As with any coach, if he wins, it doesn’t matter what he wears (see Belichik and his cutoff sweatshirts). If his team is a loser or mediocre, he incurs the wrath of the masses (pun intended).

Weird thing on Belichick and the hoodies/sweats. The NFL was pissed cause they required coaches to wear NFL branded merchandise on the sidelines, and Belichick wasn't in compliance. He's always been an oppositional bastard, so he got the cheapest sweatshirt, cut the sleeves off, and started wearing it. It almost immediately became a best seller. IIRC, NFL apparel made a few commercials with guys working out in sweatshirts with the sleeves cut off, wiping the chalk dust off their hands on their chests, and throwing it down on a bench as a cushion for a bench press.

Curious how CoachLB defines success.  "Mike Elko has been successful everywhere."

Records as head coach:

  9-4

  7-5

  8-5

Average of 8 wins per year. Perfect for aggie, I guess.

And since coming to the FBS level in 2009 he's been apart of one conference championship and two 10 win seasons. What a resume he's got going there

Texas has twice as many playoff wins as aggy had between Halloween and New Years

Nope. The math doesn’t work. Two times zero is still zero.

Texas has two more playoff wins since Halloween than TAMU has in its history.

Interestingly enough, Ol Graham forgets to mention one team that won their bowl game and then won another bowl game and is playing another bowl game and will probably play ANOTHER bowl game. I like that he’s laid the groundwork for pointing back in a couple of months that they lost for reasons out of their control when that coaster starts rolling up the incline

Imagine trying to explain away a loss in a glorified exhibition game that matters to almost no one. Meanwhile your personal El Guapo is getting ready to play in college football’s Final 4 for the second straight season.

Yeah I didn't phrase that correctly, implying aggy has a playoff win is obviously laughably incorrect. Meant that they only had 1 win period which was the annual aggy November cupcake, this time over CUSA juggernaut NMSU

Looks like someone forgot that we actually played each other this year, so they can't do the crazy triangulation justification they've done for the past 10+ years to prove that they're better anymore.  Poor aggy.

lol, they can and they will. It won’t make any sense whatsoever, to your point, but when has that ever stopped them?

I'm so tired of this:

image.png.60ca05720577128e2e4eb58ac7680dda.png

The guy looked very good against who they played. He's not the second coming of Earl Campbell who could raise any dog-ass team from a dung heap. Moss is the new Weigman in terms of what they expect of him next year.

This sentence makes me think he's not one of us and actually is a teenager with dreams of replacing William one day.

I think it's a nice reference to William's convoluted quadruple negative prose that has placed him among the giants of sports communicators.

Read as A&M still doesn't have the depth to compete week in and week out in the SEC

Georgia doesn’t have the depth to compete week in and week out in the SECX3.  Their loss in the CFP is directly attributable to UT’s knocking out QB1 and punter in the SECX3 CG.

White trash ass simpleton fucks

While I've never been to Northgate, I do sympathize with them in one respect: Here in Austin, we have had a similar demise in our Rainey Street District. Only douchebag developers could have transformed something so charming into the soulless hi-rise monstrosity that it has become.

There's something hilarious about wanting to build in an area to take advantage of its charm, but the development completely negates what was charming about the neighborhood in the first place.

the pat persona excuse manifesto on their bowl defecation requires extremely advanced bas training

the picture used for the pat persona is of an individual that has no credentials indicating it went through fishcamp which is the prerequisite for all further advanced aggymanchurian programming of any kind

moving direct to postulates and arguments that simply ignore our existence?   bold strategy cotton

using arguments directly opposite of the truth?  ditto

furthermore, aggy cried wailed and threw a tantrum every time the natural match for their bowl game was a former conference mate, including ducking us 3 times in the last 12 years, resulting in aggy frequently matching up against 6-6 teams that still win, or down-market teams like wake forest who (checks notes).....  oops, sorry, aggy won that game because it wasn't played

and the worst reality distortion in history is the situations of the aggy and usc rosters a week ago last night....  and no mention of the usc roster situation by the pat persona

i continue to challenge the aggy 247 crew to produce the pat persona on youtube or a podcast for an ama

i would love to challenge the pat persona to a real-time verification of it's aggy credentials and programming

Douchebags transformed Rainey from an historic Mexican-American neighborhood into a "charming" bar district.

I LOVE TEXAGS:

This is the “Let me get this straight:” Thread:

TU gets:
1) the easiest SEC schedule this year and maybe of all time
2) to play the worst ranked team first round in the playoffs
3) to play the second worst ranked team in the second round
4) the non-targeting call that kept ASU from almost assuredly winning
5) to play the the semi-final in Dallas, which is essentially a home game for them

And we're supposed to believe there is no bias.

What if our Lombardi winning left tackle only played a few snaps and our pre-season 3rd team running back still had 180 yards ?

But then Texas had 2 turnovers inside the 5 and one became a pick 6 for a 14 point swing and aggy's only points and Texas only won by 10 instead of 31? Does aggy still cry about it? Does the pope wear a funny hat?

Thread about the remaining 4 teams in the playoffs and of course the woulda, coulda, shoulda. I went back through both GA threads and at no point is anyone here saying but, but, but.
What a bunch of wishcasting bums

We all knew it would happen eventually, but dang that roller coaster got back on track heading uphill faster than I expected.
