Yes ,they can absolutely just walk into B1G and waltz back anytime , they are that desirable. And of course, fantastic success follows them wherever they are.
While  no ‘’question” asked of aggy , ever, I have one : where did he score the LSD?

Happy Anniversary!

Texas A&M hit with rare tech before tipoff for jersey error

Beginning of the game is worth a watch in these highlights - PSC Highlights on YT

This is so, very aggie. Main information in spoiler below for those that don't like to click and those that hate long cat.

Spoiler

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Texas A&M trailed before the opening tip at Florida, a scenario neither coach had experienced or even knew was a possibility before Wednesday night.

Shortly after leaving the court following final warmups, the Aggies realized managers had left their game jerseys at the team hotel. They double-timed it back to grab them, but officials hit them with a delay of game penalty -- officially deemed an administrative technical foul -- because the start had to be postponed a few minutes.

Florida guard Will Richard made the free throw for a 1-0 lead before the opening tip. The Gators (7-7) barely led again and lost 66-63 at home to drop to 0-2 in Southeastern Conference play for the second straight season. The Aggies (9-5, 1-0 SEC) won for the first time in six trips to Gainesville and gave Buzz Williams a victory in his 500th game as a head coach.

This one, though, will be remembered for that pregame point.

"I forgot the jerseys in my hotel room," Williams said. "That's probably the right way to say it because I used to be a manager. If that would have happened, my head coach would have stuck up for me. You don't want the jerseys to get wrinkled so they hang them in my room, and I just forgot to put them on the bus.

"It's my fault and it won't happen again."

Williams was admittedly protecting his student managers.

His players, though, used the pregame hole, albeit the smallest one possible, as extra motivation. They quickly undressed Florida and led by as many 11 points in the opening 20 minutes. They also rallied down the stretch after the Gators tied the score at 63 thanks to Colin Castleton's steal and layup.

The hell you will. He's got a two day head start on you, which is more than he needs. Brody's  Elko's got friends in every town and village from here to the Sudan, he speaks a dozen languages, knows every local custom, he'll blend in, disappear, you'll never see him again. With any luck, he's got the grail  championship already.

Elko is not (yet?) as unlikable as many of the past Aggy HCs.  He seems like a normal, well-adjusted adult who will often tell the truth ("burp", "they physically annihilated us", etc.)

I ran an errand with one of my daughters (no pics, you degenerates) yesterday and wore something similar - workout tshirt under a quarter-snap.  I walked past a mirror and reflected, "wow, I think look like a hobo."  Now, neither Elko nor I looked like hobos, but we easily could have dressed a bit better.

That said, I think he needs a stylist.  There are ways to dress that make you look less corpulent than you are.

Elko, football coaching aside, really isn't an idiot. I think there is a very real possibility he's wearing costume designed to appease his "audience".

What Elko learned during his DC stint in aggyland is that it’s not about what you do, it’s all about what you say.
He learned that he could waddle into aggyland and fleece the sheep for a minimum of 3 years without having to produce any on field results; just say the right aggy buzzwords at press conferences.

It’s great work if you can get it.

Elko really does "get" A&M and its turditions. Who will Trev Alberts hire next?

You had me at the use of the word waddle. Well done!

Curious how CoachLB defines success.  "Mike Elko has been successful everywhere."

Records as head coach:

  9-4

  7-5

  8-5

Average of 8 wins per year. Perfect for aggie, I guess.

He was coaching at at Duke and for Duke that's successful. You can't see it, cause you're a stupid sip, but that track record is a clear sign he's got thing heading the right direction. That's not sunshine pumping, it's fact.

Just wait til next season when his fatass is humpin' it on the sidelines biff poggi style in some bedazzled overalls with "the elk" proudly emblazoned on his name plate.

As with any coach, if he wins, it doesn’t matter what he wears (see Belichik and his cutoff sweatshirts). If his team is a loser or mediocre, he incurs the wrath of the masses (pun intended).

When Aggie goes 8-5 next year again, I’m trying to figure out how they keep the payments going on the roller coaster….’Year one of Elko’ was obviously always going to be the excuse this year but the rationalizer-crystal-ball gets a touch tougher next year.

Marcel Reed will be junior with lots of experience…..click?
Two full classes of Elko recruits plus all the stud true freshmen that will play in 2026 so…clak?
we get UT and LSU at home again….click?

You do realize we aren't talking about any coach. We are talking about the head football coach for aggie. Everything from who he recruits, what he eats, how much he eats, what he wears, what he doesn't wear, how he walks, how he talks, all of it matters to that fucking cult.

No way Reed is the starter in 26. He’ll be crucified by week 4, to make room for the next Messiah, who is probably not yet on the roster.

Oh, I know. But vagaries of any particular coach are endearing to the cult when they’re winning (Sumlin is cool and hip when he’s winning), and reasons to fire when they’re only mediocre (Sumlin’s a drunk!).

Elko’s mumus would be endearing to the cult if he would win (he only cares about football and doesn’t have time to work out!), and a reason to fire when he is, as expected, mediocre.

Interestingly enough, Ol Graham forgets to mention one team that won their bowl game and then won another bowl game and is playing another bowl game and will probably play ANOTHER bowl game. I like that he’s laid the groundwork for pointing back in a couple of months that they lost for reasons out of their control when that coaster starts rolling up the incline
