That’s one of the most disturbing songs I’ve ever heard. Great bass line though.

I’m fairly certain that We used to dance to this song at middle school dances.

I feel like freshman year I remember some friends mentioning that they had seen The Judys at that concert venue the year before and I remembered “Oh yeah, they sing ‘Guyana Punch’.”

Think I knew the basics of the story, but mainly I remembered it as a soft slow song where everyone ducked low and waited for the explosion of energy to jump up and bounce around, mirroring the energy of that segment of the song.

It was a great middle school dance song.

They ARE a smaller program/mid-major. That’s what they can’t understand or accept and why they are perpetually tortured.

They’re such nerds at the baseball games with the bubbles and counting balls and everything. Be normal human beings my God.

Having played college baseball, the only thing these antics instilled into the opposing team was, “we can’t lose to these idiots”.

The funny thing about him talking about continually hiring losers is that Buzz had more success at vatech than he’s had at aggy.

Apparently buzz has figured out the problem and wants to bail. But this guy hasn’t figured it out.

How? It wasnt on TV, so unless the great grandparents took a toddler to the game, he didn't see it.

He says right there that his grandfather was 4 years old when it happened, suggesting he was born in '35. Someone born in '35 would presumably start college in '53 or '54, maybe. Math seems good to me.

And I doubt he means his grandfather witnessed it it person, just that he was alive at the time.

Invasion of Poland.

Those thousands of Aggies in the Waffen SS must have felt like a million dollars, conquer Poland and then woop woop a MNC vs Tulane. Of course then the monkey paw curled.

I mean, if they're smart, they should money whip the shit out of Beard. I think he would strongly consider it. He'd even get Rodney Terry to be his assistant again too.

It's not like there was a national championship game.

They were named #1 at the end of the season by whichever poll. If they went to one game at some point, he saw them kinda sorta win a national championship.

he said his grandfather was at aggy in the 50's, I don't think he could have seen the 39 game.

He didn’t see it at age 4, unless he was there in person. Mass production of TV sets didn’t start until the ‘40s. Radio broadcast was all aggy had, unless they were at the game.

Does anyone have the Jimbo, Schloss, and Buzz next come the championships Texags article?

Well, to be fair it didn’t say exactly where those three would win their championships.

Yo that was for a cancer victim.

Ovarian cancer awareness. SEC softball teams have been doing it since 2019

Put that in perspective. Hitler was rolling through Poland and FB games only on radio, is when aggy won its only FB Championship.

Hook’em!!!

Texas has four football NCs. Each came with 50 stars on the U.S. flag. Aggy has one, and it came under a 48 star flag.

Recently, an Ag friend tried to chide me about the ‘70 MBC (UPI award, before the bowl game loss). As if the Ags wouldn’t absolutely claim such a NC, and build statues to it.

UPI and AP were the two organizations anyone cared about in terms of the final poll.  We had nothing to do with the fact that UPI awarded us the title before our bowl game.  (Nebraska won the AP title.)

Your friend is . . . an Aggie.
