Be very careful on assumptions, as Freshwater’s campus relies on one flying into Memphis, which is in another state. Then driving over an hour to get to campus. Hello, same as aggy! Must fly into Houston, then bus over an hour. Joey Fresh is used to that, but the main exception is the environment once at the site.

Ole Miss has the gals dressed in their finest vs aggy girls wearing “bubble painted” overalls! Just saying.

Hook’em!!!

I've always found it ironic (at best) that those asshats have the atm logo centered on their ass, with the looong part of the "T" appear like it's coming out of...or going into the crack of their ass.

Well, when your football team got drilled by Texas for a hundred years or so...

Thank you expanded playoffs for letting dogshit teams like tbe fucking Diamondbacks pretend to be playing for a championship

Using that logic, Rangers shouldn’t have been there either. Backdoored into the playoffs.

All levity and aggy joaks aside, I think it would be very, very bad for them to hire Urban. And I don't mean bad for them - at least not until the next heart attack or brain arachnoids.

there has been a lot written about his bit and folks saying they don't think it works in the era of the portal, and i tend to agree with everything written.

Baylor paying Aranda's buyout this year seems just as unlikely as A&M paying Jimbo's

i know some folks who know some folks at the BOR level who say it's happening and they said that BEFORE and AFTER last weeks game. the guy almost never speaks in absolutes, but he did on this specific topic.

To add to NoName's mention,

It seems awful quiet on the aggy media/team front this week. I'm actually starting to think there is a chance there are plans to can Jimbo if aggies lose this game. I think the writing is on the wall that recruiting already in a precarious position and the narrative has switched to "are the aggies going to put it all together next year" to "are the aggies going to fire jimbo next year".  I think everyone is comfortably in the "he's gone, but when" camp.  After this game they have two pretty much guaranteed wins before LSU.  Firing him after losing this game would be clean sitting at 5-4 with a loaded roster.

This week just seems "off" for billy and the boys. I actually think they may know something.

I don’t think they pull the trigger until they have the next savior lined up. That means, in my mind, Dabo or Urban. Maybe they could get behind Elko, but I doubt it.
Anyone have any pics of the drapes in the background of Urban’s latest zoom call to compare against the CS Hampton Inn?

Replicating their unseen T-back. Got to let others know if you are down to bang. It's like the pineapple in the front yard in Sun City. And no, I will not be taking questions at this time. Thank you.

Could be. But due to years of casual observation when it comes to that place I doubt they do anything they should do and even if they do, it will end the same as it always has, poorly, with two left feet firmly in their ssses.

Fucking lol!  That was so unintentionally funny I’m still smiling about it.  It’s like the worlds worse open mic night material said with the worst delivery.  I personally love it.   MOAR!!!!

Their capacity to continue to raise the bar of self-humiliation is just astounding.

Also, firing JimBob after getting rolled in Oxford makes sense. And that's precisely why they won't do it. That and how the hell are they going to raise $100M+ for buyout/signing bonus for the next jamoke?

everything that was there about why Urban made sense for Texas (not pulling him away from another job he didn't want to leave like Venables, no buyout, ready to go day 1, can focus on the new team stuff / staff buildout vs coaching the last few games) also makes sense for A&M

all that said, he's in the Jimmy Johnson situation where he's making a shitload to work like 15 saturdays a year and not have to deal with recruiting, boosters, NIL, game planning, late nights, etc.

can't imagine he leaves all that to go live in College Station, Texas.

Dabo is another interesting story where he is well poised to make $$$ at Alabama when Saban leaves - and he's absolutely their first call. why would he leave Clemson where he has it all for Texas A&M where he would be starting from scratch across the board and coming into a much less talented team than he would if he followed Saban or stayed at Clemson for another 5 years?

i think you are right on the next name needing to be in place before your jettison your current guy into the sun. you have to have a big enough name that you can fundraise off of (genuinely don't think Elko is a big enough name for them)

the name guys you have any hope of pulling at this point are folks like Kiffin who have a ton of positive but also negatives and who also hate you with a burning passion. or someone like Harbaugh, but can you imagine going from Ann Arbor to College Station? plus you know he will leave for the NFL at the first opportunity. Huge Freeze would probably kill it at A&M but they waited too long to go after him. PF Fleck has the cult thing down, but is in a comfortable job and his star has faded a ton over the last few years. i love Klieman and Leipold, but they aren't big enough names to get the $$$ out.

they could potentially offer someone like James Franklin but the guy is like 2 years off of signing a 10 year extension.

Lanning and someone like DeBoer aren't going anywhere. plus a younger up and coming guy is going to be hard to sell. Traylor would do a good job as well, but again not a big enough name.

honestly Matt Ruhle probably would have killed it at A&M so glad he's not an option.

...all of this to say you know who the perfect hire for A&M would be? the father/son duo of Kirk and Brian Ferentz. he's pissed at iowa. he makes "only" 7 million. he's a great coach. he has experience in a town and university where everything revolves around the football team. he has a track record that A&M would be incredibly envious of. he has two losing seasons since 2000. he brings along his own offensive (in more ways than one) protege. he loves defense and white boys from small towns. he's borderline racist. he has perhaps the whitest coaching background and career of all time

IT MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE.

Am I the only one who thinks there is zero point zero chance Dipshit Dabo ends up at Bama?  Five years ago?  Sure.

Yeah. He was the heir appareant, but in the new world of NIL and transfer portals, Bama ain't replacing Saban with anybody that might handicap their competitiveness with self-imposed restrictions.

If I'm Dabo, I honestly consider taking my millions and two national championship rings and calling it a career. He's only gonna grow more disenchanted with the college game, and I don't see him as an NFL guy.
