We have over 100 years of data on aggy. And aggy will always be a.600 maybe .675 in their good years type of program.

With the most transcendent player in their history they couldn’t even find a way in which to win their division, much less their conference championship.

When they write books about them, they still end in failure. The Junction boys didn’t win shit. For all the fanfare they talk of that era they still couldn’t beat Texas. And lost Bryant in the process. What other universities would even consider writing a book about failing to win........anything?

Im not saying they haven’t had some successful people come out of that shit hole. I just know when they call role it is a short fucking list.

I would rather listen to Gary P. Nunn over those 2 aggys anyways. I don’t think he graduated from Texas but he still put in a couple years on the 40 Acres.

That’s enough to get him a ring in some places.

Aggy all-time vs current P5 teams.

394-378-28        16 games over .500

That's counting SWC days vs BU and TCU for a combined

134-60-16. (All-time)

they want to talk about Kansas....  let's take the SWC kansas' for a total of

320-378-12.   All-time gainst teams with a pulse.

Thats leaving them with KU (9-2) and ISU (10-1)...

I didn't want to sully the George Bush death thread, so I'll post this on here.

I was waiting to get the oil changed in my truck.  The Firestone shop had WFAA (Dallas ABC station) on with coverage of the funeral.  Out of nowhere comes the most nauseating "live" report I'd ever seen about how Bush fell in love with aggy, the tradition, the corp, etc... It, quite literally, sounded like one of those ads you see for a college at the halftime of football games.  Well, the print version showed up tonight with some of these gems:

  Quote

'I'm proud to be an Aggie' — Why did President George H.W. Bush – a graduate of Yale – fall so deeply in love with Texas A&M University? Aggies say it's just a perfect match.

Expand
  Quote

But he fell in love with much about his adopted home state – and at the top of the list of things he cherished most is Texas A&M University.

Expand
  Quote

“A&M is all about pride, patriotism, faith, family, loyalty, respect – all the corny things that sometimes people make fun of - here they matter,” said Mark Welsh, dean of the Bush School of Government and Public Service on the Texas A&M University campus

Expand
  Quote

Bush was also deeply fond of Texas A&M’s strong military tradition and its renowned Corps of Cadets.

Expand
  Quote

Bush spoke at Texas A&M’s 1984 spring commencement as vice president and gave the crowd a signature “Gig ‘em.”

Expand
  Quote

“He believed that the school – he told me this personally three or four times – is his living legacy because these are the men and women who will go on to do the kind of service he was so proud of doing himself.”

Expand

The reporter  - Teresa Woodard - just kept going on and on and on about how great aggy was.  Decided to look up her bio.

  Quote

born and raised in Dallas near White Rock Lake. I went to DISD schools and then Texas A&M University

Expand

Leave it up to a dumbass aggy to pimp her school during the honoring of a dead president.

Link to story and video if anyone wants a good vomit.

I thought of him as an honorable guy. But, I know enough about him to know he isn’t from Texas and kept residence there to benifit from the much better tax code then that of a currupt Massachusetts. Just as my family, and many others have done..

He was shrewd doing business. He may have inherited money. But it appears he didn’t have any problems making more of it when opportunity knocked.

This tells me aggy had to give him something to be associated with CS. No one goes there for free.

It should surprise nobody that aggy has taken every opportunity possible to pimp their school in the wake of 41’s passing, instead of simply honoring the man himself. My Facebook feed has been littered with aggy puff-pieces, patting themselves on the back for being associated with 41 and making his passing all about them. So, status quo in gomerville.

As per Fox news this morning...

He is being buried at College Station because it was founded as a military College. What a crock of dung don't any news outlets research anything or do they just drink the same damn Kool-Aid aggy fish do?  Of course, maybe they didn't want to say that it was founded as a school for incorrigible Farm boys.

President Bush gave the commencement speech at UT in 1990.
“Whatever you do, live a life of adventure and meaning so brilliant that, like a Roman candle it lights up the world. Dazzle us. Astonish us. Be extraordinary.”

- PRESIDENT Bush
1990

We could claim him too, right?

I graduated in '90 and throughout 41's speech at Memorial Stadium Hugo, Dennison and the rest of their crew did everything they could to disrupt it by blowing whistles and banging drums outside the stadium. Fucking assholes.

Herbstreit saying UGA being left out of the playoffs was more about "politics". aggy defending SECSECSEC.

Question asked by another user:

"In regards to this, I have a serious question: does UGA or Clemson get in if Clemson had lost to Pitt?"

TwiztedImagedumbfuck aggy[-173] 0 points 23 minutes ago

I'm not the guy you responded to, but in your hypothetical...UGA, all day. Clemson's schedule was pathetic. They lose any games and they drop below even a 2 loss UGA in my mind.

I think UGA is a better team than OSU or OU, but there was no way in hell the committee was going to snub a 1 loss conference champ on UGA's behalf. That's why Herb is calling it politics, because he thinks UGA is the better team but the committee won't pull the trigger because the fallout and cries of "SEC bias" would be overwhelming.

UGA now looks better than the UGA that lost to LSU; the D is top notch and they can run or throw with efficiency. OU now doesn't look any different than the OU that lost to UT though; the defense is still a dumpster fire and the running game is one dimensional. The OSU now doesn't look any different than the OSU that lost to Purdue either; their D is still suspect and they rely on the passing game to get it done.

Herb's a bit abrasive about it, but I agree with him. They left UGA out because they can't afford to piss off the Big 12 and Big 10. I'm honestly surprised they slid UGA ahead of OSU to be honest.

OU is 100% better than they were in October. I can't believe anyone would even throw that into question. They will win the CFP if they are taken lightly.

Georgia's schedule was only less pathetic because they played Bama. Clemson only had Ga Southern and Furman as gimmes OOC, while Georgia had Austin Peay, MTSU, and UMass. OSU had only Tulane and even with the loss they still had by far the best win of any of the three. (OK Oregon State sucks, but they are better than either of those FCS teams.)
