This is the corps I marched in (although not this particular year).  Tell me the Fightin' Texum Aggie Band could do this.

I played drums in LHB.

That core stuff is fucking impressive.

We used to laugh at the Aggie gomers carrying around brass without mouth pieces. COSPLAY band and army.

SIAP - I scrolled back a few pages and searched and didn't see this.  Crazy story if true.

aggy grad says he accidentally ended up in the corps, and then the band, and somehow faked his way through four years without ever actually playing an instrument.

You've left out the "n" and added "rtifici" for no discernible reason. I'm inclined to assume a small stroke or perhaps a cat or dog on the keyboard. I might be willing to suppose you were just getting frisky with a sheep.

Aggie buddy's freshly-indoctrinated Aggie son talked about this "march so complex that it shouldn't even be possible" stuff. I commented that if their engineers were stumped by it then it doesn't say a lot for their engineers and that I'm sure I could find some people in Austin to explain it to them fairly easily.. They were unamused. (And everyone in the Wendy's drive-thru clapped.)

I've seen the Fightin' Aggie Band quite a few times and it's a cool show they do, but it gets very tiring to deal with Aggies wanting to make their "good enoughs" into "the greatest evers".

They are so full of shit about their band. All they do is march 12:5, no tempo changes and they march forward making 45/90/180 degree turns. It's fucking child's play.

That is amazingly hilarious. Out of curiosity why didn’t they have mouthpieces? Was it just to have numbers on the field with members that couldn’t play? I have 2 cousins that played in the LHB years ago who are still doing their thing at the HS level now.
