Texas A&M Sports Properties and Azuna announced a new partnership on Tuesday that will bring to life the university's rich history of tradition in a modern way to its loyal community. Azuna, a natural odor eliminator company with a vast line of indoor air freshening products including gels, sprays and wipes, will create a custom scent as part of the collaboration called "Scent of Tradition."

So, jizz?

Take it for what it is worth...

Not sure why I subjected myself to this, but a quick google search of "Aggie ring gold" yielded as the top choice...

https://www.aggienetwork.com/ring/configure/

A key option - on the exact page - was between 10k and 14k gold.  There was a clear $600 difference - and the 10k option is around $2k.

Also, anyone who attended a MS or HS science class would know that "pure product" is not what you want for any piece of jewelry - pure 24k is too damned soft.

Anyway, I am not sure why I spent 5 mins of my life to essentially say, "ignorant Aggy says ignorant things on the interwebs," but here we are.

I do not understand the allure of class rings, but I am not a jewelry person, either.  I got a HS class ring - the cheapest one available - and have no idea where it is today.

I went home after Army Basic Training and lost my HS (88) ring in a friend/girls back yard. Lost like 30lbs during BT and that SOB was loose.

I’m sure their lawn mower found it that Spring in SETX.

Hook’em!!!

Wait, something meant to represent an aggy education is made of fools gold?    Isn’t that what makes it authentic?

A couple more silly things about the Aggie class rings...

https://www.aggienetwork.com/traditionsthroughtime/strengthaggiering/

  • purchase rate of class rings is 94% of eligible students (wow!)
  • around 15k students per year
  • largest college ring account (no kidding?)
  • Aggie ring account is 3x the #2 account at Balfour
    • Aggie: 15k rings
    • Clemson: 4500
    • Texas: 2500

So far as traditions go, this one is low on the weirdness scale for aTm.  I do suspect there is a shitload of peer pressure, though.

They realized where they were and started calling ICE on themselves.

I’ve been there myself, amigos.

Texas A&M baseball is approved for huge expansion for Blue Bell Park, showing Schloss's feigned excuse for leaving was insufficient
When Texas A&M baseball returned home from the College World Series last summer to find that their head coach had bolted in the dead of night, fans were wondering what the reason could be. Well, I should say, outside fans were wondering about it— the Aggie faithful had a lot of other things on their mind.

Most neutral third parties could see just how scummy this move by Schlossnagle was, especially after former players exposed his past actions towards them. That didn't stop the Texas media spin machine from attempting to get things rolling in their favor, but this time it didn't work.

What their excuses amounted to was a lack of commitment by A&M to improved facilities— ironic, given what the Longhorns are dealing with in that regard. Of course, actual program insiders have insisted all along that there was never a question that A&M would be improving the facilities at Olsen Field and Blue Bell Park— if Schloss's departure did anything, as a matter of fact, it hastened the fundraising required.

Now, that project is taking some huge steps. As a first move, the Aggies have approved a new player facility to be added to Blue Bell Park.

That's not all, though. According to Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball, the renovation of the stadium is the next domino to fall, which will take place in 2026.

Conceptual images of the player development center have been released, which you can view in the tweet below.

Official images are no doubt soon to follow.

The Aggie faithful always knew that this was a program that A&M has been committed to building in a big way, despite the calumnies of the former coach. This is the first big step along that road— one that leads to A&M being a national baseball power for years to come.

We have won 9 or more games in the regular season 19 times in our history. 14.6% of our seasons have resulted in 9 or more wins in the regular season.

Yes, 9-3 would be a very good year for Texas A&M. Where SHOULD we be? I don't know. But we're not a program that has ever routinely won 9 games, even prior to being in such a tough league as the SEC.

this is from aggy board. It’s about as sane a post as any aggy I’ve ever seen. If they ever realize this and accept it, they’ll be headed in the right direction. But they won’t. This dude needs to watch his back.

Wow, they finally figured out that was just an excuse for Schloss leaving.

If they ever understand the real reason he left A&M and came to UT, they might be onto something.

But, they won't.

That level of understanding is beyond their capacity.
