aggy LOVES to (manipulate numbers) and claim they are a massive research powerhouse. Other than really killer guardrails, cotton flour that was supposed to feed the world by now, 50 million doses of flu vaccine within three weeks of any pandemic, cold fusion, and alchemy, can anyone list three things that A&M research has developed?

Just for fun, I'm posting the breakdown that shows aggy research numbers. They count all research at every institution in their system as having been done on the College Station campus, and they include state agency research as research being done by the university. From these numbers, one can see the research done by the state agencies exceeds that done by the university, so when aggy bleats about their "research expenditures," cut that figure in half and you will still be far overestimating their actual research expenditures.

From the research vault -

aggy doesn't borrow money, they "re-advance" past loans.

As a bonus, a reminder aggy athletics is (yet again) unable to meet its financial obligations. They have already refinanced the loans on the stadium to extend the final maturity and lower annual debt service.

Turdition.

Um, hello, what about the world’s least-exciting, windowless train?  Incomplete list is incomplete.

The obscurity of what aggys hold as “defining aggy excellence” is truly something to behold.

The “national alltime record for most wins thru first 6 seasons as a Head Coach.” Whoop!

aggy logic. Simply amazing. It’s as if years seven and eight never happened.

I will award three hundred internet points to anyone who can name who’s second on that list. Lol.

Jimbo holds the national alltime record for most wins thru first 6 seasons as a Head Coach for a reason. But he's got to fix our weak spots like he's doing on everything so far (only failing at recruiting inside-Linebacker now). Jimbo went 9-1 with our fairly average players in 2020 despite bad QB-play in 50% of our games that year. I do want a new OC just to further take us over the top into clinching a trophy during these next 4 years.”

We lost, but we really won. Sure thing if you don't look at the final score, I guess?

To be fair, didn't we really beat LSU last year? We just didn't beat them twice in the same game. By definition, you cannot blow a play dead for forward progress being stopped for a player that does not have the ball. First time I've ever seen that call.

In the 1960s, UT students and faculty protested on campus and around Austin against U.S. involvement in Vietnam, insisting that the people of that nation posed no existential threat to our nation.

aggys, on the other hand, pranced around in their military costumes, insisting they were "better Americans," and insulted the UT protestors in ways so profound and disgusting that decorum prohibits listing them here.

In the nearly half-century since the military conflict in Vietnam ended, history has recorded exactly zero instances of aggression by Vietnam against out country, as well as zero existential threats posed to the people of Texas or the nation as a whole.

In short, the people of UT were absolutely correct, and (predictably) the aggys were wrong, misguided, ill-served by their leadership, clueless, ignorant, child-like, and deserving of all the scorn they received at the time, have received since, and will receive as long as Texas A&M exists, both in their current status as a branch of The University of Texas and after that ill-conceived status is terminated.

Time has come for the administrators, students, alumni, and supporters of Texas A&M to issue a very formal and very public apology for their despicable actions at that time to The University of Texas, its students, alumni, supporters and, especially to those who participated in those 1960s protests.

Time has come, aggys, for you to do some long-needed self-examination, admit your wrongs, and apologize. Time has come for aggys to learn what it is like to do the right thing in life. Doing so will do far more for aggy culture than anyone else.

aggys, history is waiting for you to admit your wrongs. Do this soon. Do this for yourselves.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

I think they made a purple carrot too.

Indeed.  But of course, carrots were originally purple anyway, so like pretty much everything else in ag history, they actually succeeded in doing... nothing.

Let's keep in mind the thinking The Rudder Association (the racial hate group of alumni who truly run the institution) strives to impart upon every administrator, faculty member, and student:

"“It’s about numbers,” Weber is quoted by the minutes. “If you don’t have enough kids in the Corps, they’ll overrun. It’s the same thing in our country. If we don’t reproduce, have kids and raise them right … we’ll be overrun. Other groups having tons of kids and are coming here to overrun our country."

https://www.thebatt.com/news/the-rudder-association-a-deep-dive-into-the-conservative-former-student-group-with-plans-to/article_ee9f31ec-9dae-11ec-a4cc-efe4856b436c.html

I especially challenge any of those worthless robe-wearing Rudder Foundation fuckers to take me up on my $1 million "yell leader" challenge. If they are so damned absorbed in promoting "aggy traditions," why don't we openly discuss those "traditions." From Jefferson Davis, to Sul Ross, to today's Rudder Association, there has always been a deep sickness that largely defines aggy culture.

The people of Texas deserve better than to have their children taught "whitewashed" fairy tales under the guise of education.

The people of Texas deserve better than The Rudder Foundation.

The people of Texas deserve better than Texas A&M.

Predictably, the comments are better than the article.

"Real learning is invariably a process expanding one's understanding of how the world (natural or social) really is rather than how people want the world to be."

That will blow some redneck trade school minds.

Of course the aggys will bleat that that type of thinking is "the kind of hippie talk they teach at tu!"

aggyland is rather amped up this morning:

"My soon-to-be high school senior wanted to visit Mays Business School. We looked up what opportunities the school presented to those who might want to attend. The Leadership Academy looked great. We read further and found out they don't want whites. They are very clear about it. The focus on skin color is disgusting and rather retrograde." https://texags.com/forums/16/topics/3285459/replies/61929746

How do they think those excluded on the basis of skin color felt for all those years the school didn't want Blacks. Or Hispanics. Or Asians, or women, or....

They bleat about "tradition" but completely fail to acknowledge there is a long tradition at their school of repugnant behavior, complete assholes being given far too much control, and people whose behavior needs to be completely repudiated. Let's start from the beginning. Jefferson Davis was chosen as the first school president. Do they think open minded people made that choice? Fifteen years after that choice, they brought Sul "Jim Crow" Ross in as as school president. aggy racists today try to insist Ross was "the black man's best friend." The ignorance that is perpetuated at A&M in the guise of education has long been astonishing.

The guy who was bitching about A&M "not wanting whites" needs to come to grips with the fact the school doesn't want dumb whites. Little white snowflake has to compete, and we all know aggys don't do well in competitive endeavors. And therein lies the irony. I'm sure little white snowflake would be a consummate aggy, but the people of Texas are starting to wake up to the fact they deserve better than the "traditional" Texas A&M.

They still don't really want them.

obviously the most important thing they developed was this, right?
