They would shelve him in a New York second if they could get a stud QB1 from the portal.

I’m confused. Liucci very clearly said that Weigman is that guy.

He is that guy.  He's just now that guy for Cougar High.

He’ll end up at Tarleton or ACU.

ACU isn’t the home for wayward foosball players, is it?  My son graduated from there last year but I never even went to a football game. I know they recently moved up to D1, but didn’t think they took on character issues for football.

They might have cleaned it up a bit.  When ACU was in D2, they took in some players who had issues which was not and still is not uncommon at that level.   They were not the leaders at doing that in Texas.   That was left to A&I (TAMUK) and aggy Commerce ( East Texas A&M) and West Texas A&M.

When I did undergrad at A&I back in the early 90’s, the standing joke was the Texas Dept of Corrections could open a probation/ parole office at the athletic building because they had some real gems they took in from programs from all over the nation at that time,   I recall they had a few big names from OU who ended up there after the scandal that caused Switzer to leave and would’ve resulted in death penalty had the NCAA not got cold feet about their ultimate punishment after the SMU fall out,  There were numerous others to mention, but for some it was a good move and today they are on the straight .

If he can't "adjust" and fit in at College Station, his mental health is just fine.

It'd be alarming if he got there and said "Wow! Beautiful! What a great choice I made!"

“The architecture is stunning!”

He's clearly had mental health issues from the jump - Lubbock and College Station.

"inability to adjust well" is such coded nonsense. He's been there two weeks, he has hardly gotten started adjusting. If it's something personal and not football related, just say he's stepping away.

Then again these twitter accounts aren't actual reporters, so they can say whatever tf they want I guess. Technically Johntay also suffered from "an inability to adjust well" after 48 hours in Seattle. That's one way to frame it.

If he is truly dealing with mental health issues then I wish the dude well and hope he gets some help.

If it's just a cover for a guy who can't be bothered to handle his shit in a semi-adult way, that's something completely different. He needs to grow the fuck up.

Have a feeling he'll end up at some place like baylor to help him find God and tear it up . Waco is the promised land compared to lubbock or college station

That's a devil's triad if there ever was one, but Waco is the armpit of Texas and the worst of the three with a bullet.   I could see him end up at Baylor, though.

His "mental health issues" was a fist fight with Marcel Reed.   I feel bad for the kid, as it seems clear he couldn't handle the spotlight and scrutiny.   More likely to wash out than anything else, but I hope he lands on his feet somewhere.

Texas has played in 2 conference championship games and 4 CFP games in the last 2 seasons.

aggy last played in a conference championship game 26 seasons ago.

Ya stupid sip, that narrative only works if you ignore ESPIN and BOMC. Even Kirk H. said they were purposely keeping the might Texas Ags Bulldawgs out of the CFP since 2010. It gives me the red ass to think about it. Why dont you be honest with yourself and admit Texas Bulldogs would have easily one the natty in 2012, 13 (JFF), 15, 17, 18, 20 (look at the record ya stupid sip), 22, 23, and 24. The reason why Stumblin Sumlin and Jimbo left was because they knew people were keep the Ags back. Tale as old as time. WHOOP!

I just had a flashback to a bet I made with a douchebag Ag Comp Sci PhD, where he claimed the 'horns wouldn't do better than 3-3 at home in Mack Brown's first year.  All we had to do for me to win would be to go 4-2.

We went 6-0, with the piece de resistance being Ricky breaking the record on a 60-yard TD run.  The joke was on me, though, I later had to let him in my house for a small baseball game-watching party where he paid off.  He also ramped his douchiness up to 11.

I wonder if, when they were courting Hudson, if they had a meet and greet with Reveille. If reveille had a natural tendency to engage Hudson that would have told them a lot. Maybe get some pictures from both sides so people can see the interaction.

This would have been helpful.
