They might start by actually just calling it UT or Texas.  Having a specific pejorative name for tu just underscores the little brother mentality.  Even when they're arguing to establish their own identity, they just can't help but undermine it with little brotherisms.  It's in their DNA and I don't suspect it will ever change.

Yes, it's equally stupid which is why I don't use it.

But like @jimmyjazz said, it's a small minority of Texas fans on a couple of message boards in a tiny corner of the internet.

Aggies use "tu" ubiquitously, in pretty much all social situations, including and especially when it's awkward or completely inappropriate-- for example business meetings with people from a wide variety of educational backgrounds that don't understand and don't care about any silly regional college rivalries.

On multiple occasions I've seen A&M engineers giddily use "tu" in business meetings with visitors who are UT grads.  The Aggies all giggle, the UT grads (visitors or in house) are just disgusted.  It's completely inappropriate in an office environment, but there you go.

Oh yeah, and it's especially embarrassing for them when there are also engineers and business managers from Stanford or MIT or Harvard or or whatever.  It's so cringey.

Yup they do that too.  In business meetings, in church, pretty much anywhere.  It's just some redass good bull.

No doubt, but dont tell me you wouldn't try a Funnel Cake/Nutella sammich. Sure, I'd be sick within 30 minutes, having consumed about 2 months worth of calories, carbs and cholesterol..  like all my trips to the State Fair... but... worth it once a year.

I think we should be stone-cold serious about mocking aggy the Texas A&M Fightin' Aggies. It diminishes the genre of aggy Aggie jokes to mix in silly misspellings. Come to think of it, maybe we should abandon making light of them in any fashion whatsoever.

If you have to explain to a layperson what your insult means, it’s definitely a shitty insult.

So let's play with this fan fiction for a moment shall we...

Let's imagine a world were aggie could fund such a High School (they can't), get elite level HS coaches, trainers and staff to move to college station (they won't), and convince parents of highly athletic kids to send their children to BCS for a "discount rate for those willing to "?make aggie their first choice upon graduation" (not happening).

What does make aggie their first choice even mean? A commitment by a parent to contractually obligated their athletic child to playing for aggie? Yeah... that seems super legit, legally possible and not in any way um... yeah.. ill go creepy.

But lets just say that happenes. How many kids graduate from a "military academy" in podunk nowhere and think, I want to stick around here!!!!

Expand

And once graduated from Texas A&M High School for the Athletically Inclined, these high-level athletes are now going to:

  • Ignore NIL opportunities from other programs
  • Pay tuition at a reduced rate at A&M vs getting a full ride elsewhere
  • Not consider the transfer portal

Due to some sort of loyalty (or stupidity)? Pretty much limits their recruiting pool to red asses or dumbasses.

That fan base as a whole is just delusional. How can they even possibly think something like that would work and then type your thoughts into the mainstream?

aggy will always aggy. Generational morons keep the maroon/moron mindset alive.

Aggie fans are racist pieces of shit. Breaking news at 11

""It's been crazy,'' Carter said. "Been getting death threats, people calling me racial slurs, all types of stuff because I'm missing free throws, missing shots. If you're a little kid and not mentally strong, it can mess you up, but I feel like I try to approach it like a grown man.''

The senior guard played nine minutes Thursday and finished with 10 points.

"I'm just happy I could help us win,'' Carter added in the interview. "... It's hard, especially when it's coming from your own fan base. ... It does get challenging at times, but at the end of the day, I'm comfortable with who I am as a man, who I am as a basketball player.''

Texags has spent all morning in a thorough self-examination of these matters and has concluded that this must be a conspiracy to bring aggy down and its probably the sips behind those messages. IF it even happened at all.....

https://texags.com/forums/7/topics/3534232/2

Its easier to blame the sips or outright deny those exchanges ever occurred than to look inward. That's why things will never change. Fast forward to 10, 20, or even 50 years from now, and they will still be squeezing each others nuts and wondering why their loser shitstain of school keeps failing in every pursuit known to man.

"I sure hope the next 100 years of blaming the sips for all of our failures go better than the last 100 years did."

Well, the reason things will never change is that they generally agree with the message, they just don't want to APPEAR like they agree with the message.

Help please for an old. My son wants to watch the Barstool / Kayce Smith video in which she first claims A&M is above Texas and then later declares they are almost like us, just like OU and OSU. I am having trouble finding it. I have done some searches but clearly without an obvious success.
