...and here I thought betting on aggy to choke in big games was the safest bet
Any of you degenerates have aggy's record against ranked teams this past season? Mizzou "upset" notwithstanding?

Lost to Notre Dame, Texas and South Carolina (currently 14, but unranked when they played).

Beat Mizzou and LSU. Only Mizzou is still ranked.

I did my weekly rummage thru the TexAgs Texas game thread lololololol

75% of the posts are over analyzing every play for no call Texas hold and crying why we had zero penalties... until we finally got one then they complained we only had 1 penalty... etc etc

Their collective psyche is so totally broken and fucked by our performance last two years.  It's total comedy.

The remaining 25% is asking why they couldn't do such simple things such ass make those CK passes on our defense lol

Can someone calculate how much aggy is paying per win this year? Factoring in Jimbo and The Elk’s salaries, etc. and just assume aggy will lose to USC

Jimbo gets $7.1M/yr through 2031.

The Elk gets $7M/yr through 2029.

About $14M/yr for the next 5 years. Is 8 wins a good return on that?

For perspective, Sark gets $10.3M this year, and I think his incentives so far are an extra $150k for SECCG, $250k for making 1st round, $500k for making quarterfinals. $11.2M total it appears so far? More cash for any coach of the year awards.

This math is so fun, but can you imagine an aggie trying to rationalize the variance?

I'd actually really enjoy the "logic".
