Wait- does TexAgs have anything to do with their NIL collective? Beyond helping to raise funds?

Some info from when I looked into it a bit previously. At one point I think basically all the infrastructure for their collective went through TexAgs but I think they’ve slowly separated them (to what extent is unclear)

ctj already added some context, but when I looked into it a bit earlier this year (see spoilered section below), it seemed like all donations to the collective were going through TexAgs. It now looks like they have their own Stripe account that goes to Texas Aggies United, LLC. Smart. I wonder if all the banned TexAgs posters are able to donate now.

The part about TexAgs "providing content production, technology, administrative, marketing, and athlete activation support and services" is still on their website. Personally, I question the value of that support because their store is currently down.

I'm confused.  If our background check turned up so many issues with Beard, why did A&M want to hire him?  And in what world is 3.5 weeks firing someone "immediately"?  Beard was given plenty of chances to at least act contrite but he chose to double down.  I'd call that another red flag, Billy.

Well that, plus, Texas absolutely did not have to fire him.  Texas could have kept him, and then when the charges were dropped, acted like everything was okay.

Which would have been the wrong thing to do.

Just like the ags attempting to hire him was  the wrong thing to do.

I know Liucci is in perpetual Baghdad Bob mode, but between Fisher, Schloss, and Williams/Beard, he's having to do overtime. Wait until they eventually hire someone and Liucci has to spin it as a better hire than Miller. And none of it matters, because if the guy wins he's going to leave, and if he loses - specifically compared to Miller - it's simply business as usual.

In terms of my entertainment value it was the right thing to do, so I beg to differ.

STSU was the #1 party school in the US back in the day, per Playboy.  I worked at Safeway on Riverside Drive in '74. During some spring campus party/festival, San Marcos ran out of beer, and people drove up to Austin to get some.

My terrestrial radio in my car is often on ESPN Austin, along with a few local indie FM music stations.  I don't drive much, I mostly work from home, but I had to run out to the store tonight and had the distinct displeasure of hearing Trey "Boner" Elling and Justin Wells talking Texas football, and I almost ran off the road in disgust.  Looch isn't the only idiot in the media fleecing the constituents.

The three other people listening appreciated their take.

In fairness, the BBQ they serve at football recruiting events improved.

The aggies are THE blue blood of driving up coaching salaries in the big 2 sports.

If only they had a Business School.

I think I see why they haven't won a men's title anyone cares about since the days of Hitler invading Poland.

Any coach with the considerable intelligence and ability necessary to win in that horrible cult environment is too smart to ever accept a job in that horrible cult environment.

Peeked into texags live to get a laugh at the misery and caught last 5-10 minutes. Marcel Reed is only a 185 lbs. Hoping he gets to 190. Wow. That’s light for murderers row as much as they’ll run RPO.

Yeah, a rail running CK’s offense is a recipe for the 2nd string QB to get in by week 3.

Timeline notwithstanding, history will show that the truly great Artist of the Twentieth Century was Salvador Dalí.

There was no Gala - it was always Miz Armybrat.

I demand that you meet me on the field of honor, sir. Miz Brat would never cook her own pet rabbit.

I happen to agree, but in a odd fortuitous moment I was burning some time in Laguna Beach and opted to stroll the Laguna Beach Art Museum. They had a full installation of Helen Lunderberg

I was absolutely amazed and impressed by her work.
