I just assume it's not real.

I wish I could do the same, but there's so much evidence to the contrary, that there really are ags that think and behave this way.

And I say that as a Longhorn who's married to an ag who comes from a huge ag family.  She and her immediate family are all great, but some of the more distant cousins are lunatics, just like this dude.

Texas has played in 2 conference championship games and 4 CFP games in the last 2 seasons.

aggy last played in a conference championship game 26 seasons ago.

Yes, but the sips played those conference championships in conferences that they had already destroyed, so those don't count!

TexAgs strikes again! Put it on the wall!!!!!! Whoop! I’ll save you from reading: they tied, yet actually won it. But they didn’t advance. Okay, they tied and came out on top when they tied, even though OU came out on top. I think.

“No. I think you are referring to the 2010 Big 12 South championship that we did win. (3 way tie with OU/OSU) It was listed on a list of championships that was on Kyle. t-sips attacked us for falsely claiming a championship, but they were wrong.

If you read the rules of the Big 12 at that time we did tie for the championship and were co-champions. OU "advanced" to the title game based on the title game tie-breaker rules. But the rules were very clear that we were co-champions.”

In some ways, I envy the younger fans who came along in the ‘95 season and later. That 1984-1994 stretch didn’t just warp Ag self regard, it did a number on Texas as well.

Younger? I fall into this gap and I ain't fucking young.

But Tom was spot on with his pre-season "no filter takes" and predictions:

With such a rich history of 12-0 seasons so let's just go with that.  You know, the whole softest SEC schedule they've ever had...  Let's not go with the more realistic 9-3 or 10-2. Much less with let's say, hmmmm the turditional 8-4 seasons they have been defined by their entire existence.

Even coming off a playoff year, our fan base was in the 9-3 to 11-1 range. I don't think I saw very many (if any) 12-0 predictions.

Stay aggy forever please.

No link, it's very click-baity, but apparently Marcel Reed is ahead of schedule and on track for a tremendous season in 2025:

Spoiler

Marcel Reed, the once-emergent talent now cemented as the Texas A&M Aggies’ starting quarterback, is wasting no time in preparing for the upcoming season. After stepping up during mid-season due to a shift from previous starter Weigman, Reed is relishing the chance to fine-tune his skills with the benefit of a full offseason.

His dedication is already on display, as evidenced by footage shared on Twitter by “QB Country Nashville,” showing Reed hard at work throwing in what looks like his hometown, Nashville, Tennessee. It’s clear that Reed is on a mission, and there’s a buzz of anticipation for what he’ll bring to the field.

Reed’s rise to the starting position was nothing short of electrifying. It started when he took over during a pivotal moment against LSU, turning the tide in a 38-23 victory.

Stepping in mid-way through the third quarter with the Aggies down 17-7, Reed immediately made an impact, tallying up 134 total yards and three touchdowns. That performance was a statement, and from then on, Reed became “the guy” for Texas A&M.

His stats from the season tell a story of a dynamic dual-threat quarterback. In just 11 games, the freshman surpassed 1,854 passing yards, notching 15 touchdowns while keeping his interceptions to a mere four.

Reed also showcased his mobility, rushing for 547 yards and adding seven touchdowns on 116 carries. He brought energy and a new dimension to an Aggies offense that was in sore need of a spark.

As the Aggies look to the future with Reed, they’re not standing pat on offensive talent. Enhancements are underway, with significant additions in the wide receiver position via the transfer portal.

Kevin Concepcion, Micah Hudson, and Mario Craver, hailing from NC State, Texas Tech, and Mississippi State respectively, are set to bolster the receiving corps. The boost in talent aims to create an offensive unit that maximizes Reed’s capabilities.

Moreover, the return of Texas A&M’s star running back Le’Veon Moss for his senior season bodes well for a balanced offensive attack. With Reed at the helm and Moss continuing to churn yards on the ground, the Aggies are building a framework for what could be a formidable offensive powerhouse.

Texas A&M fans, keep your eyes peeled. With Reed’s work ethic and the strategic roster enhancements, the Aggies are gearing up for a compelling season—one that promises to be built around Reed’s unique talent and the growing potential of the offensive squad.

Ahead of schedule? They've already engraved the 2025 Heisman with his name. Who do you think you're dealing with here?

Exactly how do you get "ahead of schedule" two weeks after a middling performance in a meaningless bowl game?

They would shelve him in a New York second if they could get a stud QB1 from the portal.

I’m confused. Liucci very clearly said that Weigman is that guy.

Looks like you're forgetting the Beef O'Brady's 17th Somewhat Annual Chili Cheese Fries Jabroni Bowl from fabulous Ocala, FL in front of tens of fans and possibly more watching on tv? 8-5, but they were decimated by injuries and opt-outs and didn't really care to be there

According to aggy, you can be “ahead of schedule” by posting cell phone videos of a player working out at the local Planet Fitness during the holding break.
