Swing and a miss… I love watching Aggies struggle.

I have good news for you this season.  But it won't last....just wait until their #119th ranked recruiting class gets on campus next year!!!

#6 ranked team after 8-4 and losing a ton of talent and their DC.  This team looks terrible and this offense looks like shit.  Same ole same ole.  Enjoy playing in this offense Evan Stewart.

BJ Foster!!!

Nice play by him. King put it right on him.

BJ didn’t want to listen to his teammates telling him to get down.

Honestly the more I look at it I think 5-7 is their ceiling this year.  They are going to be a much worse team than last year and outlook is downhill from here....a lot of the fake "studs" they got in this last recruiting class are going to rush the portal wanting to go somewhere with a chance or at least some relevance.
Depends on how many aggybucks they'd have to give up to do that, but yeah..we'll see a couple at least.

Man Desmond Howard is such a idiot!  This offense isn’t winning many games.  Lol.

Fucking Ryen Russillo put them in the playoff. He needs to study some history.

Years ago, I met an author who writes Texana, Texas history, about our culture and way of life and what-not.  And of course, of the course of so many esteemed tomes...i asked him..."You frequently have Aggie characters in your books.  How do you write them so well?"

To which this pulitzer prize nominee replied, "I think of a Texan.  And I take away reason and accountability."

I truly got it.  Every day of my life, I ask God for the wisdom to see my way to the opposite of what an Aggie would do in any corner of life.  Family, faith, business, politics, alumni spirit.  Whatever an Aggie will do, I will do the opposite.  And it has served me well.  And each time I see an Aggie, I drop and weep and lift my arms in thanks to the Lord.  And people, neither Aggie nor 'Horn, will stop and ask me, "What is the matter?  What are you doing sir as those Aggies pass by?"  To which I humbly reply, "I am thanking God for not making me like them."

Yes, the aggy "culture" is real. But aggys are never honest about that "reality."

There’s a subtle difference between PV fans and fans from the Appalachias that may incline aggy to treat the latter better. Ol’ Sul Ross would be proud.

aggy hospitality, like most everything else they claim, is quite exaggerated. They love to pay themselves on the back, but their fans are arrogant assholes to everyone they come in contact with. I have been there with fans of a visiting team other than Texas. They were obnoxious and rude.

They have to prove the opposing fan is attending the game before they gets lost on the way to the stadium.  I mean how can aggy give them free bbq and beer before giving them a personal escort to their seats, if they're not there?

I thought any pregame fiction was focused on more important aggy issues.

That thread is so fucking awesome and transparently fake. The guy doesn't use caps in his writing for the most part, at least in his second post, but he makes sure he capitalizes "12th Man" while showing reverence. That's not where it gets obviously aggie though. Then he had to go and post a clip of a kicker for ATM beating Alabama last year and confesses that it was his favorite part of last year's football season, and that he loves the play so much that he's watched it many times since then.

Then he comes back later and doubles down with the tried and true "I'm sure if Alabama fans were being honest, they'd admit to loving that clip too" maneuver, which is the favorite aggie go-to in winning fandom repeatedly against all other teams. They're so flatly insecure in their own relevance that they have a pathological need to regularly lump opponents into the notion that everyone secretly loves and cheers for ATM.

It's almost unbelievable that they continue to behave in this kind of textbook lunacy, but then I remember their total lack of self-awareness and then the decades of repeated insecure goobery always makes sense.

BTW, last year, App State beat 14th ranked and undefeated Coastal Carolina on the last play of the game with, you guessed it, a field goal. The fans then stormed the field. It was their first victory over a ranked opponent since defeating Michigan in 2007. But, yeah, man, that ATM kick against Bama is "App St 86"'s favorite play of last year that he can't help himself from playing on repeat, over and over again while also flicking his lamp light on and off in a dark corner. Fucking absurd.

Yeah, but aggy will only be friendly,  wonderful hosts right up until A State goes to whipping that aggy ass.

John Updike wrote Texana, Texas history?  Or was it Jack Nicholson?
