There's Mennonite settlements all over that area, we've seen them in Chetumal and Bacalar

Belizean Mennonite talk not going away.

I just find it fantastic that the Central American nation of former British Honduras has a bunch of German speaking Mennonites living in Spanish Lookout. That's absurd. But then again, this is the aggy thread, so there should be no surprises anymore.

The guy with the wrist tape and hand on hip (right side) is my Dad. That was a picture of them waiting on the results of the coin flip vs OU in ‘63. OU actually entered the weekend #1 vs Texas #2.

That was the last time both teams entered that weekend in October: #1 vs #2.

Hook’em!!!

My dad was visiting at the U. Of Missouri (his Alma Mater - Class of 1933) during that OU game.
Coincidentally, he was attending the Tigers’ football game at Faurot Field in their Memorial Stadium.
He was vastly amused at the end of each quarter when the Mizzou PA announcer would give updates of the Texas/OU game score.
Each announcement brought a huge roar of cheers from the OU-hating Tiger crowd. The final score of 28-7 generated a lot of Schadenfreude in Columbia that afternoon.

"Says a lot when the players won't follow the coach."

Isn't...isn't that the way this works?  Could have sworn I heard it a lot last summer...

Something for girls to ask Uber drivers picking them up from party scenes- “What is my name?” Or “What is the name of your assigned rider?”

I heard a comedian one time say that Ted Bundy would average a triple double today because of Uber.
