins coming from their meat grinder non-con schedule.

How many of those 39 wins are against FCS cupcakes?

Sarcasm aside, the "but they're wearing helmets" defense would be used.  Then we counter with "are our coaches or trainers or dudes on the bench wearing helmets?"

In all honesty, Sark and CDC and the players need to just shrug off these bullshit speakers.  "Apparently they didn't feel like they could win on the field, and they didn't."

Complaining about it would come across like LSU's histrionics over locker room AC.

I don't even thing our record is that good at home vs Non Con is it?

Of course we don't play Prairie view and such...

Are you doofuses really whining about suing people for hearing loss? Just stop.

it's a joke and sarcasm.

Also it would be a lot better than whining about it on social media or in the press conferences and crying to the SEC.

Is there any way to look up their home record this century?

Well here's a breakdown done by some fine ag on this series. No mention of what the record was since the discovery of copium.

https://texags.com/forums/5/topics/3512245

You will run into a lot of sips that will declare their overall domination over the Aggies by quoting stuff like, "the Aggies would need to win the next 40 straight years in a row to finally catch up to the mighty Longhorns" and crap like that.

So...just a quick reminder that we ARE competitive with the whorns, and that they are just in denial.

Texas A&M vs. Texas Record:
All time: 37-76-5
First 80 games: 18-57-5
Since WW 2 (1946): 22-43-1
Since women were admitted into A&M (1964): 20-28
Since we landed on the Moon (1969): 19-24
Since scholarship limitations (1973): 19-20
Since Microsoft was Funded (1975): 19-18
Since Darrel K Royal's last game (1976): 18-18
Since ESPN first aired (1979): 17-16
Since cell phones exceed 1M users (1984): 15-13
Last two meetings: 1-1
